Enchanting - secondinary effect glitch

Good day everyone.

Is anyone noticed that secondinary enchantment effects are not increased by PC enchanting skill and perks?

I'm sure that most of players know this glitch and don't care about it - well, this is a minor one, i agree.

Untill i tried to use a bigger enchantments - like a Skein of Magnus (Archmage robe enchantment, seven effects), and only effect that get increased by enchanting skill is Destruction discount.

(You can say that i shouldn't do such things and it's all dirty cheating - i appreciate freedom of opinion sharing, i'm just not going to agree with those. It's a singleplayer-only game, after all. Only thing that matters in Skyrim is if you like what you do.)

For those who don't understand what i'm talking about:

1) Almost basic level, just from Helgen, no enchanting perks unlocked.

 

 

 

2) Few lewels taken in base perk

 

 

 

3) Few more perks, including Insightful and Corpus

 

 

 

4)Enchanting skill tree fully leweled, all perks taken

 

 

 

As you can see, onle Fortify Skill enchantment get improved, while Regenerate Magicka stays at same low and pointless level.

Screenshots taken when using SKSE 1.7, uncapper, all DLC's witl all unofficial patches, some random khajiit and a Grand Soul Gem.

The main question is - is there any mod fixing secondinary effects? I have trouble finding even a mention of that glitch.

P.S. Look at the item price. I think at Enchanting level ~250 it will barely worth a 30 septims. It's a shame, isn't it?

Yes, many of the vanilla enchantments cap out, even with an abormally high skill level. I've seen the same thing when I mod my enchanting skill to 5000 (player.modav enchanting 4900), and some enchantments stay at 25%.

 

I'd look for something that overhauls, makes the enchantments more scalable, although I don't have any clue as to what mod you could use. I DID see that Wintermyst enchantments scale ridiculously high though. (9,850 gold every time you perform a killmove, and I had that on 4 pieces of armor. A little excessive, maybe...)

25% mana regeneration boost - deafult amount, it stays that way from 10 to 5000 skill level. Same for all other than first effects.

Or not...

Just noticed that Fotrify Destruction isn't the first effect of "Skein of Magnis" in editor - but effect with highest cost. And it gets affected by enchanting skill and perks.

(yes, i'm modified it a bit in editor)

 

 

 

 

 

 

So the "first" are chosen by "manacost", not by position on the list. Well, that's don't really changes much since all others effects aren't affected at all anyway.
