Where to find key mapping in CK?
hlp replied to amokrun1's topic in Fallout 4's Creation Kit and Modders
None. That is inside the game binary. Use F4SE to make modifications. -
The changelog is inside the zip, and it is a bug fix to skse64 mostly. No reason NOT to update from
-
Microsoft announced support for modding if the editor are ok with it. It should be mentioned on the game page if it is modable officially.

Cleaning Master Files -> Breaking Precombines?
hlp replied to Grasmann's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Yes, because one random poster on the internet opinion is more important than decades of practice by the community! -
They update the exe because they add native script functions; There is no way to add native script functions without modifying the EXE.

Why would they do away with the F4SE installer version?
hlp replied to SirGalahad's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Probably not all of the maintainers can generate the installer or it takes time that is not available at the moment. It usually shows up a few days later. -

So they were point blank asked about that and went on record to the contrary, all future plans for Fallout, TES and Starfield are for Single player games. And yet everybody who demanded they answer that exact question are now dismissing the answer pretending it is only "damage control".

That's not possible. 0.6.9 expects 1.10.89. If the message says it expects 1.10.82 then you are running 0.6.7
-
The latest is 0.6.9 . Refresh the web page to see it  Thank you for the fix by the way.

Help with FO4Dump exclusions options
hlp replied to boozehoundblue's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I am pretty sure they did work when I was working on them the last time around but that was a long time ago and I haven't tried since. Could you create a bug report on GitHub ? Hopefully I'll find some time to check this. https://github.com/TES5Edit/TES5Edit/issues
