  1. They've just made a couple major updates over the last few days, it seems.
  2. The banner at the top appears to have glitched for me, it's showing what I assume is the default image instead of the normal Nexus Forums banner. Also, trying to view somebody's posts from the other sites redirects me to the search menu right now, you should probably take a look at that.
  3. How do you take a screenshot?
  4. Random crashes are unavoidable. The most effective way to reduce them is to go through in FOMM and: Enable "bold ESMs" in the settings, then move all .esm files to the top (UNDER Fallout3.esm) and if it flags any .esp files rename them to [mod name].esm. Go through and disable any files that modify the same thing. (Example: 2 mods that fix the Chinese Pistol, 2 mods that modify the same room) TESSnip (part of FOMM tools) is useful for finding conflicts. If you don't use the expansions, go to FOMM > Install tweaker and enable fake xlive.dll. It will make your install a lot more stable. Running as administrator can't hurt (usually have to do this anyway) Never ever ever mix race/hair mods unless they're specially made to be compatible.
  5. My first install is in C:\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3, the Program Files one is just there just in case. Editing the first post for clarity. @Branimirzg: I'll try that. Edit: I found the problem... my FO3 install was installed on Vista, then copy-pasted from my Vista drive to my Win7 drive. This normally works without any problems, but Fallout 3's updater appears to use the extremely shaky method of "check Programs and Features (Win7 version of Add/Remove Programs) for Fallout 3 and find the install directory from there", which requires that I reinstall Fallout every time I upgrade my machine. Which should be sometime this weekend. And this time it'll be a full reinstall of Win7. Lovely.
  6. I got the Broken Steel/Point Lookout DVD a couple days ago with my Christmas money, but when I run the installer I get the following error: "Unable to find your Fallout 3 installation. Please reinstall Fallout 3." I'm running the retail version of the game on Windows 7. I have copies of the install in both C:\Program Files\ and C:\. Anybody know a way to fix this?
