So, this is a bit of an odd question and I am not sure if it belongs in Detectives since I am not sure such a mod exists. But figured it worth asking.

 

I am a realism buff, which means that I prefer games that are intended to look realistic, Oblivion among them, to look as much like they would in the real world as you can get from a game featuring talking biped cats and magic.

 

To that end, I like the Melaenie mod (the one that removes the welded on female tops and does absolutely nothing else, aka the mod famous for getting the ERSB to rerate Oblivion as mature). The mod is especially nice in that the vanilla models look realistic, ie fairly plain or at least nothing special, underneath. I would like to do the same thing with the bottoms, male and female, despite the fact vanilla models do not actually have anything underneath.

 

To be clear, I do not like the body replacers I am aware of because (1) they make pretty much every character, including geriatrics, look like porn stars, and (2) doing so breaks neck seams - and I do not care enough about fixing neck seams to go to the trouble to try to fix them.

 

Is there a replacer style mod out there that tries to do this and absolutely nothing more, or if not, is there one that is very close to vanilla models and focuses on realism over eye candy? Thanks in advance.

HGEC comes with so many options, that you will be able to choose almost exactly how you prefer the female to look like, Thin, fat, muscular, small tiny boobs or mega huge, wide hips or thinner... The choices I made. does them not to look like porn stars for sure but really tasteful. But with a porn star, you mean with extra size boobs and similar? I think you can choose between 6 sizes of boobs, from tiny flat A to big unatural mega size. HGEC does have it all I guess, all those options, which makes all other body mods obsolete really. I do think Robert made a good looking natural body but a body is only useful if all clothing and armors gets ported or adjusted to it as well, which they are for HGEC

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping to avoid HGEC, Robert's or any other of the "main" body replacers in favor of something simple, that doesn't come with neck seams (or that requires Blockhead or any number of other complicated modding solutions to eliminate the same), and that looks pretty much identical to vanilla. But that might be the best available option. Or, you know, I'll just live with the characters having bolted on underwear :)

HGEC has underwear option I guess as I use it with underwear at my GF's flat at least.... ;)

 

Still you need a body that have armor and clothing ported to it and HGEC is complete as far as I could see. A body without armor or clothing ported to it is pointless and not useful at all.

Right I am new to modding and am running into several problems.

c) Better imperial cities - Blood and mud patch depends on Blood and Mud.esp

 

 

I am unable to find Blood and mud and open cities mods. The closest thing is a quest line mod for B&M and patches and add-ons for the open cities.

 

Using vortex because of these helpful hints. But after several crashes and an hour of searching (probably just dumb) I plead for help.

Skip better Cities as it will only cause problems. It broke my save gamer at day 2 playing it with a new char

Does anyone know what mod this armor is from? This picture is from the Community Loading Screens mod. I was going to ask this in the mod's forum thread, but it appears to be locked.
