  1. Yeah, I've heard of most of these mods, even have a few currently installed. I am hoping to get my game looking like this: https://gfycat.com/BouncyFixedAmoeba That honestly looks a lot like the real vision setup I suggested with probly 2k textures or realistic overhaul as the main textures, with some other cool mods installed like better vanilla leaves. It's hard to make a pick.. for example a bigger trees mod might look awsome on most trees and has a lot of compatability patches. but you can be almost sure one of these mods will clip somewhere or won't look as good in one location or with a certain lightin/ weather. I do home showcases quite a bit and it can be a struggle to find the right lightning and spots to make it beautifull. You actually 'cheat' it a little bit by finding right angles and lightnings for 'screen shot archery'. Lady Lexy has a interesting mod loadout as well. And yes, her voice is quite enjoyable. For me a little too much saturation, but could be easily solved with imaginator! It all comes down to personal favorites and such. I once helped to try someone get his skyrim really nice. turned out he wanted it to be super bleak, misty with dead trees and such. opinion has a lot to do when making your skyrim.
  2. look up realvision enb and predcaliber 2016 graphics tutorial for a decent graphic preset. You can get it nicer than that, but that one should be alright if you don't want to try out a lot of things and be sure things are compatible. Really have to try and find out what's best for you and what Skyrim is capable of.. These are the mods that change most for me, but I do use more. I recommend truevision as a enb. Noble skyrim for most textures Skyrm redesigned (pick your options) Unp configuration package, then install npc overhaul V1 with retextures apachi hair. Then all the bijjin packs for npc (overwrite npc overhaul) ELFX, Lanterns of skyrim bridges of skyrim a flora overhaul glorious grass vivid weather or climates of tamriel. JK skyrim leafrest and dawnof skyrim. Projext paralex remastered and dependened mods like paralex treebark Realistic water 2 Ihud Also sound is a important one too. Theres quite a few, you probably know your favorites. But yeah about 20 to 50 graphic mods can already change skyrim drastically. I like it to have my Skyrim nice, but I prefer room for quests and actual gameplay enhancements, better combat, widgets, better interfaces. awsome quests like legacy of the dragonborn, a few animations without FNIS, better perks (SPERG for the win) etc etc.

  4. A showcase for the player home mod: The Scarlett by Ld50363. If anyone want to see a showcase for a specific mod in this style (preferably home mods), let me know. I'll put the other showcases I made so far in a reply to this..
  5. pretty nice that everyone gets a free upgrade for the game though. I honestly didn't expect them to give us the remastered version (if we'd really need it with the current mods). Dx 11 support and better memory will help though.
  6. it basically is a new game. I don't think mods from legendary skyrim will be compatible with remastered. And I havn't seen anything for a pc remaster, which would propably only be nice for people that don't do modding anyway, since the modding community already has almost everything we could ask for. A heavy modded skyrim now looks far better than the resmastered version.
  7. Another Home showcase from Ld50365. I didn't use this before but was happily surprised. There is a lot of space, and only one extra loading cell (which might be bad for your memory, but it feels very natural). It has everything you could wish for in a player home (and more). It also has some features I didn't see a lot before, like minature standing stones. Ps. if there are Ads displaying, I'm NOT monetizing these videos, it's the music companies that require THEM monetizing their tracks, so I can use them in my videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZe2FnmPZjI
  8. I always thought it was a mistake to kill mannimarco so easily in oblivion. Could make for some great story lines. Very curious about this mod!
  9. lost grimoire / sperg (for better perks) / simple spell scaling and a customized community uncapper is my favorite. and maybe a few quests like dwemertech. I also like midas magic and perkus, but it's a little too much. Asis would also be nice (I don't really use it myself) but let's npc's use modded spells.
  10. It's really just preferences. Nmm is a little faster if you know exactly what you want. Mo is the superior tool in almost all other aspects, yes.
  11. Almosts all mods build on the skyrim master. There is no mod that deletes skse your mod managers or the dlcs's. Skse is a plugin, not even a esp or something a mod changes.
  12. Living takes time perhaps? Try your question in the mod detective thread on this forum page as well
  13. Could be that you need another patch with the Fnis generator for certain mods you use. Fnis is kinda heavy for Skyrim. If you need it be sure your skyrim can handle it. There are plenty of mods not depending on Fnis. Like lifelike idle animations and dragon animation replacers which are a lot friendlier to Skyrim. Be sure you read everything on the Fnis page about patches, and see if there is some optionals your missing from a Fnis depending mod.
  14. Sunshines and Rainbows
  15. I just saw someone asking to be a voice actor. Pretty good voice if I may say so! Here's a video of me trying out difference accents and voices to give you a taste of what I can do. - https://youtu.be/Q3Ga5DAUbE0
  16. Another video. This time Draven Manor. A build your own home mod. Try out this mod, Endorse and subscribe for more. If there is anyone who would want me to showcase a mod (favorably a home mod) in this style I'd love to give it a try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULS-t-MyHOE
  17. the very first thing you need to do when starting modding is figure out what mod installing tool you gonna use, or you want to do it all manually. The second thing you need to know of is tes5edit to clean your masters. there are good tutorials on youtube for that. Loot does everything for you considering load order, unless the mod author may state differently, I can't name a mod which should be different than loot sets it to. Just open it, click the sort plugins button (upper right corner) and click apply. What's more is check showcases and check dangerous mod lists. See how users expierence the mod. See if it is for you. Test a few mods at a time (THOROUGHLY). Stress your memory, see if Skyrim can handle it. (not your pc, Skyrim) For example go to a heavy modded place and throw up your speed. (player.setav speedmult 500, 100 is default) I made a tutorial for skyrim beginners on youtube, but there are some mixed feelings about it. It should cover the basics and where you should look for though if you can stand the audio and perhaps a little rushed tutorial. (dawnoffrost is my channel) Theres many roads, but for a beginner modder it's a lot of trial and error, research and maybe even starting over a few times. There are so many tools, check what peopel advise to install first and why, what are common problems with skyrim modding etc etc. There are litteraly 100s if not 1000s of tutorials for each and every tool. The ones that helped me most are a few parts of the STEP project, Gopher on youtube and a few showcasers like Zaric Zhakaron on Youtube. Hope this will give you a few new things to look into. Must have tools IMO; NMM if i know what mods I want. MO if I want to experiment. SKSE and ENBoost for Memory fixes + The tool to set your memory. (preferably not the lazy ini many people use) Tes5Edit to clean masters prior to modding, set new scripts and patches (example needed for iactivate mod) Unofical legendary Patch instead of all the other patches for Vanilla bugs. WryeBash for bashed batches and tweaking some settings like timescale and alarm distance. Loot for loadorder Ordenator for smaller mod seize and removed stutter / better fps with lots of different scaling textures A wall to throw the offical texture packs at.
  18. Ah yes, I didn't really like amoreus adventures on most of the changed npc's. Felt very unnatural, but might be worth it for others. If you do though, I'd recommend the version WITHOUT Sexlab
  19. Yes I think asis does this. But be carefull with heavy modded loadouts. It can be quite heavy to have custom npc's with custom armors/ weps.
  20. Nice voice for voice acting! I wouldn't mind hearing your voice in some quests. I'd try to look at some quests in development, they usually need voice actors. Contact the authors, they usually will reply back. Also try out the voice actors of skyrim topic in this thread (3rd pinned post), so the request stais pinned.
  21. Have you set up SKSE and Enboost? do you use the legendary patch? have you cleaned your masters with tes5edit before modding? If no to any of those, look those up. For some you will have to do a fresh install with so many graphic mods do you use the high res texture packs? if so, turn those off too. If you have to use them (just don't really), use the unofficial patch for that as well.
  22. Mirai Vilja (toccato textures as my favorite) Sofia - (chacone textures as my favorite) Marriable serana/Seranaholic Mrissi, tail of two troubles Sephina (doesn't have a quest but has a beautifull home just outside Whiterun) I suggest using inigo together with vilja as well. Makes for some nice dialogues among eachother I suggest Amazing follower tweaks for that. Also use follower commentary overhaul. Might be nice for some followers that use vanilla dialogue Serenity, chelsea and Hikari would be my other favorite female followers, as for the looks. But they don't come with quests. I don't think they can be found on the nexus either.
  23. I would help you but it wouldn't be a very good test with immersive college of winterhold installed. Google this; Dawnguard completed save files (or look at nexus category save files). I'd practically would have to do the same thing if I wanted to help, since my serana lies on the botom of the sea of ghosts somewhere. Download a save and just place it in your documents/games/skyrim/saves.
  24. Not sure but you might want to add your question in the mod detective thread on the top of this forum thread :) People specifically look for those kind of things there.
