WeissYohji Posted October 16, 2021 Share Posted October 16, 2021 Since Bethesda released the new update to remove the Games for Windows Live requirement, I can't play FO3 AT ALL. It'll launch but when I click "New Game", the game crashes to the desktop on the loading screen. WHY? What good is a game if I can't play it? I tried loading with and without FOSE--SAME THING. GenocidalGerbil Posted December 23, 2021 Share Posted December 23, 2021 Same story with me, almost.I have no mods, I load the game, it gets me to the birth scene and freezes indefinitely (cannot alt+f4, Ctrl+alt+delete, only sign out of my computer) every time at different points in the birth scene.I uninstall from steam and reinstall, same story.I download the community patch from May and install it, run the game, it now freezes indefinitely in the same way before the scene even starts.Infuriatingly frustrating. :/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
