Looking to recruit experienced modders for a great project!

Hello,

I'm looking to recruit (we even offer freelance positions!) for a long term modding project. I'm looking to put together a team in which the skills of 3D modeling, texture editing, scripting, mesh editing, and even mundane things such as object placing are all present and strong.

At the moment the project is locked up and confidential, so I cannot go too far into it in this post other than stating that we will be attempting to resurrect a long lost race while telling an amazing story.

There are incentives that I will discuss in u2u with each applicant. If you are interested please contact me via u2u with your skills and examples if you have any (mods you've made, textures you've created, scripts you've written) to find out if you are what we're looking for!

I'd be interested but I'm not into texture editing yet and haven't done much for script writing. The only experience I have currently is showcased in my published mods. I have some big mods planned with multiple cells, custom characters a quest and a movie theme...but nothing like what you're asking except for the object placement.

As I stated, even someone to help with object placement is needed!

And this is why it's not good idea to be so vague when recruiting people for big projects.Skilled people aren't interested, but hey, you've got at least some beta testers now.

If you would have read my post like everyone else you would have derived from it that to discover the details you need only private message me regarding joining the project, just as GrimyBunyip has done. At the current moment I am choosing not to release the details until I at least have skilled modders willing to pitch in. So that when I do declare the project in a thread the people who visit it can see that there are skilled modders willing and ablle on the team working on it, and not just some new member whome they've never heard of.

Thank you for the constructive criticism though. Oh and btw those "Beta testers" you spoke so slackingly of, they're the ones I'm making the mod for, and they're the ones who will help to spread the word of how crap it is or how awesome it is... so maybe you should place a little more value in them perhaps?
