  1. I'm pretty sure people have suggested this before, but, it would be pretty cool if there was a standing vampire bite animation. I use the LTD Vampire Overhaul and I very much enjoy it, but there is an aspect of the mod where you have the ability to bite an npc and drain them of blood while standing or in combat, instead of the vanilla way where you could only bite a person while they were sleeping. Unfortunately, an animation for these standing bite actions was never created and the current animation is the self casting animation. This does not bother me all that much, but I feel its a shame that the the mod developer was unable to, or did not have the time to implement such an animation.
  2. For Oblivion and Skyrim, I originally always downloaded and manually installed all my mods, because I was hesitant to use mod managers like NMM. After a while I downloaded OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) for installing Oblivion mods. I never looked back. For an Oblivion mod managing utility I personally would recommend this program to anyone very highly. The Oblivion Mod Manager is pretty handy because it can do it's own archive invalidation, detect conflicts between mods and report them, allow the user to modify the load list of their mods, and a variety of other useful tasks. For Skyrim I downloaded NMM, which is pretty good, it's fairly simple to use and can also connect with your nexus account. That's just my suggestion for using a mod manager for each of the games.
  3. I've noticed that Oblivion Reloaded also makes Oblivion Reloaded save games, similar to obse saves. They linger after you have uninstalled, so if all else fails try deleting the save games that end in the .or extension after you have uninstalled, and see if your game can start. I have the latest version of Oblivion Reloaded and have found this problem after trying to uninstall. I have not tried this method, so it might not work so be sure to back up the saves. If this does not work then just reinstall the game. That's what I did.
  4. You start a new game and that's how you start your journal, describing how you got into cyrodiil or the imperial jail and the sequence of events that followed. You then just run off exploring the countryside, recording the events of each and every day, such as who you met, what companions you grouped up with, the quests you're on, and the shenanigans you engage in. I suppose that would provide an interesting literary experince or fan-fiction if you decided to release your char's journal for people to read. But that's just an idea I thought up a few days ago while playing oblivion. You guys can totally do that if you want to, but what do you guys think?
  5. Have you ever wanted to sweep your enemies from existence? Now you can with this mod I found on moddb called Broom Of Death. http://www.moddb.com/mods/broom-of-death
  6. Like mods that don't make sense, or are unheard of.
  7. I think that the mods for this particular game you are referring to were migrated from File Front becuase it has been shut down. I believe that bots are used for the migration, hence the reason they are all uploaded at the exact date and time. I could be wrong.
  8. So I'm kinda bored, and curious. Are there any really obscure oblivion or little known oblivion mods out there? Also weird mods too. If you guys have any thoughts or find anything just post it here or something. But please no NSFW stuff or sexual stuff please. I'm just really bored and wanna talk about something intriguing.

  10. Specifically, how does it crash? Does it show a error message, or does the game stop and crash to the desktop abrubtly without any error messages?
  11. Damn, this looks good. I am very excited to see this mod when it is released.
  12. I made a new character and instead of going and talking to Nick Valentine in Diamond City, I just headed straight for Goodneighbor. You can start a misc quest in The Memory Den in which you can use the memory loungers to relive the scene where your char's spouse was killed and Shaun was taken. The lady then tells you to see Nick Valentine anyway, though. I thought that was pretty interesting. Also, if you remember where Nick Valentine is when he is being held captive by Skinny Malone and head directly there without talking to his secretary I think there is a slightly different dialogue when you rescue him.
  13. Sorry about that. I haven't updated FO4 recently but I guess it would be wise not to if I value my modded experience.
  14. Did you get the latest update? I have heard that people have been having some horrible problems with mods because of this.
  15. Damn. If this is true, I'm not gonna update my game until Bethesda fixes this. Bethesda games are known for their massive modding communities and mod friendliness. They shouldn't change that.
  16. radioactive maple syrup guns. GENIUS!
  17. I totally agree. Fallout 4 needs more quests. One thing I find about FO4 is that there is all this area to explore and eye candy with the beautiful graphics, but once you've completed the main quest and a handful of side quests that are not repeatable 'save the settlement quests' all I find is "meh". If you look closely, aside from the main quests, there are only a handful of side quests that are unique. I find myself going back to Beth's older titles like Oblivion, Skyrim, FO3 because there is much replayability value with the amount of factions, side quests and just... loads of stuff to do.
  18. That sounds like a good idea. But what if your character got shot in the throat and survived, but was permanently mute so he\she would have to use sign language? It would solve the voice acting problem and enable the character to speak, in a way. You could put subtitles in if you don't know sign language. It sounds kinda complicated and someone would have to probably create an entire system that made the animations and stuff. You would probably also have to come up with a plausible explanation as to why the sole survivor knows sign language, though.
  19. You're right. Making video games is an art form. I have experienced some of the most beautiful stories and ideas from a video game.
  20. And then you will have mutant dinosaurs that spit fire and acid.
