  1. So what if you mastered all skills before reaching maximum level?
  2. I noticed that skills in Oblivion are advanced by using them, and levels are advanced by sleeping after advancing one of your major skills. What would happen then, if you fully advanced all of your major skills before you went to sleep?
  3. Is it possible to make the pipboy work like your organizer journal thing in Oblivion? By that I mean that there are no 3d models being brought up to your face while the background blurs, and your camera being forced to first person if you were using a third person view. Only 2d images appearing on your screen.
  4. I never use H2H in Fallout 3 because all the fun stuff of it (kicking your opponents, uppercuts, paralysing palms, to name a few) can only be achieved using VATS, which I don't use. That, and hitting your enemies with anything that's not a power fist just generates awful sounds.
  5. There is a Modification request forum section for this stuff.
  6. I've got 2 save files of the same character, one is level 18 and roaming around doing nothing, while the other is level 21 and inside the Jefferson Memorial to finish the Take it Back! quest. Save 9 - Eliss_ Old Olney_ 34.33.49.fos - 6.07MB Save 12 - Eliss_ Jefferson Museum and Gift Shop_ 42.08.55.fos - 6.74MB
  7. XFire video recording works much better for me. I'd be willing to help, although I don't think I make it for the "American accent".
  8. I can enter any other previously unloaded cell just fine. I just can't enter Super Duper Mart for some reason. I've been trying like, 20 times and it always crashes when its still loading. What are the possible reasons for a certain cell being inaccessible?
  9. Were you in the Red Racer Factory when this happened?
  10. As far as I can tell, all your character data is located in "C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves". This is only for Windows XP though. Apparently Vista has a different location.
  11. Are you sure? When I use print screen, it creates a bitmap of the shot and plunks it into my Fallout 3 folder.
  12. I hope there's more use to destruction of poo than the previous RF games.
  13. But your skill in small guns (or lack thereof) will affect how much the scope sways, right?

  15. I just created a new character, and I'm looking to get a silenced firearm. The damage doesn't matter, because I'm just going to use it to blow up explosives without attracting attention to myself. Does anyone know the accuracy ranking of guns? (preferably the lightest and utilising the most common/cheapest ammunition too)
  16. Thanks Earthworm. Will this apply to cryo mines as well?

  18. Right, how do I go about doing that? I don't expect someone's going to upload an ESP just to tweak that, but that's the only thing I actually want to change really badly.
  19. I was just thinking, what about if you got like, 20 slaves or something, Eulogy/Grouse gives you schematics to make your own collars?
  20. After I got my hands on the cryo grenades and mines for the first time, I was severely disappointed at how short the freezing lasted. Is it possible to make a simple tweak ESP that makes cryo-paralysis last longer? I'm not talking about throwable paralyzing palms here, just something more useful, like 5-10 seconds instead of 3.
  21. How is it that 30 years after the events of Fallout 2, there's as much Jet lying around the Capital Wasteland as there is Buffout, Mentats and the like? In Fallout 2, both versions of Advanced Power Armour have higher DR than the T-51B armour, yet in Fallout 3 T-51B is the best.
  22. Personally, I preferred the lip syncing in Fallout 3 to the unintentionally creepy (or stupid) facial expressions the people in Oblivion constantly put on.
  23. At least they're big and slow, unlike Feral Ghoul Reavers.
  24. I constantly switch between using Apple Macs and PCs, and on the PC I can see a load of these hidden duplicate files of stuff I'd been working on while using a Mac. Does anyone know if these work as backup files of sorts? Its funny, Macs have this amazing ability to corrupt data you weren't even modifying.
