  1. I know this post was made ages ago, and I don't intend for thread necromancy however can this indeed be done? The home is also a favorite of mine, and so far as I've read the creator does not intend to make the conversions or updates herself as the mods are claimed to be the 'final version'. If one is against uploading, would a modder with enough knowhow give an idea as to how this can be done for personal use only? I've attempted doing so myself (I have little knowledge of modding, and had no intentions to upload it, simply using it for personal use) The place opens, however certain meshes appear to be missing, and other textures have a strange 'rainbow' effect on them. Could anyone advise or assist?
  2. Kaye chuckled, eyes half closing some as she tilted her head to the side slightly, a silly grin on her face, "Aw jack-ey boy, not happy to see me?" she stayed like that for a second before blinking, suddenly shaking her head, smacking her palm against the side of her head a moment as she turned about and took a few steps away from him, her back to him, "Gah! Focus kaye!" she said in a mildly frustrated tone, moving her hand to run it through her hair, exhailing a bit, her other hand shifting to rest on her hip."Okay a*****e this is how its going down." She spins round to look to him, eyes narrowed, voice filled with aggitation and spite. "I'm here to stay you got it!? you got an issue with it i'll slice your F*****g head off" She said, promptly folding her arms. Her expression softening after a bit to a more neutral tone, glancing to the side some, "Kind of, got myself under control and, well. wanted to give things another try." "As long as i don't really have to tolerate that other b**** you got hanging around" -- "Gnnnahhh! tha' is annoyin" A woman at a late night, somewhat musty second-rate bar rubbed her ear quickly with her one hand, her other clasped around a beer, her sudden movement gathering an odd glance here and there. "The hell ya lookin' at!?" She snapped, looking over to said paitrons who simply shook their heads some, going back to their booze. "Ye i though' so" She leant back in to her seat, said woman having chose a spot in the corner of the bar, empty bottles of booze littering her table. As she shifted back she lifted her heavy booted feet to rest atop the table. She took a swig of her drink, trying to ignore the ringing in her one ear, wondering who, if anyone was talking about her.
  3. ((OOC: sorry for the double post. Phone is -spazzing- out))
  4. Kaye grinned and straightned. Yup. That was jack no doubt, and he was alone. Perfect. She walked forward out of hiding, as soon as she spotted him she was smacked with the urge to slice him in half with her katana, but she resisted it, shifting her hand off from it, holding her hands up as she approached. As she got close enough however her hand blurred down to the hilt of her katana, bringing it up to smack jack in the jaw with it, her free hand gripping him about the neck tightly, a hold that would normally cut off the air supply. She looked at jack angrily a moment before dropping the katana, her now free'd hand gripping his hair at the back of his head as she yanked him towards her before planting a passionate kiss upon his lips
  5. Jack's apartment was now decorated in a rather. interesting manner. a healthy helping of rose petals lined the floors and walls, settling on the floor like drops of red blood scattered about his apartment. In addition to this, snares. and an assortment of other more dangerous items. a pre-used stake left on the table as he came in, it staring jack right in the face as if it was placed there very very intentionally as the first thing he should see. Kaye heard the movement and moved to sit up quickly, getting up from the couch as she moved over some, staying dead quiet. just in case this wasn't in fact her mark. she set her hand on her katana and waited, if this was who she was waiting for, she'd know in the next few seconds.

As for her face Vikki has a somewhat angled appearance, eyes mildly slanting to the side to give her a constant sly expression, her lips angled in to a smirk more often than not. She has a ringed piercing on the right side of her lip, at her left eyebrow, then a sleeper at her right ear. Embrace: Her old life ended with a party gone awry. Some blokes had too much to drink and, no surprise to the inhabitants, were armed. Vicki got away from the scene as quick as possible, but not without gathering what would have been fatal inguries. 7. Kaye toiled away, decorating the entirety of the apartment, humming a light tune as she went along. Once she was done she admired her workings, having set up mostly in the dark her 'decorations' lay unseen for the time being. Kaye walked over to lay on the couch of the apartment in wait, looking to the items strewn about on the floor. "Really needs a laundry day" she mused to herself as she stretched out some. Waiting for the owner of said apartment to arrive. "Maybe I should hide.. Nah." She yawned some, setting her head on her arm, eyes lazily moving over to watch the door. "Heeeereeee jackyjackyjacky.... Here boy.." She chuckled to herself, somehow finding her words highly amusing.
  8. After a time Kaye reached her destination, slowing the bike to a halt at the curb as she turned the bike off, swinging her leg over as she climbed off. Her fingers hooked under the helmet after she unclasped it, pulling it off her head before setting it back down on the bike. She'd chosen a spot a way away from her initial target location, there was no way in hell she'd use the front door as he'd smell her from a mile away. "Not like that will stop him" She mused to herself with a slight chuckle "might. actually be fun" she said as her lips tightened in to an unfitting smile, looking up to her target location. An apartment on the sixth floor of the building. "think he'll try the outside access? your guess is as good as mine." She seemed to hold a light chat with herself for a moment before Yew cleared his throat on the other end, apparently still there. Kaye snapped out of it and glanced to the side, "and what's your problem?" "Nothing. just. thought you should know you're doing it again." "Am not." She replied in a light tone, yew just decided to keep his mouth shut this time round. As Kaye approached the building she kept an eye out, "Where's my stuff?" "Van outback to your left, the back doors are open." "Alri- are you watching me?" "Juuuuust looking out for you cousin." "Right." Kaye shook her head some, walking over to a white van which had been left parked on the side of the street, she walked over before opening the back doors, squinting in to the darkned back of the van she reached forward, procuring a large black bag filled to the brim with seemingly lightweight items. she retrieved a secondary bag afterwards, a large gym bag with a strap suited for the shoulder. Kaye brought the strap up and set it in place, carrying the other black bag under her arm as she moved back to the side entrance to the apartment. she knew he'd be able to smell her no matter what she did now. so, at least. she planned to give him an... interesting. welcome.
  9. Kaye watched the goings on for a time until jack had moved to open the door. "they're moving out" she said to herself in a low doubled over tone as she shifted slightly, lingering a moment longer. "Yew, you still there?" "Yup." "My delivery ready yet?" "uhm... yeah. though it seems a little. well. what's the word i'm looking for.. mmmnnnnn excessive?? Not to mention kinda. strange." Kaye just chuckled to herself some, gaining a happy smile, half closing her multicolored eyes as she straightened herself. "Strange? maybe. you think he'll appreciate it?" she said in a light tone not befitting her looks, or personality. Yew muttered something about madness on the other end of the line before speaking up in an audible tone, "yeah uh... maybe hey? will just have toooo. find out i guess." "I heard that. Yew." "H-heard what? iiiii didn't say anything." "Yeah. sure." Kaye remarked, lifting her sniper rifle from its place, walking back in to the darkened room. it was time she set her plan in motion. Kaye set the sniper rifle down upon the desk in the dining room of the small apartment, setting her hand on the wood of the table, reaching down to pick up her katana which she'd rested up aside it, strapping it in to place at her back for a change, walking over towards the door, setting her hand on the scratched and aged handle as she opened the door, stepping out in to the hall. Kaye took a pause there for a moment as if just to clear her mind, closing her eyes, standing still with her head slightly inclined. Perhaps she was just waiting, giving some time so she didn't run in to the large grouping of vampires a way away. With her thoughts cleared she lowered her head again, locking the door, turning about to jog down the hallway, her thick boots clomping loudly on the tile. She wasted no time going down the steps and running to the outside of the building where a black motorbike lay in wait for her. thick scratches lining the sides of the bodywork, chipping through the paint. Kaye trotted over to the bike, freeing her helmet from where she'd left it, setting it on her head as she climbed on, setting her keys in the ignition before revving the engine some before taking off down the street, long untucked hair flaring out behind her like a constant flame
  10. Hey Mac, just got a mild issue with the latest post. well, a few little ones that tend to build up. For one, there's too much distance between Kaye and Nathan, not to mention the smoke, the other scents and smells of a bustling city, would defiantly mask and block her out. For two, Kaye is hardly scared. she's been handling these things since a young age, Vampires, if anything, disgust her second personality. so Nathan being able to smell her fear would be rather impossible as she has none. And one more tiny detail. Kaye's been hunting this certain individual (who you have all likely figured out by now) for quite some time, she knows how to surprise them and therefore would more than likely have set up shop downwind. I was sure i had added it in the initial post but it seems in my haste to post i had forgotten it so my bad, but the original points stand true.
  11. While the drama continued groundlevel, a perticular indevidual had set up camp within the dark recesses of an adiquately positioned rented room. The lights turned off, bathing the room itself and the area beyond in darkness. A figure sat concealed at the window, a bright blue-green eye staring down the scope of a sniper rifle which had been propped up against a surface within the building. "That's a lot of bloodsuckers" a woman's voice remarked with a harsh edge of disgust, the owner of said voice straightening her head some, flicking some red hair out from her vision, opening her other eye momentarily, her now mottled gaze sweeping over the streets as she lowered her head again to look through the scope again. "I told you there's a lot of activity in this area. But you guys don't tend to listen to me much now do you." Rang a male voice in her ear through a bluetooth headset which ran through her own secure private line. "Shut up Yew." The woman said in an obviously softer tone." "You sure you're. Uhm. Well. Ready for this? Cause, last time I checked you don't really agree mu-" "Shut the ***** up." "..... Yes ma'm." There was a pause from the other end before Yew started up gain. "So, what we looking at?" "He's got a lot of company." The woman remarked, slowly shifting the sniper rifle to look to different indeviduals which surrounded her target. "Looks like we have ghouls an ugly-a** F****er, gangrel-" "Yeah uh no I'll stop you there." Yew said from the other end. "-not- smart going all in there. What the hell happned anyway??" "For them to get this kind of response, obviously some kind of coverup. Probably, oh I don't know. Some careless guy. Or a frenzied. -either way the a******* f***** up and are now trying to cover it all up." Yew paused a bit before speaking again, "well. Okay so, what's the plan?" "You got that address?" The woman's voice sounded almost doubled over at this point, having a slight eccho to it. Mildly disturbed, Yew took a moment to respond, "yep. Yeah. Uh. So you're going to go there and wait for him?? What if he's got, or. Brings home guests?" "He's not the type to do that." "Guess you'd be the one to know that by now?" She chuckled some, "I guess so." "Either way Kaye you should probably get your ass out of there before he, or, one of the others sniff you out." "Mmhm" she said, though, diddn't really seem to heed his words, still staring down the scope at one perticular member of the grouping.
  12. *mad maniacle laughter* oh the poor bugger~
  13. GENERAL INFORMATION: Name: Kaye Gender: Female Race: Human True Age: 26 Apparent Age: 26 Abilities: True Sight: allows Kaye to see things that normal humans would not normally see, she can also see through certain paranormal disguises, such as a werewolf pretending to be a humanoid or a normal wolf etc.. Resistance: Kaye has an abnormal resistance to the wills of a vampire who wishes to controll her, the few that did in times past claimed that her mind was "wrong" or that no sence could be made from it. APPEARANCE: Height: 5'5 Weight: 65 kg / 145 pounds Hair: Long Red hair Eyes: Right - Bright blue-green which seems to give off a mild glow. Left - a light brown-orange Both the left and right eye have flecks of grey scattered around the iris. Skin: due to her usual movements Kaye has a fair skintone, pale but not unnaturally so. Handedness: Ambidexterous Scars/Tattoos: Kaye posesses a scar that runs a diagonal length across her back, from her side to her upper shoulder. Having aquired this in recent years General physical description: Kaye is hoast to a subtle all rounded general look to her, which has a subtle charm of its own. Not overly attractive yet not hideous in the least. Kaye is of an average if not, mildly curvy build, and by curvy I hardly mean overweight, more. A bit more blessed than the average woman. Due to her constant activities and active nature kaye has a rather toned body to go with its overall shape, muscle toned but not overly defined. as for Kaye's facial structure, she posesses a mildly lean shape with slightly larger eyes modest nose and thicker red set lips. A light dusting of freckles spreadding over her nose and higher upon her cheeks. Voice: Kaye typically speaks with a very mild scottish accent that can only tryly be heard if one listens, her voice having a lower pitch rather than a higher one, as for her actual tone of voice, she has three which she seems to actively switch between. The first (marked in orange) is a more passive tone, while her second is far more harsh and obviously agressive (marked in blue), while in this tone she tends to speak with a near end of disgust, especially if directed towards vampires, and those she deems 'unnatural' The third tone of voice seems to be a mixture of the two, simultaniously overlapping each other to create a near doubled over eccho. Clothing/armor: Kaye doesn't wear much in the armor department. Typically she usually sees fit with a simple white longsleaved, button up shirt and a set of jeans, all topped off with a set of thick soaled black boots. PERSONALITY: General Personality Traits: Kaye is incredibly unpredictable at times, those that do know her, know to likely expect at least one or two violent outbursts during the day, however she claims to have brought this under control for the time being. Claims. Kaye typicly has two modes, which have been dubbed, kaye one, and kaye two. The people who have done so seemed to lack the creativity at the time of naming. Kaye one, or, the original, previously prevailent personality, is driven by her own goals. A stubborn woman who won't take 'no' as an acceptable answer to most of her questions. Kaye is incredibly persistant, both in this personality. And her next. Which brings us to Kaye two. A violent, profane, relentless personality who doesn't tend to hold back words. If she holds grudge against you, you would either know about it, or already have a blade through your chest. Fears: Kaye's predominant fear is likely death, however this isn't classified as the actual death itself, more what would happen beforehand. Namely the pain, agony, torture and length of time before succumbing. Kaye two however doesn't hold any fear for pain what so ever, she simply 'fears' or, dreads, being turned in to the very creatures she hates with every fiber of her being Attitudes towards friends/strangers: Kaye could love you, and hate you. All at the same time, and this is if you're a friend. Strangers on the other hand normally bear the brunt of a cautious, or violent Kaye. Opinion of the world: "The world's gone to sh**" HISTORY: Past: Kaye is not one for sharing her history, but what is known is that she had been born with an odd. Gift. Being born of two minds, yet one body. One far more suited for combat and other more, violent acts. How this occurred is anyone's guess. soon after the age of 15 she left her home in the highlands of Scotland, her parents claiming that she had just up and left one day, repeatedly saying how she felt she should be somewhere else. This was when Kaye's adventure began. With her unique ability to pick out the nonhumans from the humans, Kaye took up the blade to hunt the creatures of the night that threttned mankind. Part of her began to hate them more and more the more she fought them. Her first encounter being that of a vampire called Kezrah, the young teen having somehow managed to drive the vampire away, only, to ironicly find herself working with him, and another grouping of vampires six years down the line. At that point, Kaye still had relitave control of herself, only one personality being persistant at any one time. One personality being fine with her charge of assisting the grouping of vampires, the other however. Not so much. With her growing relationship with a certain vampiric member of the grouping, kaye's second 'personality' decided to take over whilst receiving a simple massage, having hated the contact with the other. Kaye threttned to do away with herself, or the vampire in question. This caused a massive conflict within herself and inevitably caused the personalities to merge together, resulting in what is seen today. Her vampiric lover as well as his allies at that stage decided to try 'seperate' her personalities again. When that happned however it only caused them to meld further. Her second more violent personality becoming more prevailent. With her signature weapon, the katana, drawn out en point to her lover's throat, she promissed to find and slay him personally. With that Kaye vanished once again, stalking her lover in the shadows, causing him strife whenever she had found and gotten close enough to catch him. That brings us to the present day, five years on from this incident, kaye claims to have gotten control of herself and now seeks to rectify things. In her. Own way. Birthplace: Scotland Family/Relationships: Living/Dead Family Members: Yew (cousin) Kaye's parents have been off the map for many years, and she has no known siblings. Her only contact being her eccentric, magic inclined, cousin Yew. Friends: Friend is a. Strong word for Kaye. She has many aquaitences, naimly those of her previous grouping. Enemies: Kezrah Rain (Originally dubbed Ame, but switched names to Rain once in more, english, areas) And prettymuch any other nonhuman that tends to get in her way Current Nationality: Scottish Current Place of Residence: Kaye moves around quite a bit, tending to stay in low costing apartments where available OTHER INFORMATION: Merits and Flaws: I think having a bipolar split personality is kind of a flaw don't you? Fun though. Backgrounds:
  14. Lost (On the way to Balmora) Despite his better judgements Reinen had drifted off to sleep, his hand losening its grip on the hilt of his sword, his body relaxing itself, his other hand slipped lightly to his side. He had no idea how many hours went past but by the time he woke the sun had already risen and the heat of the day had started to set in. Reinen woke up with a start as he realised just how badly he had let his guard down before letting out a sigh of relief that nothing had happened while he slept. After hazarding a look around Reinen slipped into his now dry armor before affixing his cloak to the back. Soon after this Reinen picked up his sword and placed it at his side as usual before saddeling up the horse. As he fixed the stirrups he glanced off almost absent-mindedly into the distance. "where am i going" he wondered to himself. The question he was so sure of the day before was now a perplexing conundrum that he had to solve. With this small bit done Reinen lifted himself onto the horse and pointed it inland before spurring it on unknowingly in the general direction of Balmora, secretly hoping that he would bunp into someone that would give him a small sence of direction in the place that he knew virtually nothing about.
  15. Well if a new RP's to be made i might consider joining and the fallout is a good concept as it is a world most of us are fermiliar with. That and i really want to get back into the game of roleplaying, been really slow here lately
  16. err wind, i think youre in the wrong topic *giggles*
  17. After the deaths of his parents and his siblings a young lad by the name of Reinen decided that there was little to no future left for him in the province of Cyrodiil and after days of thought Reinen decided to sell his parents homestead and set out on his own in an attempt to make a future for himself rather than living off the noble name of his family. The mere thought of being pitied and looked down on by the other nobles every day for the rest of his life was an appauling thought. After a few months of preperation the end the house sold fast and Reinen exited the gates of the Imperial city for the last time, never willing to want to enter there again. With a last thought of melencholy Reinen set his route past Cheydenhal and planned to traverse there for a last time before leaving the province. Carrying nothing with him but his armor, the septimes he aquired from the house, his sword and a sling-like bag that he wore over his shoulder, and at this time not even a horse in tow. Reinen used his own two feet to make it up tp Cheydenhal, pausing momentarily at the site of his family's demise to examine some horse bones that had been left relitavely untouched from that incident. The visit diddnt last long however as a surge of still fresh memories urged him on. Soon after he arrived at the gates of Cheydenhal. Reinen gased up blankly at the gates with his almost emotionless eyes for quite some time, not really wanting to set foot into he city deciding that he would much rather leave it as it was in his memories than gain a new perspective to his favorite city. Quietly Reinen took a tentative step forward and touched the great wooden gate with an armored hand, the texture of the wood seeping through the supple leather that made up the underside of his glove. As he let his hand slip down its expance andslump to his side he turned his back to the gate and began to walk again, aiming to walk around the city. It was then that he was recognised by one of the stable-hands. "Blake!" the woman with messy brown short-cropped hair called out to him as she joged to catch up. Her extrodinarily small frame suggesting that she was a wood elf. As she reached him she stopped and adapted a slightly sorrowful expression. "Im... sorry for what happned." Not really in the mood to talk Reinen mearly nodded his apreciation for the thought, his body language clearly suggesting that he was eager to get on his way. The girl picked up on this and sidestepped so she stood in front of him. "I heard word... that you were leaving." she said more as a statement than a question. She let out a forced sigh and averted ger gaze from his eyes, "If you really insist on leaving then... At least take the proper means to get to your destination." she looked back with a slightly sheepish smile as she motioned for him to wait a moment. She returned shortly with a bespeckled grey and placed the reins gently in his hands. Reinen looked at the horse for a moment and then back to the girl. "Thank you." he said quietly, his voice of a soft warm tone and a medium pitch. After a moment of standing there tears welled up in the elf's eyes and she lunged forward and wrapped her arms around him. "You better damn well come back or by the nine i'll drag you back myself." she said in a still audiable murnor. A slight smile crossed his face, after a slight hesitation he returned her embrace. "One day perhaps Shinla...." was the last thing he said to her before he mounted his horse and spurred it on, speeding off towards the morrowind boarder. -- It was after a few days of constant travel that Reinen ended up on the edge of the mainland, looking out across the waters towards Vvardenfell. The land and the people were strange and different from what he had seen before, about teh only thing that he had expected was the rise in Dunmer but that was it. Aside from the lands strangeness to him however he felt compelled to continue forward, sencing that he was not at the place that he was yet ment to be. After ahwile Reinen dismounted his horse and moved towards a small isolated fishing village that he had spotted ahwile off. As he neared the village he flicked his cloak forward and did the same with his hood, even as he did so Reinen tilted his head forward so that even less of his face was visible aside from his mouth, his neck and a few strey strands of dark silver hair that peaked round the nape of his neck at either side. Rein in the one hand and the other set on the hilt of his blade at his waist Reinen entered the village, unsure of what the reaction of the residents may be, nor the attitude that they showed outsiders. Since he entered the province Reinen had found yjat he tended to shy away from people and preferred to travel a more isolated route. The sound of his armor clinking ever so slightly and the hooves of his horses feet clodding lightly on the stoney street was the only sound to be hered as the few residents that did reside in the small village stopped their usual goings on to watch the stranger. Reinen felt this and was nearly overwhelmed by the urge to leave the village and seek another way aross the waters but this he thought to be the best route to take and so he carried on. In the now mute lighting Reinen looked as pale as a vampire, even moreso than he did in the day as he was of an unusually light skintone. Reinen stopped instinctavely when he heared the indistinguishable sound of a blade being drawn from a sheath. As he spun round he was met by the look of an angered civilian who had rushed his blade at Reinen. Acting instinctvely Reinen sidestepped the attack and drew his hunting knife before making a quickstep forward, jamming the hilt of the knife onto the hand of his opressor, forcing him to drop the blade. Using the confusion to his advantage he used a move that was taught to him by one of his fathers sparring partners. Reinen changed his stance and sweeped his foot under that of his opressor, unbalancing him and sending the in-experienced civilian to the ground. On the fall however he flailed out with his hand and pulled off Reinen's hood before he hit the ground with a dull thud. "Its unessisarry to start a fight with someone who came only to trade." Reinen said in his usual quiet tone. The civilian, who Reinen now took to be another Imperial rubbed the back of his head that had hit the stoney street. "Got yourself a quick hand there boy." he said as he wearily got to his feet and dusted himself off. "Sorry but people round here don't take too kindly to outsiders." the tone was neutral but Reinen could sence the bittrness and bite hidden therein. "I still don't qiute see the point if i mean no harm." Reinen retorted, stowing his blade. "Yea? and how the 'ell was i supposed to know that eh? A stranger walking into the town uner the cover of darkness wearing a cloak baring a sword and fully armored. Don't that sound a bit mennacing to you?" again the same tone was used, this urked Reinen slightly but he decided not to let it show in his answer. "I suppose. Well then i suggest you allow me to do my buisness and i'll be on my way leaving you all no worce for ware." he paused. "Although i diddn't suspect such hostility from another Imperial." "Bah youre a fool if you ever thought that just because im of your race means that im going to be your friend. Fine, get what you need and get your ass out of here, threres a general store down the way." Reinen stopped the man from walking away just yet with another of his questions. "I also need passage over the river if thats possible to arrange? I'll pay well." The man shook his head "Fine whatever take the boat at the end, i don't give a damn as it is just leave." with that the man hurried off "Friendly people...." Reinen said quietly to himself as he rolled his eyes before going to purchase some supplies and heading over to the boat that the man had mentioned. Only to find that it was incredibly small and only suited for a single person. Reinen looked over at the horse that he held to his side. Not wanting to rid himself of it Reinen let out a sigh as he made a plan to swim it across, only hoping that it wasn't too strenious for the horse. So he set off on the river, setting a good pace so the horse wouldnt get tyred over easily and at the same time ensuring that they would eventually reach the other side before it drowned. The trip went on ahwile and at times thought the horse dissappered under the waters, but to his amazement seemed as if he was going to make it. Soon before landing however the boat made of old wood and the like gave way and split, forcing Reinen into the waters. Although not far from the land his arnor was heavy and dragged him down, making him struggle just to stay relitavely above teh surface, let alone make any progress. Getting tyred quickly Reinen did what little he could do and grabbed hold of the horses neck and miraculosly the horse pulled them out from the waters and out onto the land. His armor soaked and most of his energy spent reinen fell on his back on the ground and rested a moment chucking to himself as he considered his luck, or lack thereof. With little other choice Reinen did what he could to make an impromptu campsite along the river, eventually managing to light and get the fire going before slippig out of his armor and setting it closeby so that it could dry before wrapping his cloak around him. As it was of a much lighter fabric it dried easily and kept him at a good temperature. Sitting hiddle by the fire Reinen glanced over at the horse that had lay itself on a softer patch nearby in order to rest. "Good idea" he said with a slight sarcastic smile as he stared into the small campfire before letting out a sigh, "Guess i should wait here for now...." he said quietly to himself probably about sunrise he thought, continuing his statement. With that Reinen rested his back against a nearby rock and kept his sword nearby before closing his eyes into a light sleep. Knowing that letting his guard down in a strange and unfermiliar land was a bad idea.
  18. Aluida turned his attention to the child like man as the Drakkar mentioned him. "I see." He let out a short chuckle, "Then i suppose either way he deserved what he recieved. Such people would be a blight on the city if they were allowed to continue their ways unchallanged." He watched the Drakkar ahwile, "How do i feel about Assassination you ask?" he unfolded his arms and shrugged. "To be honest ive always had a soft spot for assassins." he chuckled, "Found that out when i went with the lady to visit the dwarf lands. Their politics are complicated and yet, simple in a way. Someone bothers you and you just have him have an... accident.. so to speak. you can just emagine the tensions at the kings table." he chuckled and shook his head, "No one would eat in fear the food was poisoned. Shall we say my knowladge of herbs came in handy in that visit, but again i digress. The answer to your original question would be that i have no qualms with it. Just know that i make quick kills rather than let someone suffer for long," his expression darkned, upon his face such an expression might strike fear into some that looked upon it reflecting more of his true nature. "I intend saving such suffering for the one i hunt." Nynlata noded and folded her arms, adapting a look of speculation. "All sounds well and good, but my time with working with assassins, theives and the like has tought me that such wonderful offers never come without an underlying price." she tilted her head to the mouth of the alleyway, "Might as well come out now that we both know youre here." she turned her attentrion back to the man. "And one more question, would i be free to disembowel my target, or use any means of my pleasing to incinerate, electricute, blow up or otherwise cause general distruction on my target?" as she said so small bolts of lightning cracked from her held up arm, dancing along her fingertips.
  19. Aluida let out a cheerful sounding laugh, "So you’re not as blind as i thought you to be." he said in an almost playful manner. "I guess the drake's out of the bag on that one, if you'll pardon the pun. Royalty... yes of a sorts, although id rather not say I’ve fallen from..... 'grace' as you would so put it." sensing a slight curiosity in the Drakkar Aluida decided to continue. "I was born with this mark branded onto my hand, the so-called Mark of the Uncha Isles from whence I truly come. They are a group of islands found on the north western most corner of Luier, the name of the lands I come from. Five islands surround the largest in the centre.... that.." she said with an almost resentful sigh, "Is where I used to govern.... If you had ever been there or met someone from there, as I assume, you've heard that that is the home of the Astenous demons, vile creatures that could suck the very life from your being through their fingertips." he paused, "To cut this story shorter I left, plain and simple, I resented having a drop of blood in common with those demons, lest of all being considered as a leader among those that need to feed on others like parasites to live. After leaving there I met..." he paused for a moment, seeming to search for words, "An elf, to put it quite bluntly. Soon after that through reasons I’m sure your intelligible mind can fathom I joined the city under the guise of a guard, pledging myself to the royal family, and since I looked so much alike their race as well I considered myself like them for awhile... One of the demons from the isles had tracked me down in the meantime and slew the girl and as we fought opened a rift, banishing me, and as I hope, himself, in this realm. I am only here for blood, or a means to get back so I can do so." he shrugged, "I doubt any of that was meaningful to you but I’ve been wanting to get it off my chest for some time. Do with it what you will. As for having use for me," he chuckled, "If it eventually leads to my departure of this place, or the finding of my enemy Akuma, then I would be more than happy to lend my services." He regarded the information that the drakkar had relayed to him carefully and with great interest. "Intriguing tactic. Only by the shedding of blood can the blood of more innocence be spared then?" he chuckled, "I am of no alignment, this makes me.... flexible. if you could so put it. Oh and as for the child, let’s just put it that I don’t have much patience for them anyway..... putting up with them is merely a.. formality." Nynlata chuckled, "Loose ends eh?" she said whilst she watched as it bounced the orb in its hands. She leant up against the wall in an almost uncaring manner, her same grin still on her face. Nynlata folded her arms behind her head. "Well you've made me curious now, what would you want with a dark elf slash sentient werewolf eh? you in all black armor and that menacing look of a killer on your face." she said after faking a shiver with her grin broadening a bit "Am I to be a Bloodhound for your organization as well then?" she said whilst eyeing him awhile, "There’s no denying it, I smell others on you that are the same. That stench of death is quite prominent on you." she chuckled, "Aside from that I’m curious, what was the purpose of you seeking that orb? me I just found it a shiny object that may find some coin in the market." she said with a chuckle.
  20. Nynlata cursed as the figure seemed to be gaining ground on her, being quite a bit faster than she had expected."Youre not getting away that easy!" she shouted after the figure as it ducked around a corner. In a quick odd motion Nynlata began lowering herself, leaning forward and gaining momentum, as she rounded the corner into the alleyway herself, her momentum carried her half up the wall of the side alley. Quickly using this to her advantage Nynlata grabbed out for a rope that had been tied from a window to the one opposite it. Rope in hand Nynlata swung round it and let go on the second pass, flinging her lithe body into the air. She twisted and arched her back, executing a perfect backflip before landing gracefully on the ground in front of the man. "Might wanna tell me what the big rush is for mister misterious?" she said whilst flicking a strey hair from her face, all the while her usual menacing grin was in its place. Aluida chuckled and a very slight grin crossed his face as he held his sword forward. "I'm no hunter of dragon kin granted, assuming that is what you indeed are my unsightly scaly friend." he said whilst keeping his altitude the same as the one in front of him, "As to answer your question, perhaps."he shrugged, " I'm more used to enemies attempting to suck the very life from my being through their tainted fingers." he let out a slight chuckle. "Your affairs and the affairs of this land do not concern me in the slightest. Pray tell, since you obviously plan on killing me," he added quickly, attempting to use talents he had picked up long ago to find what he needed. "And seeing your obvious prowess you will most likely succseed. what is the importance of this massaccre on this unimportant isle?" All through the time he spoke, he kept his sword drawn and in a defenceable position, whilst he reached up to his chin with his left hand, using a pause in his speaking totake the glove off with his teeth. Planning to put it on again later he slipped the glove into the pouch that contained his vials. With the glove gone it revealed the hand to be covered in much of the same runes that could be found on his arm, any who looked twice they would see that the runes themselves pulsed with a slight blood red light, whilst one, compleatly different from the others diddnt. The winged insignia etched on the back of his hand was different to anything in this land or the one he claimed to originate from, That being said it was the very reason he kept the hand covered as any who knew its mark would be able to tell exactly who he was. But that is a history lesson for another time.Only now guessing that his opponent had been blinded he diddn't care much for removing teh glove, even so he diddn't think it would know its meaning. "You going to grace me with words or continue to float there like a hollow shell?" he said after a small while had passed.
  21. Aluida silently cursed as the blade caught in the drakkar's armored tail and forced himself go of the blade, knowing this was probably what his attacker had been planning he tucked his wings behind him and dived earthward at a dizzying speed before spanning them out once again, forcing him into a rapid ascent. As he passed the Drakkar he grabbed hold of the blade, using his momentum to wrench it free, ripping up a chunk of the Drakkar's tail as he did so. Aluida looked at the carnage below for just a second before directing his attention back to the Drakkar. A silent pause passed the two, an unnatural stillness, before Aluida rushed at the drakkar again, making a calculated swing for its head, still keeping his eye out for the tail and taking great caution in positioning himself in such a way that a withdrawal was possible. Nynlata's interest peaked as the robed figure that she had been eyeing for a while now bolted from the room, initiating a petty squabble between a few drunks. Wanting nothing more than to follow the man but at the same time finding this the opportunity that she had been waiting for, Nynlata made a quick choice to end the squabble before making her way after the figure as she had gathered a good enough scent from him to follow. With a menacing grin on her face Nynlata quickly stepped into the fight and grabbed both men by their collars before smashing their heads together. With a disconcerting thud she threw the two from the tavern and turned her attention to the few barmaids still serving at that hour. "Now that that’s taken care off, ill be right back." she said before bolting out the door and beginning her search for the robed figure, awhile down the road nearly bowling Leonardo over as she rushed past him in the streets.
  22. I dont even get as far as starting the game unfortunately, it dosnt even install which is the problem. Ive heard quite a few other people have proplems with the vo_english.rar buuut havn't been able to find anything on it strangely enough. I guess its a possibility.... ill try getting the disk swapped out but i'll be seriously dissappointed if it happens again, oh well, here's hoping it dosn't and the store takes it back. But thank you for the reply
  23. Thank you for the welcome, its a retail Disk. and original? i think.
  24. I just just bought Dragon Age yesterday but the game has been unable to install due to a corrupted file in the vo_english.rar file. More specifically the cir300 file, however it corrupts the whole .rar. If anyone can help me bypass or fix this problem I’ll be eternally grateful. PS: I’ve already tried the Data Execution Prevention method that I found else ware but to no avail. Thank you in advance.
  25. Aluida was taken aback by the skill and speed of the creature in front of him but let out a small grin as they flew upwards as he was known in his own land for his speed in the air. As the drakkar let him go and pulled back his tail to swing at him Aluida spun upwards and arched himself to avoid the blow, allowing the Drakkar's tail to pass his waist and instead catch his robes at his covered left arm, ripping them asunder exposing his arm inderneath to be covered with odd looking runes but unbeknownst to Aluida his assilent couldn't see them. Putting this aside Aluida spun round in the air and broaght his sword from over his shoulder for increased momentum, taking this oppertunity to do some damage Aluida swung at the Drakkar's tail which had yet to clear itself of his reach, his wings spread out wide behind him to increase his stability and slow his decent. -- Nynlata chuckled before he wen't, "Arn't they always." before watching him walk off, "Yea why not, nothings happening here anyway." she said before looking at the robed figure whom she thought had moved, after ahwile she lost interest and looked off with a sigh, her mind wandering back to Cyrodiil and reluctantly to what was left of her family. At this thought she couldn't help but let out a chuckle, "Funny, when most of them want to kill you." she said out loud, remaniccing in her own memories it must of semt like complete babble to anyone else. In truth Nynlata had three sisters a brother and a father as her mother had been killed long ago. It was only her brother that could stand her, rather it was all the others that would go out of their way to do away with her, mostly as it was only herself and her brother that had gained the gene from their mother, the others saw them as unclean and a threat. Nynlata let out a slight sigh, "Wonder where they are now?" she said before snapping back to reality noting that she had shown a sensitive side for too long by her standards. "What the hell you looking at?" she snapped as a patron at the bar that had been staring at her.
