I've also been able to solve the texture loading problem, for some reason the VideoMemorySizeMb had to be set to 4096 specifically, which is weird because I have much more RAM than that.

Alright, so I manged to fix the fps issues, it was a mod, but I'm still having long load times and low res textures.

I don't think ENB Boost is working for me. I installed version .283 from the website (http://enbdev.com/download_mod_fallout4.htm) and made VideoMemorySizeMb=10000 as I have 16 gb of ram and was able to get the text with the mod authors name to show up at the start screen. However, my game still takes forever to load, feels like a slide-show in the city, and keeps having textures render in VERY low resolution. I'm at my wits end, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I haven't installed any serious texture mods, just some Vivid Landscape mods that mostly effect the wilderness where I don't have as many problems.

I notices recently that a lot of NPCs wouldn't actually fight me and just ran around crouching making snarly faces at me. When I went to loot them I would see that they would have a weapon equipped as well as ammo to use it. I haven't played since around the release, what are the best mods to make the game look better and play better?

I was wondering whether a mod that improves the Lucky 38 penthouse exists or could be made. it wouldn't really need any special assets, the ones from the base game and DLC would be more than enough. I would love to see things like the sink autodoc or the sierra madre hologram security system be implemented. I should add that I am fully aware of the existence of the Lucky 38 Reloaded mod, and its good but I want a mod that specifically changes the cell of the penthouse.

What I would like to see is Bethesda hosting a modding contest where the community votes on mods which they would like to see get the full backing of the studio, essentially turning them into paid DLC with royalties to the author. The mod would go through a full vetting process to make sure it is both properly implemented into the game and into the lore. No waifus. This would make it so consumers are confident that they are getting a proper product that is worth the money and one that will not totally break your game. The attention surrounding its release will also give modders a heads up that they might have to create a compatibility patch like they did for Dawngaurd or Dragonborn. Of course, this means that modders can freely use the winner's resources, but what do they care? You have to pay them to.

Perhaps this is not the case, since I have never been banned before, but I have always wondered why a ban the resulted from something said in the forums/chat/whatever would result in a loss of downloading privilege even from free servers. I can understand making people register to download. It gets more people in the ecosystem. But what is the harm in letting those who were banned be able to download as normal? It will only result in more visits to the site.

Figured it out on my own. I needed to download Realistic Needs and Disease for the last mod.

I was trying to install the Realvision ENB on a fresh install of Skyrim but after downloading all the recommended mods except JK's Whiterun, Realistic Aspen Trees, and AoF Detailed Mountains I keep getting a ctd after the Bethesda logo. For my lighting mod, I chose realistic lighting overhaul. When installing the ENB itself, I put that I had 3072 mb of video memory. My current build with Enhanced Lights and FX and Climates of Cyrodil yielded very dull lights, which did not seem to shine at all. There are a lot of other lighting mods out there and I was wondering whether someone could tell me what they think the best mod or combination of mods is.

My log says that block 1 has 512MB allocated to it but the game still crashes at 255! Here is what it says:

I want a mod that provides a handful of NPC's through out Skyrim that have quests made form them that will lead specifically to your character developing a relationship with them and then marrying them. I have already tried mods like Interesting NPC's and Vija and found the former to be not in depth enough and the latter to be annoying. I have installed SSME and am using SKSE (the current one), both of which were suppose to solve my memory problem on their own to prevent crashing and yet none of them work. In fact, it might have gotten worse becasue now just before the game crashes random items start having a purple texture and NPCs start all having black faces. Here is my load order: Can anyone help me? I followed Gopher's videos on stability but they didn't help! I'm using mostly the same texture mods he is, so I don't know what the problem is! I have a high end computer with 16gb of RAM and yet I still crash Skyrim after a while due to running out of memory, even with the patch that lets Skyrim use 4gb of it. Is there a way to help this issue?

You didn't read, did you ... OP wants a Lydia overhaul that includes unique voice, possibly a new appearance, and a lore friendly quest line that has the option of romance + marriage in it. ^^^ This

I know about these mods, they aren't nearly interesting enough. All they do is make it so Lydia can be married and changes some minor things about her. I want a full on companion-quest mod starring her that culminates in marriage.
