Help with "Open" Better Cities

I just installed Better Cities and thought of looking around a bit to find changes and was enjoying myself in the main city. After I finally got enough I decided to move on with the game so I went to Bravil. As soon as I entered I found out that the houses close to the entrance had really glitchy shadows looking like lines that were moving really fast.

After a bit of trying different option I loaded back where the game asks if I want the cities to be open or closed and I chose closed and that actually fixed the glitchy graphics of Bravil.

This is different glitches around bravil. Some buildings were just plain black instead of having the glitchy shadow lines. Also as I moved closer of further the lines/black textures seemed to change.

This looks like two buildings fighting over the exact same place in the world.

Have you tried turning of "RAEVWD Cities" already to see if it fixes the issue? I could imagine the LOD buildings and the real buildings are now fighting over co-existance.

The parts from Better Cities don't seem to have this clipping issue, only the buildings which were always at this place, thus I suspect LOD to be what they're clipping with.

edit: Wasn't there meant to be a BOSS warning about this, too, at some point? I remember I got yelled at over this back when I installed OBC.

edit2: Keep in mind that disabling the ESP does not necessarily make the LOD go away now. It could as well be stored in a savegame already or something and will need further tricks to get rid of.

Thank you. I guess I will have to eventually do a clean reinstall. For now I am keeping the cities closed since that seems to clean the problem (Probably because it keeps the buildings out of tamriel).

I am guessing this means I definitely did something wrong with the mods

I guess I will have to do a clean install. Anybody can tell me how exactly I can build an omod from better cities? WHen I create the omods with the way I know It just goes ahead and throws all the parts of the mod in the omod and I do not get an option to choose between different options (that alter the same thing). I went through Bruma and the whole place had buildings and floating doors around.

Sure, you can uninstall the mod. The easiest way for me is to find the mod page on nexus, then go to files and hit 'preview file contents'. Then go to your game folder and delete each of those files, and rebuild your patch if using Wrye.

Even though I really like them, I've had to uninstall both OCC and OCR because even with 5 or 6 compatibility patches, I just couldn't get every conflict resolved with 150 different DLC-type mods.
