  1. Hey guys and gals, Since christmas is drawing closer again and I've never really gone all out during that time when it comes to Skyrim modding, I want to do so this year. For most mods i'm pretty sure I can watch some old mod review videos and find some nice christmas mods, but something that I think will be harder to do, is finding slightly more modest outfits than usually get thrown in those videos. I don't mind a little sexy, I'm no prude, but I don't fancy them looking half naked all the time. The DOA one feels exatly right, but thats DOA, not Skyrim (I do know they also have a ribbon version so no, they are not the MOST subtle. I never claimed that either :P ). Thanks in advance people and if you have some other christmas mods you think are MUST HAVES then please share, I really wanna do it right this year, even if I'm not expecting to be able to play much :P Maybe exactly because of that.   3. Alright got it, will try that, thanks a ton! :D It sounds so simple. Sometimes the best solutions really are simple but you never realize it until someone spells it out, huh?
  4. Hmmm... well for convenience I would say the vanilla cure poison bottles are good enough. But because the poisons are kind of 'special', I would actually like a specific bottle to be needed for each one (every bottle being a little more expensive). Editing the vanilla cure poison, only if needed. If I can copy the effect and edit that for the new bottle(s) it should be fine.
  5. Good idea as the above unfortunately didnt work. I believe I either made a magic effect from scratch or copied TrapPoisonFFContactEffect. It was a long time ago, but I can send you a screenshot of the Magic Effect. I then attached the Magic Effect to an Enchantment (5 times for different strenghts of poison), the Enchantments to Explosions and the Explosions to Projectiles. Then finally the Projectiles to the Ammo/actual arrows. Here you can see them all: http://imgur.com/a/cnUzC
  6. Sorry to reply to this old post, but perhaps you can help me, too? The thing for me is that I have created poison effect that gets unleashed by arrows (via enchantments, explosions, etc) and it cannot get cured. How do I make sure I can cure it? Via formlist?   7. Hello everyone, Quite a while ago have I started a mod that gives bows improvements and arrows poison effects. However, even many updates later, I still don't know how to make the poison effect curable - drinking potions doesn't work. Only the dangerous 'dispelallspells' command. Recently a user told me it can be cured with a potion for example, if I edit a form list, or add a special keyword to the arrows (or poison effects themselves?). This use did not remember excatly and I have the CK open right now and can't find a formlist and can't find a keyword, so does anyone know how to make poisons curable? Thanks in advance, DiaborMagics
  8. Download speeds are fine. And today I downloaded a bunch of files and only 2 never moved from 0 bytes and only 1 refused to even appear (giving the error I described in the OP). It's strangely random. And I know I can download manually and point MO to it and Query the info, I described above that I do that if it fails. But that doesnt make it less annoying and strange. Im happy there is a workaround this way though, dont get me wrong.

  10. Hey guys, for the last 2 weeks I have been getting more and more failed downloads for Mod Organizer, with this message: Failed to request file info from nexus: empty response. I sometimes got it before, but not often, so it was no big deal. However, now it's becoming more of a continously occuring problem - is this because of MO or the Nexus? And how could I attempt to fix it? Just this afternoon I downloaded Campfire's new version fine, but a new version of the installer had been released and I hadnt run the old one yet, so I wanted to update it, but the new download refused to work. While Frostfall's did not. So I had to download manually, query info, etc and even though it's a small thing, it's really annoying. Especially when MO can't recognise the mod ID for some reason and crashes after my manually inputting it when prompted. Because that happened. I restarted MO and could query the info and put the mod ID just fine, but.... something does not feel right. Anyone any ideas? TL;DR - Mod Organizer "Failed to request file info from nexus: empty response" and a crash after downloading, querying info and inputting the mod ID when prompted.   13. Thanks ;) I remember not installing Vilja before because I wasn't as interested in how she looked but maybe I'll give her a spin so I do have my personal traveling bard. She seems to be able to sing, so thats indeed nice ;)
  14. Hey guys, I'm looking for some music on my travels. None of my followers can sing and using Tweak Make Follower from AFT on Bards does not allow them to sing when I take them with me. I'd also prefer some good singing, or the base songs that can get overridden by mods, because I did install a bard overhaul to change their songs. Especially 'The Dragonborn Comes' sang by female bards sounds amazing now. Maybe not 100% lore friendly, but I'll take it. So... does anyone have any bard/singing followers they like to use? cheers, DiaborMagics

Hello everyone, I'm wondering... have you ever walked into an inn using needs mods and rented a room, be it with or without realistic room rental (excuse me if I got that name wrong) and found yourself thinking 'hummm I can't take any of these items, that would be stealing, but... I paid for the room!' If you have, then you and I are the same in tha regard. I'm wondering if you know a way around it, be it with mods or roleplaying? Also, would it break a bard to cast AFT's Tweak Make Follower on them? I want music on the road - I know a few bards I'd like to take with me. I build camps and everything so it would be so nice...   16. I think it may have to do with Copy Armor (Transmogrify), in combination with ambient lighting: here's what I have posted there. Maybe someone knows? I have the full steel set (cuirass without pauldrons, cuffed boots, nordic gauntlets, horned helmet, steel sword). I copied the stats for the armor pieces + the shield to a new armor. Now, if I unequip everything I wear or have in my hands, my character turns completely black. If I equip even a weapon that has not been copied, as weapons cannot be copied, my character gets its color back. The character is only black if everything is unequipped, I believe it's especially about the hands, because wearing an armor but no weapon or shield still keeps my character black. Maybe the shield is the problem here? It also only stays black, when in interiors and when weapons are sheathed. Drawing weapons (actually raising hands, or drawing spells, as there is no weapon equipped) or going outside, makes the character get its color back. Sheating and going back inside again, makes the character black again. Picking up a weapon gives color back, but magic does not. I encountered this because I play with several characters in 1 savegame, thanks to respecs through bat files that are named after my characters. I switched to my mage and thus had no weapons equipped and now every time my mage is in an interior (I also mean this happens in dungeons) with weapons sheathed, this mage turns completely black. It would be great if this was somehow fixed, if the problem is indeed with this mod. I expect shields to be the culprit, but I would first like some confirmation. Starting a whole new game resulted in the same bug, so... it should be possible to replicate the issue, if it's indeed this mod. EDIT: new insight, it seems to only happen when ambient lighting hits 0. For me, that's in interiors, or at night. It happened to me at night while testing and turning off my ENB, Sharpshooters classic, fixed it. But since I want the ENB turned on, it's not really a fix?
  17. Hey guys, I track several mods and authors. Actually quite a large number of them. But some keep posting images that clutter up my notifications. Can I somehow disable the image notifications?   18. Hey guys, GRAPHICAL I just started a new playthrough 2 or 3 days ago and today something really strange started happening. I'm not using my own pc atm so I cannot show you a screenshot, but I can explain: my character turns black or invisible, more often black than invisible, when in an interior with weapons sheathed and not jumping. So when walking/running, haven't tried sprinting or I don't remember. Completely black. Armor, skin, hair, weapon. Like a shadow. Or completely invisible, no glow from an effect, just invisible. When I jump, during the time in the air the character is visible and when weapon or spell drawn, the character turns visible. And she is visible at all times in exteriors. First I thought it could be a copyarmor glitch, but unequipping armor did not help. Reloading an older save eventually made the blackness bug/invisibug show its face again. It's not VRAM, because once it starts happening, it starts from closing the game and re-opening it already. Nothing else in my game behaves this way. I have HDT hair and i know HDT followers and horses can disappear for a short while, but they dont behave like this and hiding the hair underneath a helmet does not work either. What could it be? The first few hours were 100% fine. Maybe a restart of my entire computer (so firing it up when I wake up) will fix it, but just in case I want to ask this before trying that. Maybe when I wake up the restart wont work and this thread will have an answer. STAMINA As for the stamina, I respec my characters using bat files, to be able to switch between characters and keep track of their individual skills, attributes, perks, etc. This is the first time I've done this, but my stamina got wonky when respeccing a lvl 11 to a lvl 1. Sometimes stamina shows up as much more than it should be and sometimes, often when going to another cell it drops to way to low. Yet other times it is correct. This went back and forth in the 1 - 2 hours I've been playing and happened during the same time I experienced the graphical bug (but no, not respeccing the character did not prevent the graphical bug). I used the player.setav stamina 100 command. No buffs other than 10 extra points in all stats magicka/health/stamina was applied. Magicka and health work correctly. Same commands used. Why could my stamina jump up and down after using the command? forceav only makes things worse, same goes for modav. Thanks and good night (morning) guys, DiaborMagics
  19. Of course I can survive without the command. But if I want to remember where I leave all my characters when switching for COC'ing manually, I will have to write them all down anyway. Would be nice if I could batch it like the rest. And nope, only coc doesnt work either. So I don't think it's going to work. The whole point of this is to leave characters I switch from where they are, so for example if A is in Jorrvaskr and B in Fort Dawnguard, then using coc for those locations in the batch file to switch to the correct place for the right person, would be excellent and more immersive to me. I plan to leave them all in their own go-to homes/guilds/etc before I switch, so that when I switch, I will find them where they 'belong'. Now I'll have to do it manually. Not a big problem at all, since I can still batch the vast majority, but it's a tad strange to me that it works this way, or rather, doesn't work this way. And I am still curious about if a solution to still batch it exists.
  20. Thanks for the suggestion. I did not think it would work, as whiterunorigin is a legit cell and I believe COC itself to be the problem. After trying it, I now for sure that just typing whiterun also crashes. It seems COC is just not a good idea. But I wonder how and if there would be a way around it.
  21. I found out that the problem is the COC command. It does everything else, but crashes at COC. Does anyone know why that is? I tested the save command and it saves properly and executes all other commands properly too, it just CTD's at COC. Why?
  22. Hello everyone, I have started a new game in which I intend to switch from character to character, respeccing them with batch files per character each time. To keep their skill/perk/stat/level/etc progress separate. Now... I tried one of my files and it instantly crashed my game. Tried it several times. It's a file called Vvalda.txt (named after one of the characters) and these are the commands in it: player.setlevel 1 player.setav health 100 player.setav stamina 100 player.setav magicka 100 player.forceav carryweight 300 player.setav onehanded 15 player.setav twohanded 15 player.setav marksman 15 player.setav lightarmor 15 player.setav heavyarmor 15 player.setav block 15 player.setav smithing 15 player.setav enchanting 15 player.setav illusion 15 player.setav alteration 15 player.setav destruction 15 player.setav restoration 35 player.setav conjuration 15 player.setav sneak 15 player.setav pickpocket 15 player.setav speechcraft 30 player.setav lockpicking 15 player.setav alchemy 15 player.removespell 000211EB coc whiterunorigin Obviously I will update the values once my characters grow, but after typing "bat vvalda", without quotes of course, the game hangs for a few seconds, then CTD's. The file is located in my Skyrim installation folder, so not in Data, nor in Mod Organizer/Mods/BatchFilesSomethingExampleBlaBla/ I should be good, right? All these commands...
