  1. Seems interesting, but a bit overpowered in terms of the effects you described.
  2. The civil war questline is like this in vanilla Skyrim. If you go into the bugs section on the wiki pages for each Civil War quest, I can tell you I and many other people have encountered most of them. It is a good thing that Bethesda has stated that that they have learned from patching Skyrim and Fallout 3, and will put a higher focus on crushing bugs going forward.
  3. What CyranGe showed us earlier is just fine if you ask me.
  4. Does anyone have an idea why the Civil War questline, one of the main themes of the entire game, is the buggiest thing in the entire game no matter which side you choose? It is littered with various issues, most of them being quests not updating and essential dialogue options not showing. You would think that Bethesda would have at least fixed this mess before cutting off the flow of patches. Also, why do the Unofficial Patches not fix 90% of the Civil War issues? Are they all simply unfixable?
  5. I use the console in a few situations. Mostly when I am on a high difficulty, in the middle of nowhere, and can't just drop what I am doing to go to a town and buy healing potions. I tend to also use it to give extra healing potions to vendors, because they never sell enough of them for the player to survive. There is never enough healing potions in the game, despite the fact they are the single most vital resource in the game. . .
  6. Two things. I decided not to list any daedra or aedra, as I was sticking to figures born in Nirn. Two, the nexus forums has a limit of ten options per poll, which was not enough. I put Orgnum in there because he is responsible for creating an entirely new race.
  7. How does that follow? A Dragonborn can be not just a member of the Dark Brotherhood but their Listener and thus in the service of Sithis. That's different. The dragonborn is granted his or her draconic blood by Akatosh at birth, unless they somehow became listener while they were a friggin fetus. Sithis is far stronger than any of the Et'Ada, and can easily overwrite any divine marking, while still leaving the powers it gave. A dragonborn may be a creation of Akatosh, but that does not and can not stop Sithis from doing whatever the heck he wants to.
  8. I looked at that and it seems a bit ridiculous to me. It seems over dramatized in their features, and Maormer don't even breathe water.
  9. Nothing overly sexualized please. I prefer to have a sense of decency when modding my game.
  10. In response to CyranGE, you have created the first good model for a Maormer in Skyrim I have ever seen. I really do appreciate what you have done. However, there are a few things that still need to be addressed. Character Customization (unless that's there by default)The female face modelMaking sure their skills are balanced and properTheir racial passive and powerI believe the power would be the hardest, considering that it would need to be set to the actual states of walking and sneak walking, rather than the speeds. This is because some people use mods that alter movement speeds. How much of this seems possible to you CyranGE?
  11. So, was anyone else annoyed by the fact that 100% of the time, Balgruuf joins the Imperials without considering Ulfric's offer. We know that the Jarl of Whiterun is a man willing to listen to reason, so why can't we convince him to side with the Stormcloaks? Here is my idea. It would require the player to make multiple points about why he should ally with Ulfric, let's say around three chances to succeed. The success of each one is based on persuasion, and requires an increasingly higher speech level to succeed. Let's say the intervals are randomized per persuasion attempt at about 20, 30, and 40. The player has to get best out of three in the discussion in order to convince Balgruuf to accept. If he does accept, here is what happens. The Battle of Whiterun is skippedBalgruuf, Proventus, and Ireleth stay in powerThe whiterun guards are switched out for stormcloaksSinmir still becomes the new guard captainMost dialogue involving the change of factions still apearsDialogue regarding Balgruuf's loss of power is disabled, along with Belethor's dialogue about the siegeBalgruuf's dialogue regarding the civil war is disabled, along with any owned by Ireleth, Proventus, and FarengarUlfric plays his dialogue he says after reporting to him about the battle's success in place of being disappointed that Balgruuf did not accept the axe. He also gets his axe back anyways to prevent bugsYou are sent right into the camp based missions after telling Ulfric it workedIn terms of the voicing for Balgruuf's lines, other parts of his already existing dialogue can be reused for the mod. If anyone could attempt to make this, that would be amazing.
  12. Their flesh is just jelly like in the way it is made up. Besides, what CyranGE has shown us already is practically perfect.
  13. The Maormer are already different enough if you ask me. especially considering the fact their flesh is almost jellyfish like. Besides, what use would Meridia have for making Sea Elves scaly? I would really like to know.
  14. I just looked at that image up top and it is amazing! There are a few things about it I should say. The hair should have a more silver like coloration to it like in the ESO screenshots, and it needs to have a similar level of customization as vanilla races, if that is something that needs to be manually created. Also, I don't think that scales would be a good idea. The purpose of this request was to have a lore friendly sea elf, and scales is often a thing I see when it comes to the topic of adding Maormer to Skyrim. I guess it could be made as an alternate file for people who don't care about lore. :/ Also, how easy it would it be to create the racial ability described in the original post? It would need to be attuned to the actual states of walking and sneak-walking, rather than the speeds of those states, seeing as some people use mods that adjust movement speed.
  15. So, here is the situation. I have a beefy computer that can run several graphics mods very easily, including Purity, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, SMIM and most of the aMidianborn mods and I am still not satisfied. Why am I not satisfied with being able to use all these amazing graphics and still have an amazing frame rate? There is only one reason. THE MAXIMUM RENDER DISTANCE IS TOO FRIGGIN' LOW. I had every setting regarding rendering the world and its entities as high as they could be, and still could only see a good 40-50 feet in front of me. Personally, I HATE the incredibly low quality distant terrain and LOD that the game has. I have been looking for a way to increase the render distance of all the things in my game, but so far nothing good. The only thing I have found is to go into the Skyrim.ini and edit it manually, but there are some problems with that. Nothing in my game files is actually labeled Skyrim.ini, and the ini files that do exist don't have any of the things I need to edit. I don't want to risk doing irreparable damage to my game, so this my request. Amplified Render Distance (ARD) A simple mod that utilizes an MCM menu to multiply all of the rendering options by a certain degree. For example, one could multiply all of their current settings by anything from 1 to 10. Imagine being able to see the world 10 times farther than you could before with all those graphics mods installed! If anybody could even attempt this, that would be fantastic.
  16. While I think this would be interesting, it wouldn't work for me since my character's brother is the leader of the sodding Thalmor.
  17. I am here to ask one question. Who, on this list of major characters and small groups of major characters in the history of the Elder Scrolls is your favorite? The list is not restricted to any individual game, rather all of the lore for the TES series. Also, please notify me If I missed anybody. -Edit: I have no clue how to put the poll below the description.
  18. I maybe would play it if they released it correctly. They would need to reveal it at the same time as they would reveal the next full TES game, like they did with Fallout 4 and Fallout Shelter, otherwise people would be furious. I guess the idea could be that in some pocket plane of Oblivion, a powerful daedric being is creating replicas of Tamrielic heroes/villians to fight against each other. I would definitely get on board with being able to play as Mannimarco or Ysgramor.
  19. Actually, doing either will stop assassins from attacking you.
  20. The Hist Trees are directly connected to Sithis, and since Akatosh is the one to grant dragonborn power and has no power to affect the creations of the Dread Lord, no. A hist tree could not be a dragonborn.
  21. I support Lachdonin's idea that Lorkhan created the forge. From what I have read, the war between Lorkhan and the Aedra, thus the first war between men and mer, happened in Tamriel. After the war, the races of men and mer migrated to other lands because Tamriel was somewhat decimated at the time. It does make sense that Lorkhan used the forge to create mankind. I would theorize Lorkhan used the bowl in the underforge to fill with a VERY small portion of his own blood, which was the key ingredient for the first of mankind. It also makes sense that the falmer would fear it considering it would be an artifact of who is considered one of, if not the greatest enemy of elven kind.
  22. The negative modding skill thing was just a joke. I know how certain things work, but I don't understand how to change them myself or even use the creation kit of all things.
  23. This is the only visual representation of Maormer created so far, and I rather like how unique they look.
