  1. About the only thing to really note, is that you HAVE to play these mods on a game that is saved BEFORE the characters appear in the game. For instance, if you are changing the gender or race of Morrigan, you have to play the mod before you meet her in the woods. Otherwise, the character will appear with a body that is too big, and a head that is too small and floats above the shoulders. Because the game is still reading her original (saved file) that tells it which gender/race she is, but is reading a morph file that doesn't match it. The vanilla cutscenes should not have any problems. I however cannot be 100% sure that custom (modder created) cutscenes would work as they are supposed to. I'm afraid I havent played the game in a few years. And I know this laptop I'm using now doesnt have a video card that is up to spec, so I'm afraid that I can't test it with some of the player created cutscenes. Sorry :(
  2. The problem is not really the fact that the "zero character" is there. The game creates that npc before moving to the cutscene that follows his death. So the problem is that your game is not moving on past the moment that you kill him. you can TRY this, tho I doubt that it will work. If you have not already done so, enable your console. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console_%28Origins%29 once you have the console running, and after you have killed him and the zero figure appears, try running the console script runscript killallhostiles or runscript zz_killallhostiles Tho I think that the problem is that your game is lagging out, the cutscene is damaged, or something is interfering with the flags that cause it to run. I would recommend: 1) Before the fight, turn off any mods that cause the game to lag. Like impoved texture mods like improved atmosphere, combat mods that increase game lag, turn your game graphics to a lower setting, and not run some of the background programs with can eat up RAM. (I've been out of the game for quite some time, so I dont remember which mods can increase game lag, so very sorry). 2) If disabling unneeded mods, turning down the graphics, and freeing up available RAM fails to solve the problem, it might be that the game files are corrupted. In which case you may need to resort to having to reinstall the game. Back when I played this game, I enjoyed killing Loghain many, many, many times. And when my game was running slow, I can remember seeing that "ghost" that you were talking about, right before it moved to the next step. The game IS supposed to create him/them. However, its supposed to go on and move past that event. PS- sorry if I do not respond back in a timely manner. I'm afraid I don't have the chance to visit the forums very often. Edit- thought of one other thing. If you are using any mods that change his appearance with high texture graphics (such as high resolution textures in his face morphs, or hi-rez textures in his armor) you might try removing/disabling those and creating a clean save, that has a slim chance of causing the problem with the cutscene if your game is lagging out.
  3. heyas, sorry for taking so long to get back on this, you should be able to either just move the files into a medium or high folder (depending on which one you are missing. But I'm afraid that I can't remember if you need to rename them or not
  4. Heyas Slof! That really stinks, I know what it's like to lose work due to HDD failures. My sympathies to you both! I unfortunately didn't have any of his work on my machine either :( I DID however find one of his mods here- http://modsreloaded.com/dragon-age-sexualized-succubus-t593.html I don't know if he had any of his other mods on their servers or not. That site is pretty restrictive on fuctionality to non-members. So I couldnt use the search for it. I dunno if it's any help or not, but I hope t'is.
  5. Hiya Dwain- I'm sorry for giving you half an answer, but I havent messed with this game in several years, and I don't have it installed on my computer anymore. But the symptoms that you are describing sounds more like having an incomplete set of LOD files, rather than the mesh files themselves. The game uses two different set of textures for armors. A High detail set of textures for up close, and then a lower resolution set of textures for distance view. The wonkiness that you are describing, sounds like there is not an assigned set of textures for longer distance. If it's a mod that you downloaded, you can check to see if there is a set of textures in the "Medium" folder. I'm using Ghost11's GWRunic armor for the example, but it's \GW_Runic_Armor_v.2.1\Contents\addins\gw_runic_armor\core\textures\medium in your override folder. His are packed in an .erf file, which you can use the toolset to open up. (And I dont have it on my computer, so I can't look at them). :( If it's an armor that you are creating yourself, you can just copy files over from the High to the Medium (or vice versa) folder. Tho I am not sure if they have to be renamed or not. Like I said, I can't currently open the .erf file to see if they have different names or not. Again, sorry for the incomplete answer, but I think that this might lead you in the direction that you need to go ;)
