Nexus Mods Profile

  1. This has been the backbone of my modding the last couple of years and I would be quite lost without it now. I've even used it to completely create some personal mods from scratch that I thought would be way beyond my skill to do. There is still much to learn about this and I can't say thank you enough.
  2. Like many here, I've been an admirer of Arthmoor's work and user of much of it since I started modding games. The ability to implement and enjoy ones passion for something would be what many of us would try for I think. Fortunately for the modding community, Arthmoor has shared that passion with all of us. It is not that uncommon to see a post from Arthmoor in a forum thread to help direct someone having an issue or a good idea on where to look for an answer or even provide the key piece of information being sought. Saying "Thanks Arthmoor" sounds so empty at times, but I offer it in the most genuine manner I can.
  3. Always fascinating to get the unvarnished reality of what it takes to go from creating a mod (The Forgotten City is a great mod and highly recommended) to something even bigger; Game Developer. I wish you nothing but success. I can only imagine your Law degree has some benefits to creating your own Game Development company. Great interview.
  4. Very insightful interview with ousnius about his brilliant work and a mod I use day in and day out to make my modding better. I'm just a user and what/how he makes this work is beyond me, so I'll just say thank you for the passion that makes BodySlide & OS work so well. Truly appreciated.
  5. Fantasy? Fetish? Because it's possible though modding? Don't know, but it's either hilarious or makes you rub your eyeballs to erase the image from your mind. To each his own, I guess.
  6. I wasn't meaning don't do it, just that I have taken a much more measured approach to it. I'm running a big mod load including some merged and I'm still looking for the unstable parts of this build. The 2 reasons I offered for the error code you're running into may or may not apply, but they will keep 'merge mods' from completing. Especially number 2....I found it way to easy to forget a simple thing like starting to merge 4-5 mods into one and then the game tells me sorry, no can do, you already have your 255 limit; there's no room left.
  7. Quote "list index out of bounds (3)"- By no means am I an expert, but I encountered errors when merging mods (I used the guide you referenced as a starting point as well) for one of 2 reasons: 1.the mods I was trying to merge were not in consecutive order in my load list....yes the ones you are trying to merge must be arranged in your load order to be directly consecutive or it will not work 2.trying to add a merged mod to a load order that already contains 255 active plugins. You have to leave room for the new merged mod or not going to happen. More importantly though was learning that i can't put 20 pounds in a 10 pound bag without problems down the line. There has to be a plan for successful merging of mods to cut down on plugin count, but the overall game plan needed to be a realistic goal. I have had enough CTD's and re-installs to make me much more cautious in my approach to game bloat.
  8. The game version updated....which means your current game version isn't compatible with the old version of SKSE. There is many threads here on the subject and solutions. They will update SKSE to work with the new game version. Don't know the timing of that however
  9. My guess is you may have to reinstall LOOT to refresh the installation path. I had to do the same thing the last time I did a fresh install.
  10. I've read this works, but I can't verify that myself. I used something just like it to roll back FO4 after the first CC dump http://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/1480982971182559509/
  11. @mindmonkey; it will happen again. use the link provided by DaddyDirection-https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12480/? I have SKSE64 loaded for this mod only. Because of that, I'm still running a 1.4 version...even after accidentally loading the game one day thru the steam launcher. That WILL run the update automatically. With the tool, I just reverted back and bingo. I had to learn the hard way when they first loaded CC into FO4
  12. In response to post #54930713. #54932353, #54932553, #54932643, #54932878 are all replies on the same post. Awesome, Thank you for all the work.
  13. This comment probably belongs in another place in the forum, but.....the work and knowledge shared here on the Nexus site is amazing! Between that and the videos available by people like gopher (?), a game like FO4 that I was already enjoying has become down right awesome!! Thanks to all!
  14. ...remember slide rules? Still have a couple hiding somewhere.
  15. Just wanted to say hey, new to modding. Older than most on this site I would guess. Like building my own PC's for gaming. Like the fallout series and discovered this site does some sharp modding for it, thought I'd try to learn something and enjoy. Pretty simple.
