game is constantly crashing around concord

I have no idea what the problem is, I've spent quite a while experimenting with disabling potentially bad mods. I crash whenever I enter Concord coming out of Red Rocket. Any help would be massively appreciated. Here is my load order:

ArmorKeywords.esm I kept getting obsolete with this one and I did not find the Unofficial FO4 patch helpful, cause more glitches than fixes. See if you can find an alternate for armorkeywords oh and it dose not play nice with AWKCR hope it helps you. oh CK gives lots of problems as well if you have it installed. Also download Loot run it and DL FO4Edit to clean up any dirty mods just don't do the DLC's as they are fine the way they are.

You are also NOT going to like me, but it will also mean starting over:

I had the same issue - SCRAP EVERYTHING - ULTIMATE was the issue and Depravity.

 

I dropped down to the Scrap Everything core file and it worked until I got to another cell.

 

Scrap Everything is very problematic. My game worked great after I stopped using that specific mod.

 

DEPRAVITY is a problem - it is tied in with Vanilla Quests and starts in CONCORD and goes downhill from there. I also had to remove that mod in that it started a cascade of errors and ctds and quests not being able to be finished and / or started. I removed it and also my game worked just fine.

I would say so .... I know a lot of people that have issues, even starting the game where the elevator comes down to take you to the surface is invisible .. even the fix did not fix it.

 

So count your blessings ... you are a serious minority.

 

Most of the scrap programs including Spring Cleaning have culling issues, thanks Beth.

I don't think that people with problem-free games and "Scrap Everything" are a "serious minority". It's just like it's with everything. People who have problems, complain a lot and then it's still highly questionable if exactly that mod is the root of all evil.

 

I never had any problems whatsoever with "Scrap Everything". Most issues relating scrapping mods come from "Spring Cleaning" which is a horribly outdated mess. The last version is from before the release of the CK.

 

Got into a settlement building frenzy lately and didn't leave a single stone unturned with both "Scrap Everything" and "Place Everywhere".

I have Depravity and Scrap Everything, no problems with either, and I'm pretty sure there is no conflict. I suspect you have some really obscure conflict between mods most people don't use. Anime, maybe?

Here is the thing about Scrap Everything - and Depravity.

 

I actually took the time to Disable ALL my mods except for those two mods. Because I want to insure that Yes? No?

 

I started a clean new game and yes they were problems. With only those two ( 2 ) mods active. Clean game, as in I started over from scratch.

 

So I'm sorry - but I am glad that you guys had no issues! :) But I know a lot of users that did - do, even now.

ELFX probably has a few, likely with vivid weathers. Armour keywords and Armoursmith extended also require patches for most things.

 

You should use xedit to look for conflicts and create your own conflict resolution patch. It's time consuming and you'll need to do a lot of testing.

 

Also i would drop scrap everything entirely. It will break precombines and you'll have a ton of performance problems and crashes at some point.

Scrap everything only breaks precombines in settlement areas, if it ain't a settlement, then SA doesn't touch it. (though, there IS an option to do so in the installer.....)
