Then your ENB isn't working. I have an ENB checklist for Oldrim. Let me update it for SSE: ENB Check List (Skyrim Special Edition on Windows 10) If ENB is not working, then check these things: Make sure you have d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll from ENBseries, and install them to the Skyrim Special Edition main folder. Do NOT put them in Data, and don't install them with a mod manager.DELETE any d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe from your Skyrim Special Edition main folder. Those are for Oldrim (Classic/Legendary Edition).Make sure no overlays are running. That includes FPS/CPU/GPU meters, RivaTuner Statistics Server, MSI Afterburner OSD, Nahimic, Razer overlay, anything with "OSD" in the name, etc. Steam overlay is fine though.Disable "Xbox Game Bar/DVR" in Windows 10.Make sure you're using the recommended version of ENB for the preset you're using, or at least something close. You can try the latest version of ENB after you get that working. The latest version may have newer features or changes that the preset isn't tuned for.Don't use ENB presets made for Oldrim. Oldrim ENBseries has a different feature set from SSE. Even if it works, it probably won't look the same.Install ENB Helper SE if your ENB preset supports different weathers. It's an SKSE plugin, so you'll need to install that for it to work.Do NOT use enbhelper.dll. That's for Oldrim too.Try turning off your antivirus/firewall temporarily. If either of the DLLs vanish mysteriously, it's because of antivirus.Edit: Removed tip to install DirectX 9. Not needed for SSE.

SSE Help me edit an existing NPC. PLEASE.
Grospolina replied to Katarsi's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
I just wanted to point out that this is not true. The Creation Kit will never update the BSA archive (containing the assets). You have to do that manually yourself using the Archive.exe tool or an external program. What happens is that the CK generates a FaceGen mesh (NIF) and tintmask (DDS), which will be loose files. Loose files always override files inside a BSA, so that was probably what you were seeing. Simply deleting the loose files would've fixed it, unless you also modified the ESP (it sounds like you did). Reinstalling the mod would fix it in that case. Additionally, Recorder's face mesh is custom made, so just regenerating it with the CK won't work. You would need to use something like NifMerge afterwards in order to get her face to look right. The Oldrim version of Recorder has the option of a BSA version or loose files version - only one of these is required. The SSE version only comes as a BSA, and that's fine. If you want to fix some bugs in Recorder (including her not taking back her files), then you can try my Recorder - Bugfix Patch SSE mod. I designed it so that it can be inserted in the middle of a playthrough. There are dialogue options to fix certain bugs, and you can read the Description page to find out how (too many to list here). -
So I want to ask about porting mods

Can't wait for Skyrim 80th Anniversary Edition for this to happen. We're a tenth of the way there! -
That may fix the cart issue for you, but it may be an indicator of further problems. Typically, stuff flying around randomly or hanging around frozen in midair means problems with physics. The Havok physics engine is dependent on a framerate of 60 fps. If the framerate goes over that, then the engine explodes because it updates faster than it should. There are two ways to fix this issue: Change [HAVOK] fMaxTime (in seconds) to a value that corresponds to your framerate. e.g. 60 fps -> 1/60 = 0.0166 Cap your framerate to 60 fps.Since you probably want to play at a higher framerate, you can try the mod (SKSE64) Havok Fix. It dynamically changes your fMaxTime to correspond to current framerate. The alternative would be to set it permanently in Skyrim.ini to correspond to your maximum framerate. Otherwise, you can cap your framerate at 60 fps. There are various ways to do this. ENB can handle it, or you can use an external program. Turning on VSync can work if you have a 60 Hz monitor, but I don't think that it works in borderless windowed mode.

Does Shift+Enter open the config menu? When the Bethesda logo appears at startup, does it say anything about ENBseries in the top-left corner? If neither of these work, then ENB isn't working at all.

enbseries.ini is a file that comes with every ENB preset. It sounds like you aren't using one. If you want to use it without an ENB preset, then just ignore that instruction.

My character goes invisible when i go indoors.
Grospolina replied to ItzJustClancy's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Are all of these plugins enabled? Because you have Vividian, Opethfeldt, T.A.Z. Visual Overhaul and Tamriel Reloaded, which all come with ENBs. Not saying that they won't work, but the at the very least, the weathers probably conflict. Also: You have RaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.esp, but don't have USKP or USLEEP installed. Either disable it or install USLEEP.If you're using MMDAnimeRace for your character then I'd suspect that. You could start a new game as a vanilla race to test if it still happens.Skyrim Flora Overhaul and Enhanced Vanilla Trees definitely shouldn't be used together.Unique Grasses and Verdant are both grass mods and shouldn't be used together.Pure Waters and Realistic Water Two are both water mods and shouldn't be used together. You only need to enable some of the Realistic Water Two ESPs, not all of them. The three HighResTexturePack ESPs should be as high as possible in your load order.SMIM should be much higher as well. The Bashed Patch should be at the bottom. -
No problem. Here are the default key values for enblocal.ini: [INPUT] KeyCombination=16 KeyUseEffect=123 KeyFPSLimit=36 KeyShowFPS=106 KeyScreenshot=44 KeyEditor=13 KeyDof=118 Check yours to see if it matches. Some ENB presets authors change them for whatever reason. KeyCombination=16 is the Shift key. KeyUseEffect=123 is the F12 key. KeyEditor=13 is the Enter key.

It seems strange, but it's not an issue. Apparently, FoxRace "00109C7C" is the default race and many NPCs use it. It's probably just the default template and doesn't have anything special associated with it. Not sure why it's named that way.

I've tried to redirect people to the right forum before, but quickly got sick of it so I just accepted it. It doesn't help that: Many people don't know that there are two separate forums. Many people don't know that LE and SE are different games.Sometimes Oldrim mods work on SE, and the cause isn't always obvious when it doesn't work.Skyrim is listed at the top of the site forums, and Skyrim Special Edition is listed in the middle.

I wouldn't change the AA settings in the NVIDIA control panel. If you want to disable antialiasing, then turn it off in the Skyrim Launcher (don't run the SKSE launcher). Sometimes ENB presets come with SMAA (a different method for antialiasing), so it may be a good idea to not have two forms of AA running. If you want to turn off SMAA for performance, then it's often found in [ENBEFFECT.TXT]. You should be able to open the ENB config menu using Shift+Enter. That's the easiest way to tell if ENB is working. Shift+F12 should toggle the effects on/off, and is usually very noticeable. Note that these keys can be changed through enblocal.ini. You can experiment by turning off various effects in the ENB config menu. As previously mentioned, Ambient Occlusion is a framerate killer. Skylighting is another that you may want to try. If you want to keep your changes, then hit "Save Configuration".

OP is on Special Edition, not LE. To make sure that SKSE64 is up to date, always get it form the official SKSE site. You should get "Current SE build 2.0.17 (runtime 1.5.97)" (press F5 if it's showing an old version). It was updated only a week or two ago, so there may be some SKSE mods that haven't been updated yet. You can look for any mods that contain a DLL file in the Data\SKSE folder and try to disable those to check. Check the Data tab in MO, or search through the MO mods directory. They won't appear in the actual Skyrim folder since you're using MO. The small part of the MO log showing in your screenshot shows that you tried to run SkyrimSE.exe and not skes64_loader.exe. What happens when you run skse64_loader? Does it show the Bethesda logo?

Skyrim SE wont save my graphic settings
Grospolina replied to gabrielpetit's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Try to regenerate your INI files. Go to Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition and rename both Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini to something else. Run the Skyrim Launcher (just run normally since you said that you got rid of SKSE) and it should make new INI files. You can also try running BethINI. -
Buy the game.

Black Face When Using Any NPC Replacer in SSE
Grospolina replied to DickyDee's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It doesn't matter. Any change to an NPC record has the potential to cause the dark face bug. For instance, the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch shouldn't change any faces, yet it contains many FaceGen meshes because of fixes to NPCs. -
Simple method for Oldrim: Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your Skyrim\ main folder (NOT Data). Open skse_1_07_03.7z using 7-zip. Double-click skse_1_07_03 in 7-zip to go into the folder. Drag all files into Skyrim\ in Windows Explorer. (Optional) Delete the src folder because you won't need that. Always launch the game by running skse_loader.exe.Even simpler method for Oldrim: Just run the installer: skse_1_07_03_installer.exe.Simple method for SSE (pretty much the same as Oldrim): Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your Skyrim Special Edition\ main folder (NOT Data). Open skse64_2_xx_xx.7z using 7-zip. Double-click skse64_2_xx_xx in 7-zip to go into the folder. Drag all files into Skyrim Special Edition\ in Windows Explorer. (Optional) Delete the src folder because you won't need that. Always launch the game by running skse64_loader.exe.There are methods for installing the scripts as a mod in your mod manager in order to keep your game directory a little cleaner, but really, I'm always going to have SKSE installed. The scripts are NOT optional.

Black Face When Using Any NPC Replacer in SSE
Grospolina replied to DickyDee's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thanks for posting the pictures. They do help. What do you mean "after doing exporting" with Kallies NPCs? Why are you exporting? Exporting doesn't always fix faces, since the FaceGen meshes (NIF) might be custom-made. The CK will only rebuild the faces from the face data in the ESP (morph sliders, eyes, brows, hair, etc.). What does it look like if you use the original files? I can see from your Bijin screenshot that Ysolda does have the dark face bug and that her face shape is wrong, but her hair is correct. This tells me that it's not loading the FaceGen mesh from a different mod. Also, that the hair and body textures are installed correctly. For some reason, it's not matching with her NPC record. If you check your Plugins tab, is Bijin Wives.esp enabled there? What ESPs are below it? -

Thoughts: Are you using both RaceMenu and ECE? They don't work very well together. What other appearance mods do you have? Custom head mesh maybe? Is it only on a certain save, or does it happen on a new game too?Are you using a RaceMenu preset? If so, is it a NIF, or a JSLOT file?Does it get fixed if you change your character weight? In the console (~), either type "showracemenu" or "player.setnpcweight xx" where xx is a weight from 0 to 100.

No read/write permission for game data path! Bodyslide issue
Grospolina replied to sourfries35's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Have you tried running MO2 as admin? Obvious but, also check the settings in BodySlide. You could also try holding Ctrl while you press Build in order to write them to your current working directory and then move them where you like. -
I know that the Oldrim launcher will check for Steam Workshop mods and download them, but SSE has the Creation Club instead and probably checks them after loading the game. I don't know what either of them do in offline mode, so I can't confirm anything. Hence, I gave other options.

The usual way is to launch through the Skyrim Launcher and NOT through SKSE. The launcher window is where you set those options. Otherwise, you can see just the resolution (e.g. 1920x1080) in SkyrimPrefs.ini > [DISPLAY] section > iSize W and iSize H. The ultra, high, medium, low profile settings just change various settings in SkyrimPrefs.ini. It doesn't keep track of which one you picked. You can always use BethINI to use their recommended settings, which I think are better anyway.
