I'm a total noob at modding, so I'm asking here. I installed and extracted SkyUI, and it gave the ESM and BSA folder, but also a folder called "fomod". I've attached what the folder contains in this post, so I'm just confused at to what I have to do with this folder, do I put it in the "data" folder? delete it?

It seems like you installed the mod manually.

Quick test, uninstall SkyUI for SSE and re-install, and I've also got a /fomod/-folder with 4 pictures in it.

A few other mods for classic Skyrim includes /fomod/-folder with info.xml in them. One example is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/601

It seems all the mods where Vortex installs the /fomod/-folder are mods that does not include an actual fomod-installer, but only includes info.xml or some unrelated files.
