  1. Yeah, it is doing similar things for me. Which mod, does the version number follow semantic standards? (1.2.4 etc.) Is the file vs mod page version/main file correct? Did you install it from the Nexus or manually via archive? 1. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29359 2. Yes (However, I just updated the download and the page to use MO standard in an attempt to bypass the problem) 3. Yes 4. Installed from Nexus, as an easy one to download to unlock MO2 port
  2. After a quick bit of investigating, it looks like the problem is that Vortex is reading "1.0" and MO's standard "1.0.0.0" as separate versions.
  3. I find myself rather amused by the fact that I told Vortex to check FO4 mods for updates and it's claiming a mod I know damn well is the most current version is out of date... ...It's MY MOD. Heh...
  4. My statement about the vfs was an analogy; it was not meant to imply that such a system is, or will be, in use. Sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear about that, was I...?
  5. Not that it's going to matter, or convince anyone, but it's NOT actually putting anything in the Data folder that Steam didn't put there, or the user manually - it just LOOKS like it is. As a test to determine how deployment functioned, I made a small edit to a texture file that I knew was going to be overwritten in the Data folder, to see if it would be reverted after undeploying the overwriting mod. In actuality, the edit was made to the file in the Vortex mod folder. Although in file explorer it looks like the file is in the Data folder, you're actually accessing the file in the mod folder. If that makes any more sense... EDIT: Just thought of a better way to characterize it: Essentially, with mods deployed, when you open a file explorer to the Data folder, you're not actually seeing the Data folder, you're seeing MO's vfs.
  6. All at once...? Would NOT advise it. 100+ speed-uncapped downloads? That's going to be exceedingly bad for the servers.
  7. No, manual reordering is impossible. The only option is to set dependencies so LOOT knows how to sort the plugins.
  8. There's another thread where a solution was found; I'll see if I can find it and update here with the workaround. EDIT: the workaround Change the following in Mod Organizer.ini in your SSE profile under [General]:gameName=Skyrim Special Edition togameName=SkyrimSE Download and install one mod (doesn't matter what) from SSE Nexus Vortex should recognize your MO2 SSE list. At least, this worked for me...
  9. Let us know if that worked or not; others might encounter that problem.
  10. Entirely possible at this early stage.
  11. I think that the point is that that functionality is on a per-mod basis, when some experienced MO users are wanting a per-file basis.
  12. Hmm. I'll have to try to port mine, then, and see if I can spot anything. EDIT: Hmm...yeah, doesn't show me as having anything to import, even after downloading something for SSE... EDIT 2: Looks like I had to download and install something for my list to show; I'm currently importing SEE. Will edit/post again when finished to relay the success/failure results.
  13. Then I'm probably wrong - that's entirely possible...
  14. I think that would allow selection of multiple versions of a mod; i.e., if the selected mod were to be updated to 1.1, that would show up in the list as a selectable option.
  15. There's an option in "Settings" to turn on Vortex handling; be advised: that's for ALL .nxm links - it'll break any MO1 or alternate MO2 setups you have, but it can be toggled on or off.
  16. Did you try my trick of downloading an SE mod in Vortex first, then trying to import?
  17. And could conceivably break upgrading, depending on how Vortex handles mod-version upgrades.
  18. No, probably not. I'm using the same MO2 version, and it's importing FO4 just fine. I think that it's probably a typo that crept into the release code somewhere along the line.
  19. I'm wondering if maybe a typo didn't creep into the released version somewhere... But then again, I could be wrong. I've been wrong about rather a lot that I opined on so far...Heh...
  20. Tannin posted the explanation for this in another thread; give me a moment to find it and I'll edit this post with the link. EDIT: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6355031-a-few-tips-from-the-focus-group/?p=57206501
  21. Can't help with that just yet; I haven't tried SSE. FO4 works after downloading a mod, though.
  22. Eh, so I misunderstood; no surprise there...
  23. Bug-report it in Vortex if you haven't already.
  24. For me, at least, Loot was showing in the panel at the bottom of the dashboard screen. As far as running it goes, I could easily be off-base, but the impression that I've gotten is that Vortex runs Loot automatically.
  25. I had it pointed to the correct place and it still wasn't showing anything. Could be a bug, could easily be an ID-ten-T error... Either way, this was how I fixed it, at least for one game.
