Who do you think this will hurt the most? Most likely the modders that rely on 3rd party assets to create mods and those that use them.. There is already much more greed on the Nexus than any other modding site.. They introduce a money pool to certain users then you better believe that many of those modders that once shared their work to be used in other peoples projects will clamp down and stop giving permission in hopes to gain more of the money pool for themselves.. It would definitely stun the growth of the modding community and make it so only a very few will benefit while the rest will lose interest and move on..

So basically the Nexus will decide who is rewarded in this elite group of modders? One thing us Americans hate the most is when others create elitist groups and give them what they want while crapping on the rest of the people. I'm absolutely certain when all is said and done this will drive away American users.

Anyone else not able to view the Nexus on mobile since the website update? Since the update the website has been incredibly slow to load on desktop and I give up trying to view the site on mobile.. It just hangs forever.. It's so bad that I decided it's best not to renew my subscription until they can tweak it to perform better.

so is the issue with the top hot mods being hidden on mobile from the top of the page and on the trending tab going to be addressed?

Using this site on the phone at the moment and it's not a good experience.. it's very slow but even more troubling only two of the front page mods show on my phone and the other 3 are hidden from both the front top if the page and more trending tab.. that really sucks.. to be honest the new site is nice on desktop but the old site works much better on mobile.. it's too frustrating to view the new site on mobile and I'm using high speed wifi at the moment..

I love it now lol... although publishing a mod got a bit confusing with tags and adding images but other than that it's good..

it's good.. I guess it's not as bad as I mentioned earlier.. :)

made a poll in my facebook group, so far 32 prefer the old and 4 prefer the new site.. curious anyone else run any polls?

In response to post #54732313. 470 games and only about 10% of those games have more than a 100 mods available for them.. Most have under 10 mods available.. Many have Zero mods available... As for my game Skyrim which is also the Nexus most popular game, most of the newer popular modders don't publish on the Nexus.. Team Tal, Ravendier, Dint.. as well as some old modders Halo, Pero, Robo etc... So yes people are looking elsewhere for mods because many modders don't want to publish on the nexus anymore... Also your stats don't tally in how many people are inactive on the site..

In response to post #54731743. maybe because more and more people are looking for mods on other sites other than the nexus and they thought this would win back those users? People just want a download link to the mods and don't care so much how cool the website looks

It's like the Windows Vista of web Designs.. I'll stay with xp and wait for win 7 or win 10 of web design.

It looks nice at first sight but new published mods get lost fast in the mix, no hotfiles.. newly published mods are getting less hits..Overall, I'm not a fan of it.. I hope you keep the old site up. The old site is much easier to navigate through.. I especially like the old sites category feature for top files, newly released top mods etc.. this new site is just extra clicking to get to what I like..

Was this copyright infringement over the copyrighted songs that appeared in every video of his, or something else? Your post has made me legitimately curious. No, the copyright had nothing to do with copyrighted songs. The copyright claim was brought by Ashes2Asherz himself over a single little picture he had given permission to prior and also one of his friends MightyNine who had given him permission to use his armor, but apparently, they revoked it. This all started over a petty little war in a Facebook group and they ganged up on him to take his youtube channel down. Now, Ashers2Asherz is bringing his little war to the Nexus. Again not true... this is what ripx been saying but even admitted he was wrong.. So can the two of you stop harassing me already.. All I was doing was responding to a post.. I didn't attack anyone here... and the two of you ganged up on me.. not very nice!

This is not true.. Where is your proof that I had his YT shut down? I know he's accused me of it but it's just not true.. I am not the reason he had his youtube channel shut down. But I am harassed daily because of it.

The reason this guy is pushing vidme so hard is because his youtube account has been banned, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs6RGhIXb1FfZOjntqs7jzg This is what it reads on his old YT channel. "This account has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted." The Nexus staff works hard to keep copyright claims to a minimum so why in the world would they be willing to open the gates to allow copyright violators to post vidme videos all over their site?

This isn't meant to be sarcasm, it's a serious question. There is a mod I am trying to report for assets but when I click submit it doesn't seem the report goes through. Is this a known issue or should I be using another method rather than the submit button from the report tab on the mod page to file a report? thanks!

vidme is awful, filled with clickbait, bots and copyright infringements. It's just a matter of time before vidme is smacked with lawsuits.. The people of the Nexus have worked hard to keep their content free of such things... It's partly because of that which makes the Nexus great. It'll be a sad day if they ever supported embedding of such a video website like vidme.
