  1. Nynlata watched Leonardo from the corner of her eye and blew a strey strand of hair form her face, a clear guesture of her boredom. "Place is as still as death." she said quietly so only Leonardo could hear. Noting by his silence as he approached she guessed he had nothing of importance to note. her eyes scanned over the room once more. After seeing nothing of interest she streatched as she lifted her arms above her head and interlocked her fingers before folding her arms behind her head and leaning slightly back on them. "You sleep well? I'd admit, i diddn't think you to be up already." she said whilst closing an eye, letting the other shine dimly in the darkned room. -- Aluida saw something coming at him from the corner of his eye before it hit into him, he rolled to the floor and jumped back to his feet before jerking his head to get a better look at what had hit him, recognising it as a child he silently cursed when he found it was already dead. Laying the child on the floor he drew his silver blade with his un-gloved hand before reaching into the pouch at his side with his other before pulling out a glass tube with a viscous luminous orange liquid inside. Raising the tube to his mouth he pulled the stopper with his teeth and threw the liquid in front of him in a wide ark, a few seconds after being released into the air the liquid burst into an orange flame that swirled round him. Using this as a distraction he poured the rest onto his sword, setting it aflame, letting it cast a dancing light around him. Without a second thought he spread his wings wide and rushed through the wall of flame and dived into the Drakkar. Before it had a chance to react to his presance he charged forward with a wide swing, holding his blade so that he would leave as little an opening as possible if he had missed. As he moved in anticipation of the Drakkar's next move he grabbed for another vial at his waist, this one unlike the former was a blue-grey powder, almost glassy in texture. With this vial he opened it and threw the poweder into the eyes of the Drakkar in front of him.
  2. Aluida looked down and watched as the people rushed by below, deciding it would lead him to a point of interest he dipped one of his wings and spiraled down, landing gracefully on the ground befor tucking in his wings behind him and running off in the direction that the people had been headded. As he persued them he discovered their destination points, the docks. As the people in front of him slowed to a hault he weaved his lean frame through the croud to get a better look at the scene in front of him. Even though he knew the combatants were probably completely oblivious to his presance he kept his right hand resting on the hilt of his sword, just in case things got out of hand. As the fight progressed Aluida watched the combatants carefully, wandering to himself what could of sparked such a fight. -- Nynlata began to grow tyred of the recent inactivity of the establishment. "this place is almost as dead as that one place back in Cyrodiil" she thought to herself as she leaned back on the wall, folding her arms, her attention darting between each paitron of the establishment attempting to guess the likely threat of each, almost feeling a surge of excitement when she saw someone staring at another in a threatening tone or move in the wrong way. As she continued to watch her attention was grasped by a man who had just entered. As she watched him seat himself. " looks like he's got something on his mind." she thought hopefully. Perhaps this newcommer would cause an incling of a scuffle. She let out a sigh as she regarded his appearance again. "perhaps not."
  3. OOC: *knocks on the screen* "heloo? anyone living out there?" *concludes they must of all been eaten by the giant bunnies*
  4. OOC: @Monsta138 i may be completely wrong here but i dont see your character sheet in the Armageddon: Before the Rift Rules, Setting and Signup topic. And unless youve sent a PM to Zephyr Kronos with your character sheet and read the rules then unfortunately you can't partake in the RP. Basically its like eating cookies without asking :P . so best get that done before posting. But again im not the starter or the GM of this RP so its best that you confer to Zeph about it first. IC: Nynlata grinned before nodding back at Leonardo before turning her attention to the men in the bar, watching like a hawk for any sign of a fight. Unlucky to any who would choose tonight to start a fight Nynlata diddn't exactly play gentle, and as her character loved a fight it wouldnt take long for her to bore down on the offenders with a shower of fists. Nynlata's grinn broadned as she surveyed the scene almost wishing for a fight. -- The elf looked around for a moment now that his head had stopped throbbing and he took in his surroundings with his ice blue eye that seemed to emit a slight light in the darkness (in essance it was merely because of its color), the scene he surveyed was much different to his homaland, although slightly similar to the eastern lands that he had once visited on his homeworld. He righted his red cloak and ensured it sat comfortably on his shoulders and diddnt obstruct his wings before walking in the general direction that most of the people had beein going, hoping that he would reach a point of interest and probably get his baring on where he was on the island. Unconciously, as he was walking he held the gold medallion around his neack with his gloved hand, the size of teh medalion in and of itself was just smaller than the palm of his hand and despite the meterial out of which it had been made it was light. After ahwile he came across a rotund old woman which was packing things out into the street, possibly old items that she planned beggars and others to take. Not seing many other people out at this time of night he decided to ask the woman for what little assistance she could privide. "Pardon me madam but, " before he could finish his scentance she pulled out a small dagger and waved it at him, "who the 'ell are ya? start talkin'!" startled by this sudden act of violence he rased his hands in the air as a guesture to show that he was unarmed. Even though much taller than she was (his wingspan also accounting for some of his height) the woman seemed to pay little notice to this and continued to wave the rusty dagger threteningly at the elf. "I diddnt mean to startle you madame...." "I don' care what you intended! who the hell are you?" "My name is Aluida, Aluida desad'e. Im not from around here, i just need to know if theres a place that i could find passage of the island." Not entirely convinced the woman still kept her weapon drawn. "that'l be the dock now be off with ya!" Aluida decided that he would gather no more information from this paranoid woman and decided to ask another about the location of this dock, or rather he decided, a possible arial view would help him. With that he turned his back to her , spread his wings to their full length and launched himself into the sky, this time paying more attention to the air pockets and stabalising hismelf as he came across them. After ahwile his understanding of the atmosphere in this land grew and he was able to fly as he did on his homeworld.
  5. Nynlata chuckled, "Night is when i am most active by far, and sleeping isnt too much of an issue for me.." she said with a slight shrug. "I mean i do sleep, just as everyone else does, just.. not as often." she said with a grin before unfolding her arms and leaning against the wall. "As for me starting trouble well.... you could most probably count on it. Although..." she said eyeing who she suspected to be the inkeep for a few moments before continuing. "Regarding my love for a fight and my energy level at the moment i guess a proposition could be made. How about i take your place while you go rest and ensure that this place keeps quiet." she chuckled again. "Even if the patron dosn't approve of payment i need something to do till morning and this seems to be just the kind of thing that can keep me entertained." she looked at Leonardo, attempting to predict what he was thinking, "And i promise not to be the one to start the fight... Only to end it quite swiftly." another pause went by before she added to the statement, "And i promise not to kill them...." she said with a sigh and a slight ammount of dissappointment in her voice. Before adding quickly in a hushed tone, "Unless the situation calls for it."
  6. Nynlata placed her finger on her chin in a guesture of thought. "So a room here is 15 for the night.... Back in my homeworld a room could vary anything from 10 gold to 40 depending on the establishment. Gauging from this place however it would seem it would be about 20 or slightly less. From that i can colclude that the currencies are similar, so in essance to haggle i should either add on or lower the price depending on the situation." she looked back at Leonardo, "Can't just do that. The items still a bit hot if you can undersatand my meaning. I have to wait ahwile before seling it to a vendour." She chuckled after looking around a bit. "So im guessing woth you working as bouncer there wont be any fights here? Too bad though." she shrugged "Well if one does start save me the liberty of thowing one into a wall or something before you break it up.." she looked directly into his eyes with a smirk on her face, "I love a fight." Meanwhile high above the Island a winged being was hurteling to the ground at an emmence speed. Finally opening his eyes the elf realised his prediciment and attempted to span out his wings to slow his decent, but to no avail. The warm air currents were unpredictable and changed too frequently for him to eaven out. Only a few mertes above the city he managed to spread his one wing and bank to the left, Although again misgudging the currents his planned gentle bank turned into a sharp left turn. Only a few metres above the ground now he attepted this again, only to get the same result as the last time. Swerving to avoid hitting into the people in the street, the unfortunate elf rammed streight into a pile of wooden crates. It was ahwile before he stirred again and rolled out into the street, hand clutching his head and wings flailing about. After setteling himself and taking a good look around he his tis hand on the floor in dissappointment... He was still on the same island. He had attempted to leave the firey Island and head home, but as it seemed he was no longer where he had thought himself to be. After ahwile the blue haired got to his feet and dusted himself off. "That could of gone better...." He said to himself after ensuring that luckely, no fine bones in his woing had been broken desite of the crash. He stood there for a long time with one question burning in his mind, where will i go now?
  7. OOC: thats right ^_^ Nynlata grinned, "Bingo! I was half expecting you not to but thats beside the point." she said before combing through her short white hair with her fingers shortly, noticing that she hadnt completely washed all the blood from her hair as when she removed her hand there was a wash of a misture between blood and water on her hands. Seeing this she inconspicuosly wiped her hand on her pants before folding her arms. "Im glad youve had some luck. Me? No clients, but i did drop in on a merchant... was about to get me a sweet looking artifact to haggle with but, some ass beat me to it and killed the guy and took what i was looking for..." she chuckled and a crazed grin crossed her face, "I dont care who the hell he is but if i see him again im going to give him sonething to remember me by thats for sure." she shrugged, "I still managed to get something of interest though. Dunno how mych it will get me but we'll see." she paused a moment, "Seeing as youve now got a paying job, care to possibly explain the currancy to me? Diddnt exactly get the chance yet ya know?"
  8. It took ahwile till Nynlata had passed the tavern that both she and Leonardo had visited earlyer. With a curious shrug she decided to make her way in, thinking forst however it would eb wisee to hide her atrifact. Looking around for a suitable hiding spot that seemed to be out of sight and unused, Nynlata eventually came across such a location. Looking round hesitantly Nynlata Placed the vase inside a what seemed to be a wearhouse full of grain. Although upon closer inspection it could be found that all the grain was old and that the scent of all activity had been washed from the place so onlt that of the grain remained. The place she had chosen to hide it was inside one of teh very bags, one of the oldest and most unapealing should anyone stumble in there that night. After the deed was done Nynlata rubbed her hans together and walked back to the bar, only to find that a fight had broken out, she rubbed her hands together with a myschevious grin on her face, "Now who am i to turn down a good bar brawl.." As she approached however it seemed to draw to a close as the guard carried the two off. "Damnit...." she said as her grin faded. After a few moments of observing Nynlata wandered into the bar, only to find Leonardo there. Without hesitation she walked right up to him and patted him playfully on the back, although not knowing her own strength it was most likely much harder than she had intended. "Well well lookie who i found again." she chuckled "By the looks of things id say youve had a bit of luck no?"
  9. OOC: *shruggs* i dunno. and as of today exams are officialy officially finished! *does a little happy dance*
  10. OOC: well my official exams are over, its just the nigling little two left, Afrikaans and geography which are a cakewalk. so im back in the game if you people still want me ^_^ :P
  11. OOC: sorry for the double post but i have bad news....... my mothers yanking my chain and killing my computer for an entire month due to exams. So any who will please take Nynlata over for me as i probably wont be back in time to RP at all. Whoever does take her over you have my permission. i guess... ill see you guys in a month..... maybe...
  12. Nynlata stepped back and allowed the merchant to fall, the first thing to attack her scences was the smell.... blood. her eyes widned before she shook her head furiously, consentraiting her attention on the figure infront of her. "OY! i dont care who the hell you think you are!" before she could continue her tyrade he dissappeared, leaving the body behind him. Nynlata heard muffled voices from the top landing penitrate the door and seem to grow louder as they seemed to get closer. Nynlata let out a curse before grabbing a random vase before running out teh back of the shop. attempting to keep a cool composure as her heart pounded within her chest. She walked over to what looked like a bucket of water and washed what little blood splattered onto her clothing, all the while mumbling to herself. The "Black" as she called it was what she would decend into if she either changed too frequently or was caught offguard by either the smell or sight of blood. Nynlata had trained herself to resist the Black since the day it begun its constant pull in the depths of her mind. Nynlata wringed out the cloth that she had used to wipe herself clean all the while reminding herself to pay better attention in such a situation. With her clothes clean Nynlata set off down the streets, vase carefully carried under her arm. id need to wait for morning first before i could sell this thing.... she thought to herself as she unknowingly walked back towards the tavern that both she and Leonardo had first stumbled across.
  13. Nynlata lowered her neack as she watched the shopkeeper leave his shop for a moment, placing a sign on the door stating that it was closed for the rest of the day. Nynlata chortled "bit early to turn in isnt it?" she said to herself as she watched him step inside. A few moments went by before Nynlata jumped down from her perch and slinked up towards the back door. Looking through the keyhole, Nynlata deduced that the bottom section of the shop had already been closed off and the merchant had moved off to the higher levels with his family. Checking the streets to see that no one was watching, Nynlata procured her skeleton keys and began trying the lock, it being quite different to what she was used to. Nynlata growled as her clumbersone paws fumbled with the lock and after a few minuts she decided to shift herself back into her elven form. Nynlata shuddered after the change was complete ill never truly get used to that... she thought to herself. Nynlata picked up the keys and attempted to open the lock once more, this time being succsessful she opned the door quietly and crouched inside. On the second landing she could hear the merchant having some sort of argument with a female voice. Judging by his age Nynlata presumed it could probably be his wife. The shop was dark and filled with old relics, the shop itself had a scent of age to it, mixed in with that of polished wood. Nynlata stepped forward but froze as the light from a candle illuminated the top of the stairs, follwed by the bang of a door being slammed shut. "Who does that woman think she is! THIS is MY house! these are MY rules!" he continued to ramble as he came down the stairs, heading towards his precious antiques. Not knowing what else to do Nynlata dove under a table thats sides were closed off, making it a perfect hiding place. The shopkeeper wandered on aimlessly for a moment before going over each and every item he had, stating its age and price affectionatly as if they were teh love of his life rather than his family. Nynlata grinned thanks for the inventory gramps, now ill know just what to grab The shopkeeper wandered over to an odd looking orb and wheigted it in his hands, "Ah my beuty.... youve seen so many years havnt you? No, even if another comes in with enough coin to buy you i wont give you away... such fine craftsmanship..." As he rambled on Nynlata rolled her eyes. she had settled on the item of her choice, merely because of its sentimental value. Knowing this if she couldnt sell it to another she could randsome it back to the owner. Nynlata stepped out from under the desks and drew her blades, "Right then, enoughs enough mr crazy. Hand it over." she said as she pointed her blades towards the shopkeeper. He whipmered a moment before holding the orb close to his chest as he would an infant. "N...nn.. no!" he stuttred, backing away to the stairs. Nynlata tightned her grip on her blades and forced lightning through the conductive metal via her hands, a truly mennacing sight. OOC: leaving a gap here for potentially anything to happen *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink* :P
  14. Nynlata inconspicuously ducked into an alleyway the moment no one was looking in order for her to case the immediate area. After ahwile of moving through the backalleys and eyeing certain shops of intrest she slowed to a stop as the scent of antiques touched her nose. The smell was faint but certain, surely items of value. As she rounded the corner and slid back into the crowd Nynlata focused on the shop that the smell had origivated from. It was a rather narrow building that looked topheavy as a few stories rested atop the first, a common tell tale sign that the owners of the shop probably lived there. With a sly grin Nynlata procured her coin from her pouch and flipped it the the air, her grin widned slightly as she looked at it again once she had caught it. "Tales. My favorite." The actual meaning behind her flipping the coin was not only for luck (which she diddnt really beleve in anyway) But was rather for her method of entry. While Heads would be more subtle, Tails would be to cause some sort of chaos or mayhem, big or small. After her game of chance Nynlata found herself a quiet perch atop a tall wall nearby which she could watch the place for the perfect oppertunity and come up with some sort of plan if there was to be one. Nynlata looked towards the sky and attempted to tell how long it would be till sundown, Nynlata's most active hours.
  15. Nynlata was dissappointed at the lack of a reaction and turned to Leonardo for a moment, "Well, i guess thats that pln down the drain... I guess ill go to my," she cleared her throat, "First speciality aside burning buildings to the ground and running amoc in city streets. Theiving it is then." she said with a triumphant playfull grin on her muzzle. "Ill sniff you out tonight, see you after i try my hand at this city's goods."
  16. Nynlata sat on her haunches as she followed Leonardo's gaze to the other people in the area. "What am i going to do?" she said more as a statement than a question. "How bout something completely random thats likely to endanger some unfortunate soul, ally or enemy?" With that she got to her feet and cupped her hands around her snout, allowing her to project her words. "Mercinarry for hire!! Ask no questions Mercinarry for hire!!" knowing that in cyrodiil such a plublic display of a willingness to do wrong would likely call guards to chase her, Nynlata did it both as a test to the state of mind of the island and perhaps to weigh her chances in such a place. She looked back at leonardo, "If youre going to play it safe ill probably do the opposite." In the least Nynlata was hoping to cause a little trouble.
  17. Nynlata chuckled "Ive studied every map of Cyrodiil and lands that could be found outside her boarders. I too arrived by boat but im afraid to tell you youre a far way from home." she thought a moment and placed a paw on her chin as to emphasise her thought process, "I beleve that captain of the ship we were on a short while ago explained it to our little group before they departed. something about different islands that move around and come in contact with other realms or something like that.. diddnt catch much of it as i was kind of tailing them at the time." she shrugged "But i odnt know the specifics, might need to ask whoever it was were looking for to explain it in depth, not like its a facinating subject or anything... I mean if another realm such as dagon's oblivion could touch Cyrodiil its not surprising that this one can too."
  18. Nynlata nodded, "I knew." she said after letting out a short chortle "i was just wondering if you did is all" she added with a slight sarcastic tone to her voice. " I guess ill be sniffing them out then? Hmmn.... I wonder... what am i going to do to keep myself entertained once youve found passage to your home." she thought a moment before continuing ,"Is your relm any fun?"
  19. Nynlata stared at Leonardo blanckly for a moment, "youre not serious are you??...." she said whilst leaving a pause after her words, "I know im not fermiliar with the assassins here, and it my be no guide to go by i know, but the assassins in my plane of existance diddnt take too kindly to outsiders." she shrugged, "Buut if you want to drag us into a den full of bloodthirsty assassins be my guest." she chuckled. "Although, by what ive heard do far they do seem to be my kind of people. I got a good scent of them as they came by, i could search with those of similar scent and apperance. Goodness knows were not swimming all the way to go fetch them. Oh well ive got nothing better to do, " she said as she let out a broad grin, "And if theres a possible chance of mayhem along the way al the better."
  20. Nynlata couldnt help but let out a loud laugh <which in her current state sounded more like a rather odd yipping noise> "Give up? Hahaha!!! you make me laugh. Once a Redmoon takes on a hunt theres no going back." She streatched and cracked her paw like hands, her long claws meshing with each other with ease. As she did so a crack of lightning sparked forth and struck the ground at her feet. "Sure weve got no money, But there are other ways to get what you want. And actually.... We do have something of value to bargin with, the lives of who we talk to and the lives of their beloved. I know youre probably resenting my words," she said with a shrug before she playfully tapped him on the shoulder,"But what else did you expect from a thief slash bloodhound who worked for a guild of assassins? Besides, i'm sure youre strong enough to be a very intimidating person, catch my drift?" She chuckled bafore resting her hands on her twin blades. "Say the word and ill get sniffing."
  21. Nynlata looked around. a slight cautious look in her eye, her hulking wolf-like form larger than most men. Yet her form would stand out with most other werefolk because of her stature and odd structure as she was thinner. The Redmoon family trait was its leaner, taller form as well as its markings. Nynlata sided up beside Leonardo as he started to talk to the man, before quietly whispering in his one ear, "Careful..... most information comes with a price, and i doubt these people would take the coin we offer, if we even have." theres always the alternative..... she thought to herself [/i]Drag them behind a corner and beat them till they talk.[/i] she grinned at the thought but decided rather not to voice her idea. Suspecting Leonardo not the type.
  22. Nynlata nodded at Leonardo's request, "That i can, and my.... talent isn't as rare as you would think, but i digress, an inn would be simple to find. Now fnding one with people who are willing to give us the information we seek is a different matter. The people here seem well..... not uncaring but more disinterested than most." since they had started walking round the city she had been cyphering smells from the air, attempting to make a virtual map for herself, a map of scents and people. After a few moments of padding off into the street her ears locked forward and her head jerked in a northerly direction, "That seems to be a good direction." she wrinkled her nose slightly ,"Smells like sweat, boose, blood and cheap food. Definately a likely candidate. Follow me." After weaving through the streats for what seemed about a half hour they finally reached an old musty looking tavern, "After you" she said polightly yet with a slight tone of sarcasim in her voice ans she guestured her giant paws to the door and bowed her head slightly.
  23. Nynlata nodded without a hint of hesitation, "If we knew exactly where we were were going it wouldnt be fun now would it? Besides," she chuckled as she climbed off the railing to stand beside him, her furry figure much taller than an average human being, "i need someone to irritate and quite possibly drive to the brink of insanity. As for mu goals.... well i don't know. I don't really fancy going back to Cyrodiil, this place has a lot more going for it if you ask me. And assassins? i used to work for a bunch of them way back when. Odd folk that. Although... i always did kinda have a soft spot for them." she said with an added wolfish grin as she anticipated the journey to come. "feel free to ask for anything. any scent whatsoever, even that being of drunken old men that smell like beer and salt..... which might inevetably lead us to an inn no?" after her comment she followed Leonardo in complete silence.
  24. Nynlata paused a moment, "Indeed i am... As for knowing my way around this place im afraid youve lucked out.... Howeeeeverrr..." she said as she shifted her position on the railings, favoring a posture that seemed to tilt slightly to the right. "If you find a personal item or general scent id be able to sniff him out quite easily, granted he's been in the general area. I can double the distance of detection if theres a wound involved. Called me the Blood Hound back where i had come from... Although i doubt i have to state where as it dosnt really matter in this virtual mismach of lands. Enough of that.... point me in a direction and lets get moving. I'm not one to stay still for long." as almost to rectify her claim she had been shifting impatiently from side to side as she sat on the railings of the ship. Her attention, or lack there of, had shifted to that of the waters beside the boat, and their constant motion.
  25. Nynlata grinned, her eyes still set intently on those infront of her, "Assassins huh? always did kinda have a soft spot for their kind. Not knowing what to expect from the inhabitants of the island, Nynlata decided that a more intimidating figure was best suited for this occasion. As she sat on the railings her whole body began to change yet again, Back into the form that the others had first met her in. The transformation did not come without its tax, she knew now that it would be risky to change back for yet ahwile, or risk succumbing to the constant rage and bloodlust that came with her heritage. Once the change was complete she shook herself as a wet hound would to rid itself of water. "Much better" she said in a low voice, which could easily be mistaken for a growl. A few moments passed before she spun herself round on the railing to face Leonardo, half contemplating what he ment by Neverwinter. After concluding that it was his birthland Nynlata opned her long muzzle to speak, "Well i'm bored...Where you going?" she let loose a rough chuckle, " you never know out here, a hound might be useful no?" OOC: thanx for waiting guys, really appreciate it. i mean i know i have school and the whole timezone things a b**ch but still.
