NMM download speed problems

I am not using nexus premium and there is something very wrong with my download speeds. I know that being non-premium restricts your file dl speed to about 1000kb per sec, but mine seems to be capped even earlier than that. I was downloading Monster mod Reborn and it said that the download was going at max speed. The download speed bar at the bottom was filled all the way up to indicate that the speed had been capped. However, when i looked at the amount downloaded in the download manager, i noticed that it was increasing at only about 500kb per sec, instead of the promised 1000kb per sec. So, either the Nexus Mod Manager is broken, or the Nexus is cheating me. I hope that whatever issue there is, that its being resolved, and the dl speed cap is fixed, and i sincerely hope that the nexus is not trying to lying to its users.

there's nothing promised about 1000 kbps ... slow connection is slow connection, sometimes it goes fast, sometimes it's running at 10% speed.

Were you downloading more than 1 file? Normal members are capped at 1000kb/sec total, not per file.

I am downloading this one file on NMM to test out my downspeed i fired up steam and downloaded a game from there (I paused the NMM download ofc), it gave me my regular speed(which is below 1024KBS :( ). So i dont know what is the matter with NMM

you can always do a manual download and then just press the add file button on NMM so it downloads with your browser but can use NMM
