  1. In response to post #91947883. #91948568, #91948623, #91948758, #91949048, #91949223, #91949548, #91949748, #91950453 are all replies on the same post. For the existing games yes, but what about Fallout 5 or Elder Scrolls 6. Microsoft is already talking some exclusivity here in the future, so there may NOT BE Steam versions/GoG versions, etc...
  2. What steve40 said, player.equipitem 21b3b is what worked for me. I arrived at that code based on KageKouin's suggestion of entering "Player.inv" into console and looking back in the history to find the pipboy ID code. Turns on it's the same as Steve40's, so it's probably the same for everyone. I'm loading an old save after a complete re-install of Fallout and my 400 mods. I kid you not. I had 399 mods working harmoniously until I lost a hard drive. The invisible PipBoy was one of the issues that no longer is. There are a few minor one left, but the fact I can even load my old save is AMAZING. Thanks to everyone suggestions. In general even. For every suggestion, you help 100 or 1000 people solve their issue. Sure maybe there's hundred's or thousands more that it doesn't help, but the ones it does and very, very grateful. Now if fixing bugs in Windows 10 was as easy...
  3. I'm having a similar problem, the ESP based mods are working, but any "loose file" mods, like music or textures are not. I've been installing mods with a vengeance since Oblivion, so I am very familiar with mods, but it just isn't working. I have modified the INI files as specified, but nothing is appearing in game. I've tried it without any ESP mods in case that was causing the issue, but no difference. I tried running the FO4 exe as administrator and compatibility mode for Win 7, but then it gets caught in an endless loading loop where it just runs the launcher over and over again. removing the compatibility setting fixes this. It makes no difference whether I run the exe directly or via steam, so I am at a loss.
  4. This is a personal opinion, but I won't pay for mods. Period. I buy DLC sometimes, and I have donated to authors of mods, but that's because I felt I could afford a few bucks toward something to encourage further development or to reward a job well done. If it comes down to having to buy mods, I'll just do without and probably stop playing the modded games eventually. I really hope the "pay to mod" phase fails. If mod authors want to be paid for what they do, great! Apply for a job with a game developer, become your own developer or whatever. I am happy that youtube video producers make money with their channels, but I don't have to pay for it or I wouldn't watch them, Maybe something similar can happen for modders to "monetize" their mods, just so long as I don't have to pay for mods. I pay enough for the games as it is. Just my half cents worth...
  5. In response to post #20098014. #20210610, #20358489 are all replies on the same post. Well said! I HAVE been part of the Nexus since the beginning and have seen the site and it's owner grow in so many ways. As one of the people in a part of the world that celebrates Thanksgiving. the Nexus is one thing I have always been thankful for. Like anything, there are growing pains, but throughout the years the Nexus has done nothing except get better and better. Thank you Dark0ne (and staff! Who knew back when there was only one that there would be a staff!) for all you do and provide.
  6. This is NOT a bug report... Process running now. It would be helpful (feature request!) if the progress bar gave more information than just a "Installing selected mods". I have upwards of 400 mods, 250 of which are active and the progress bar doesn't seem to be moving and I have no idea when to hit the 3 finger salute. I had 1 scripted installer (CBBE) come up, and I answered the questions and it went away, but again, I'm not sure if it's locked up or just slow... Looking forward to the profiles though, I've been hoping you'd come up with something like this! EDIT: Actually it never moved and I ended up stopping it. Now of course the auto function is not available. and I get lots of different error. I do not seem to have access to the "Bug Tracker" or "Bug Report" button. The first tells me Oops, and the second show no projects.
  7. In response to post #9760798. #9774859, #9783858 are all replies on the same post. I wholly agree. I too from time to time do a fresh Morrowind build, or Oblivion, or Skyrim. I too am a lifetime member. NMM is free people, be patient, all things in good time, or paraphrased as Orson Wells used to say when advertising wine, We'll release no updates until it's time... Guess that probably shows my age, huh?
  8. I'm sure it's too early to worry about yet, but Dragon Age 3 is coming and hopefully it will support modding, or at least the wonderful community of the Nexus sites will mod it anyway! Keep up the great work. That goes for the site admins and modders!
  9. I find it hard to believe that as awesome as our mod creators are, no one can make a first person horse view, or at least a closer zoom. I know that ver 1.9 I think broke the INI file tweaks that allowed it, but isn't there an SKSE way or Papyrus or CK way? I don't have the time to teach my self modding and CK, so I rely on the great modders here. I wish Bethesda hadn't killed that INI tweak... Please? Someone?
  10. Mine is not crashing, but logins won't stay. Every few minutes to an hour it makes me login again. Not a huge issue, but is is slightly annoying. I have a text file on me desktop with the password so I can just copy and paste into the box, so it only slows me down a little. I've never been able to retry download, resume if paused, yes, but if it fails there's no way to tell it to retry later nor even what the mod was that failed to download. All in all though, thank you for the hard work everyone has put into NMM and Nexus in general. Now if we could get mod authors to call their README's something unique other than README.TXT... :)
