  1. I recommend disable all mods below USSEP, and use a guide to get Skyrim SE running smoothly before you start adding mods. See my signature for my preferred guide, STEP, which is for Olrim but I easily adopt it to SSE. Just a wild guess, but try running SkyrimSELauncher.exe once as administrator. Let it initialize your configuration. Also I would switch to Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex instead of NMM, since you're going to be using lot of mods. I prefer MO.
  2. Maybe you removed a mod that provided some gear in your inventory? If so, I would add the mod back temporarily, then place the gear from that mod in an empty barrel. Then bring up the console, target the barrel, and type 'removeallitems'. Save the game and exit, disable the mod, and try inventory again.
  3. I think BethINI initially loads the current game configuration, and then overloads it with the selected presets. If this is true, it's annoying the second time you launch bethini after you finished tweaking everything just so. You could just copy your game's config over to bethini's preset to make it behave the way you think it should. I'd like to have an option to disable that behavior, a checkbox to stop loading presets and only show my configs in the Bethini gui.
  4. My save files grow in size when I've been very busy, visiting many different places, benging on side quests, leaving copses everywhere, going without sleep, etc. To reduce the size I cool my jets in a player home. Sleeping for 3 or 4 days in a row seems to reduce my saves. I guess some data expire after some amount of time, so they're eventually removed from saves.
  5. Nothing wrong with asking here, it's just that very few people will see the question. I suggest posting your problem in the right place so that more experts are likely to see it. I would go back to the top of this forum, and create a new topic. Or, just click here to create a new topic.
  6. Great advice from sopmac45.. I would add my advice: when you have a stable game after using a guided baseline, make a backup. I prefer the STEP guide as my baseline (link in my signature block). Using whichever guide you prefer, I would disable all mods and start from the beginning, and backup everything when your game is stable.
  7. If you installed the updated SSE and SKSE, I would restore the old version until mods have been updated for it. If you re-installed before the update (SSE 1.5.39, SKSE 2.0.7), I would reinstall XP skeleton and choose the physics rigmap for cbp. If you use a mod manager, you may need to move xpmsse below any mods that have skeleton mesh. If no mod manager, install xp last after any other body meshes. When you run GenerateFNISForUsers, are there any warnings? I would fix them all.
  8. It could be memory, skse settings, or video/enb settings. I think it's not likely to be a mod causing this kind of crash, but doesn't hurt to check and prevent other crashes. I would use Wrye Bash to show problems with missing or unsorted masters, as well as load order. Launch WB and just click ok with all mods selected, and then rearrange or fix every plugin until they're all green. Use TESVEDIT to sort masters if you need to do that to plugin. LOOT is fair for catching obvious load order problems at first, but not great for a large number of mods. I found that once I had taken the time to edit all the meta data in LOOT, I've learned how to sort mods myself on the fly. I haven't used LOOT in a long while.
  9. That's an awful lot of script errors in less than a minute. I don't think any of those caused a cell ctd, but still I would disable mods that have bad scripts. It may be deleted nav meshes. If you haven't cleaned masters, I would use this guide. I've encountered some SSE mods that cause ctd entering a cell because they haven't converted textures to SSE format with a tool like SMCO.
  10. " "DynDOLOD requires PapyrusUtil 3.3" among several errors that I can't solve, yet. I've restored SSE 1.5.39 and SKSE 2.0.7 from backup, and disabled updates for now.
  11. Does GenerateFNISForUsers give any warnings or errors? Wrye will help some, show which mods need to have masters sorted. Personally I wouldn't bash patch with so few mods, less than 100. I would move XPMSE plugin to the bottom of your list, and (more importantly) make sure nothing is clobbering the skeleton. I use MO instead of NMM, so I don't how to describe sorting mod folders in NMM.
  12. It looks like the skin in the vanilla armor or armor replacer mod doesn't quite match UNP skin for that particular armor she's wearing. I would get a different armor replacer. In SSE I use UNP Armor and Clothing Replacer, which is a bundle of nice UNP armors. It has an huge amount of options, which take several minutes to choose when I go through the guided installation. I looked and couldn't find it in Oldrim mods. Edit to add: Found it here
  13. Frickin hilarious. Skse is here. Yes, there's no update yet.
  14. No, that is deceptive. This the second or third time you attacked me simply because I disagree with your opinion. And it's also the second time you played the victim with more personal attacks.
  15. Which tells me I should be skeptical of your guide and your advice. Do you get paid to be Wrye Bash's fan boy or something? You're implying that I have problem, and that is false, and everything you said is false because all your assumptions are based on false premise. Well, I will take a look at your guide because I'm genuinely interested. However, I am skeptical and I prefer mator smash. Mator does everything WB does and more.
  16. That's true for me. I have less than 10 follower mods so far. I wonder if it isn't too much trouble, could some of you experts post which follower mods have big problems, like replacing core game elements?
  17. I would hold off using that mod until it's been updated for SSE and all the bugs worked out. Reading the posts on that mod page, there are lots of complaints.
  18. It's odd for vanilla SSE to do that. Maybe one of your mods? There may be over 100 SE mods that affect shouts. I would try disabling mods until I found which one.
  19. THAT is NOT the bashed patch from Wrye, that is something totally different. the bashed patch from Wrye is named Bashed Patch, 0.esp not what that file is named No, he doesn't have to use Wrye to create a merged patch. In fact there are other programs that do everything WB does and more. Cheerleading for WB isn't really helping solve the problem, my opinion.
  20. No, I would only use one mod manager. I haven't used NMM in a long time. f NMM doesn't allow changing the install order, I would switch to MO. I prefer MO because it uses flexible virtual folders, and it allows me to arrange the mod install order separately from the plugin order. Well yes but textures are on everything you see including female body, and the female body textures are causing the female skin to look blocky.
  21. There's bashed patch there in plain sight at the bottom of the list, but it may be getting pushed out. I would disable or merge some mods to bring the number down to 250 or so.
  22. Maybe update Realistic Water Two? There was a bug in RW2 that caused a CTD near Wizard's Vale. Dawnguard...vamipires...I don't know. But the latest update fixed a cell CTD for me.
  23. Yeah that's the same error I get from Firefox when MO isn't registered to handle NXM. In another thread about this error, this seemed to work for some folks using NMM. 1. Close NMM 2. Run NMM as admin 3. Go to settings 4. Uncheck and recheck the Associate with NXM URLs
  24. "...FOMod\Thin (something) Trimmed Brows.png" Is that a weird character in the filename? It looks like an old division symbol. If so that's probably causing it to throw. I would try to download and extract it manually, with 7zip for example.
