Ohhhh man. Bethesda's at it again. I'm excited! They should make a steampunk dlc! If you don't know what steampunk is, get a load of this. http://www.ministryofpeculiaroccurrences.com/what-is-steampunk/

I like the deathclaw picture.

I've always wondered how modders would deal with the player voice system if they were making new mods that involved speaking to other characters, like quest or companion mods. You're probably right, players will have to go voiceless unless people are comfortable with having different voice-actors voicing their character. But it would still be very immersion breaking if your character had one voice but then had a different voice whenever they talked to their companion. I wonder if it would be possible if Bethesda could make some sort of voice system that uses the voice of the voice actors so that they could be used by modders to create voiced dialogue that sounds similar to the main character's. But that sounds too complicated to even achieve, so you will probably have to go voiceless.

I was hoping to be a bard or something, but I guess this is okay.

If you use AFT (Amazing Follower Tweaks) you can tell her to turn into a vampire lord or any other companion that you have turned into a volkihar vampire.

Okay, so I like to mod skyrim a lot, but I've installed a few extra mods lately. After installing these mods, I would find that armors, weapons, trees and a other variety of things would randomly lose their textures and turn all purple and pepto-bismol pink. To put the cherry on top of it all, I would begin to walk around and after ten minutes or so, poof! The game magically turns off and sends me to the desktop so fast that I don't even have a second to think. I've looked up the problem and I think it has something to do with memory. I do find that if I deactivate a couple of mods that are particularly powerful or inconsequential it clears up the problem well, but I would like to be able to wave around my super-shiny katana around. Do you guys have any idea what the problem might be? If it has something to do with memory, could someone give a solution that could help to extend the memory of skyrim?

That sounds like a really cool idea. I always enjoyed it when bethesda made dlc that added lots of new and refreshing content like new landmasses, gear and npcs. Maybe they should also try making a motorcycle dlc that lets you repair and ride them around, so that you can move around faster without fast traveling everywhere.

I think that Bethesda should also fix a little bit of the AI pathgrids, because when I build a bar or a building that I think an NPC would use I find that after the hour I've used building something I find that I have to carefully watch the NPCs to make sure that they can get inside. If they can't, I have to make changes to stuff that I could move over or through with ease just so the NPCs can move over or through it too.

I like GOG a lot better than steam, and I also liked it when you could just go out to stores and buy a physical copy of the game and install it off the disk. The first time I ever encountered a steam game was with Skyrim. I had bought a copy of the game from Future shop when it was still around and I went to install it but found out it wanted me to register with Steam. I did so, and found that my game took three days to download. The disc is pretty much useless if they wanted me to download the game off their site, and the installation process would have been much faster with the disk. I think steam should try to find a way to decrease their download times or make registration optional if you buy a physical copy of a game that is on steam. Another problem that I found is that I like to go shopping for older games at thrift stores like the goodwill, salvation army, value village, etc and I'll find a second-hand copy of a valve game like half-life 2 or left 4 dead. I'll pick it up and be like "Oh gee, I heard this is a good game, I think I'll just buy this so I can take it home and play it." So I go and pay like 5$ for the game and then I take it home and discover that it is a steam game. So I hope that it's activation code can be used again or hasn't been used, but then it turns out it's only a one-time activation. So I go on steam and see if I can buy another copy of the game and it turns out it's like 20$ just to buy a second copy of the game. I think the lesson learned here is that you should never donate your gently-used copies of steam games or buy second hand, physical copies of steam games.

We are living in a dark dystopian future. Public washrooms have time limits and forcibly eject you from the washroom when the time is up.

Yeah, I suppose so.

Personally, I would say that Fallout 4 is a CRPG since it nearly meets like 97 or 98% of the prerequisites for one.

I looked up the Bioshock town in Fallout 4 and it looks really good, but surely people are doing things that pertain to quests and exploring as well?

I think you may be right. Settlement DLC packs *are* probably what they are going to do. They must think that all us gamers are just hanging around settlements building stuff all the time, but I don't believe that's the case with everyone. I made a second character who was supposed to be evil, and since I had already played though the game with my first character and got used to the settlement building thing, I just didn't start doing all those things. My character became a vagabond living in the middle of nowhere and then moving from place to place, doing the odd job for people and searching for her son. She wasn't all that evil though, since she earned the respect of Nick Valentine. But I think you guys get the point. What I would like though is some DLC with some more heavy-duty role-playing options, and maybe some more stuff to do with companions.

That sounds insanely beautiful. Seeing snow in the fallout universe sounds like a refreshing change. Now I have a craving for some fine maple syrup.

I couldn't agree more. I hope Bethesda looks at forums or something, because they don't seem to be thinking up all these good ideas. Probably had to make space for all the textures and models and voice-acting. I wonder why they didn't just release the GECK at launch, because It would be fun to jump right into the modding. Perhaps they have not created it yet.

I heard that Bethesda might release a dlc next year, but that they're not sure about what it could be. I would like some dual-wielding dlc made.

For a little while recently I've been thinking about what kinds of dlc Bethesda could make for Fallout 4. What if they could make a dlc that creates the ability to dual-wield melee weapons and guns? I've also thought about how Asia would look in a post-apocalyptic world. Take Japan for instance. Would they have an order of ghoul samurai or just regular samurai that defends the land from dangers? Kinda like the brotherhood of steel but alot different. They also just need to make some sort of steampunk dlc, or dlc that expands the relationship that you can have with your companions. What kinds of ideas do you guys have?
