  1. With my next play through I have decided to use Alchemy while previously I have used it early game to make a bit of cash but never used it after that, my problem has always been weight as I tend to pick up every ingredient I can find and end up with about 10 different versions of the same potion!! But I am hoping with some weight mods (thanks Bangolier) and a bit of discipline it will be easier this time round. Can I ask you for some suggestions of your favorite Potions & Poisons I am going to be playing as primary a Combat archer (maybe a little stealth) with Sword and Shield as backup, but whats going to make this play through a bit more challenging is I am not going to be using any magic (no Healing Hands... or enchanting) so Potions are going to be invaluable. Thanks,
  2. I personally am working on getting a good setup with an idea of what I would like to add to it when SKSE is released and the mods become available, but what I would really like is SkyUI/MGM and to see some of the heavy customization mods updated to support MGM again. This will obviously take time and I am working on the assumption that it will be probably up to six months after SKSE is released before this all happens. Wish I had the ability to create some mods, but I am useless at graphics and anything I think of relating to scripts is already available for me!
  3. Had a quick look at your LoadOrder and can't see anything that stands out as an issue, however I am fairly new to modding Skyrim, previously when I have had problems my strategy has been a painful one which is disable a load of mods test and repeat until I find what is causing issues. With black faces I have found the following have caused me issues Hair Mods (KS Hairdo Lite in particular for some reason) & Character makeovers (I found using multiple ones cause lots of problems (e.g. Total Character Makeover, WICO... & Bijiin). I have also heard that you can introduce them if you add some mods mid playthrough. For Tools I have found that MO2 (Mod Origaniser 2) makes life a whole lot easier when modding, in particular if you install a lot of Textures... and need to see what is mod is being overwritten by what, however it is in Beta currently and there are some bugs, but generally the features more than make up for it, however if you haven't used it before I would suggest watching Youtube Videos from Gopher or Dirty Weasel Media. Also something I always do is read all documentation carefully for the mod, read recent posts and check on the Nexus to see if there are any compatibility patches e.g. I use Cloaks of Skyrim and Winter is Coming - Cloaks and a Patch is needed for these) If you haven't already, I would also suggest keeping a document with what you have installed (makes life a lot easier if you need to re-install at any point). Also if you haven't already found it then S.E.P.T.I.M. guide on Nexus is a great help (you can also have a look at my link to see what I have installed if it helps). Not sure if any of this will help, but good luck.
  4. After a lot of testing and playing around found the solution, my issues were from 2 different items 1. My ENB was causing part of the Problem, changing the ENB solved most of the issue (I think the ENB was fine but with my setup/mods it was showing more details than I wanted around the neck), I am now using Rudy and loving it. 2. I had vSync turned of in the ENB Settings (This also was causing a line to appear across the screen and slowly move up every few minutes).
  5. Hi, Welcome to the fun of modding SSE, really it is up to personal taste, however when installing mods always make sure you ready the description (I also search on the Nexus for any compatibility patches. For textures Mods its a case of trying one and seeing what suites you best, however if you are using NMM be aware that the order you install has an impact so the last you install will override any textures that it shares with the previous... For Immersion Mods you can get things like Immersive Citizens, Patrols.. to some really hard cord Mods like Camping, iNeeds & Frostfall, also if you want some more challenge in Combat I would recommend Smilodon (the Realistic Damage for Smilodon makes it really challenging, I would also recommend Ordinator which complete replaces all the Perks with new Perk Trees (however I would only ever use with a new Game) One final note is get the Mods you want setup and then start a Playthrough, removing Mods halfway through can cause some major problems (sometimes installing new ones can too). You can also have a look at the link in my signature which has a list of all the Mods I have installed.
  6. I am currently running Tempered Skins, unlike some skins they don't look like the characters have just stepped off a Cat Walk and seem (from my perspective) to fit with the theme of Skyrim. Also if you want there are both versions for Male & Females
  7. If you are using Realistic Ragdoll and force this seams to cause problems, so this could be your issue if you are using it.
  8. Hi, I have recently noticed that Female Characters/NPCs all have a weird fuzzy appearance around their necks, Thinking it was a mod I have tried running Skyrim SE without Mods (fairly easy as I am using MO2, I just need to run Skyrim directly instead of through MO2), but I get the same effect. Below is a link to a photo of what I am talking about https://goo.gl/HRhSrt Also below is a link to a Google Doc with all my installed mods (only those that are marked as active as in use) https://goo.gl/3JEJjp and below is my Load Order # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer.Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthfires.esmDragonborn.esmUnofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.espRSkyrimChildren.esmApachiiHair.esmApachiiHairFemales.esmApachiiHairMales.esmCampfire.esmFalskaar.esmClimatesOfTamriel.esmCutting Room Floor.espSMIM-SE-Merged-All.espSkyrimIsWindy.espBarenziahQuestMarkers.espCC'sEnhancedOreVeinsSSE-HearthfirePatch.espDawnguard Delayed - Level 40.espBVFE.espFNIS.espFootprints.espRayg_NoBYOHAttacks.espMove it Dammit.espRichMerchantsSkyrim_x10.espRSChildren - Complete.espRSChildren_PatchUSSEP.espRunandwalkpaces.espSkyHUD.espXPMSSE.espImperialSoldiersEscortFix.espVioLens SE.espVioLens SE - Book Menu.espEnhancedLightsandFX.espELFX - Exteriors.espCLARALUX SSE.espAnotherSortingMod_2017-SSE.espImmersive Sounds - Compendium.espVerdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin SSE Version.espWARZONES - SSE - Civil Unrest.espBook Covers Skyrim.espReverb and Ambiance Overhaul - Skyrim.espCivil War Aftermath.espHelgen Reborn.espSolitude Expansion.espAmazingFollowerTweaks.espForgotten DungeonsSSE.espEli_Breezehome.espcoveredcarriages.espCoveredCarriagesSMIM.espRealistic-Voice.espNo NPC Greetings.espicepenguinworldmapclassic.espYOT - Your Own Thoughts.espModern Brawl Bug Fix.espMan Those Borders!.espLandscape Fixes For Verdant Grass SE.espBetterDocks-MP-DLC-Compatible.espOrdinator - Perks of Skyrim.espskyBirds_SSE.espCombat Evolved.espPopulated Lands Roads Paths Legendary.espPoint The Way.espCultofAgnar.espSimplyBiggerTreesSE.espTheChoiceIsYours.espSkyrim Better Roads and Bridges - All In One - Merged.espHorse Texture Replacer.espDr_Bandolier.espLrsamwaysExpandedSkyrimWeaponry.espDifferently Ebony.espHothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.espUnique Uniques.espBeards.espTrueBrows.espSPTDiverseGuardsSkyrimSE.espNoBSAIProjectileDodge.espTCIY_BCS Patch.espBijinAIO_SSE-3.1.1-SV.espSmilodon - Combat of Skyrim.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espRealistic Melee Range.espGuards Attack Hostiles.espInsignificant Object Remover.espFalskaarRSChildrenPatch.espSmoking Candles.espFPSBoost.espdD-No Spinning Death Animation.espSturdyDragons.espCloaks.espBlowing in the Wind SSE.espImmersive Patrols II.espPopulated Cities Towns Villages Legendary.espFrostfall.esp1nivWICCloaks.espaMidianBorn_ContentAddon.espHothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.espHunterborn.espChesko_WearableLantern.espImmersive Followers.espelvenwood.espQuit Complaining, Lydia.espInsanitySorrow Weapons Pack.espKarthwasten.espPopulated Skyrim Civil War.espiNeed.espnotice board.espBlacksmith Forge Water Fix SE USSEP.espCLARALUX SSE - Point the Way.espEasierRidersDungeonPackSSE.espCLARALUX SSE - Ordinator.espThe Paarthurnax Dilemma.espHoldBorderBanners.espBlowing in the Wind - Helgen Reborn Patch SSE.espBlowing in the Wind - SMIM Merged All Patch SSE.espSkyrim Sizes.espFrida.espAMB Glass Variants Lore.espaMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.espgreatswords1.espGildergreen Regrown.espCLARALUX SSE - USSEP.espLightngDuringStorm.espCassi.esp1nivWICSkyCloaksPatch.esphunterscarvedarsenal.espLeather Armor Replacer.espCloaks - Dawnguard.espCloaks - USSEP Patch.espPopulated Skyrim Prisons Cells.esp50 More Perk Points.espFalskaar_ASM-2016.espImproved Eyes Skyrim.espbeltfastenedquivers.espThief skills rebalance for Ordinator.espSmilodon - Realistic Damage.espimp_helm_legend.espDiverseDragonsCollectionSE.espWetandCold.espELFX - NoBreezehome.espClimatesOfTamriel-Falskaar.espImmersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.espRealisticWaterTwo.espRealisticWaterTwo+-+Verdant+Patch.espCLARALUX SSE - Immersive Cititzens.espELFXEnhancer.espmore idle markers.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espCLARALUX SSE - LAL.espRelationship Dialogue Overhaul.espRDO - CRF + USSEP Patch.espRAO - Alternate Start Patch.espBashed Patch, 0.esp Does anyone else have this and if so any ideas if it can be removed?
  9. You all also need to remember that after SKSE64 is released it could be Months before the Mods that are currently waiting on SKSE64 are ported as there is the possibility that at least some of the scripts for these Mods will need to be re-written to work with the new SKSE64, so while some of the simpler Mods I would expect could be released fairly soon after release of SKSE64 some might take a while. I also remember seeing something somewhere (I could be wrong) to the fact that SKSE64 might not have all the scripts that SKSE has on initial Beta release so again this could mean some Mods could not initially be ported.
  10. On old Skyrim I could barely manage a handful (without constant CTD's) so as the new version is so stable I decided to go for a full out heavy modded play through, just waiting for a couple of Mods which according to the Mod pages are being worked on but need SKSE so hopefully in the next couple of months I can look at starting my play through. Inigo is great fun, I also like Recorder, but the follower I would really like to see ported is Arissa (somehow I think it is unlikely to happen). So if you are looking for followers I would recommend looking at Inigo or Recorder, mind you some of the comments that Inigo makes about Lydia always makes me laugh.
  11. You should see in the bottom right corner of the screen your name and the container/character you want to trade with. clicking theses names changes which way you are trading
  12. Makes a nice change from Original Skyrim CTD'ing every 20 minutes (mainly due to the terrible DirectX 9 drivers on Windows 10). I just have a save strategy that I create a new save every time I start/finish a quest and remember periodically to hit F5 the rest of the time.
  13. Vilja *shudders* she annoys me more than Nazeem! As you use WildCat I have found Combat Evolved and Sturdy Dragons (Hardcore) work well with it, but does increase the difficulty
  14. I found the issue over the weekend (took several hours of remove mod, run game go to Irileth...) the issue was a conflict between Apachii and Katnerd's Followers and NPC's in the end I removed the later. I have also seen on a Forum post some where that Meshes for characters that are different sizes can cause the same problem and the only solution for this seems to be to start a new game (apparently this only effects NPC's you haven't met yet) and is only caused if you change/add Mods halfway through a playthrough (one of the reasons I spend a while setting up my mods before I start a game)
  15. The only times I have had SSE crash with me was due to Incompatibilities or forgetting to sort the Load Order, not sure if its needed for SSE, but I also clean my Master Files which with Old Skyrim help with stability. I have about 180 Mods (just over 100 Plugins) installed and stability seems to be very good, for Old Skyrim I never installed much in the way of Mods as couldn't get it stable after I had more than 30-40 mods and even then it would CTD every 30 minutes. I have found with SSE that if there are incompatibilities you more often than not get some strange behavior in game rather than the game crashing.
  16. SSE ran for me OK last night, it might however explain the issue I am having with some NPC's with dark heads. Not sure if this helps at all but for updating mods, have you clicked track on any mods on Nexus you have installed, if you have you can go to the tracking page on Nexus to see which mods have been updated since you installed them (if you are not a premium user it will only show you the date the mod was last updated). The Unforunate thing is that from what I can see Update 1.4 is mostly useless to anyone who doesn't use BethSofts Mod's Page.
  17. Hi, I have started having an issue with Irileth having a dark face this evening to start with I thought the issue could be due to a Mod I have installed today, but after removing all the Mods I have installed I am still having the same issue. I have even tried disabling the mods that make changes to the character faces (QD Characters & WICO) but no luck. In the past after having this issue the only solution I have found is to remove the effected mods and start a new game (not an issue currently as trying to setup all the mods I want for my play through) but this time this has not resolved the issue, I have even updated MO2 to the latest version 2.0.8.3 Anyone with any ideas? Below is a link to the Mods I have installed. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ivQgFmm1Y0FnQOrd0ai3i86SqgQcyGmkdJV90KJ-3r0/edit?usp=sharing and this is my current load order (LOOT) # This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer.Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthfires.esmDragonborn.esmUnofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.espRSkyrimChildren.esmApachiiHair.esmApachiiHairFemales.esmApachiiHairMales.esmFalskaar.esmCutting Room Floor.espSMIM-SE-Merged-All.espImmersive Sounds - Compendium.espCLARALUX - SSE.espSkyrimIsWindy.espBlowing in the Wind SSE.espBlowing in the Wind - CLARALUX Patch SSE.espBook Covers Skyrim.espBarenziahQuestMarkers.espBeards.espCC'sEnhancedOreVeinsSSE-HearthfirePatch.espDawnguard Delayed - Level 40.espBVFE.espFNIS.espFootprints.espRayg_NoBYOHAttacks.espMove it Dammit.espdD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.espRichMerchantsSkyrim_x10.espRSChildren - Complete.espRSChildren_PatchUSSEP.espRunandwalkpaces.espSkyHUD.espTrueBrows.espTrue Eyes SE.espVisible Favorited Gear.espXPMSSE.espWhen Vampires Attack.espChesko_WearableLantern.espImperialSoldiersEscortFix.espVioLens SE.espVioLens SE - Book Menu.espAmazingFollowerTweaks.espCivil War Aftermath.espHelgen Reborn.espThe Shrines of Auriel.espPopulated Skyrim Legendary.espEli_Breezehome.espSPTDiverseGuardsSkyrimSE.espcoveredcarriages.espCoveredCarriagesSMIM.espRealistic-Voice.espNo NPC Greetings.espFacelight.espicepenguinworldmapclassic.espDolomite Weathers.espDSHg - Circlets.espDSHg - Hats.espDSHg - Helmets.espDSHg - Hoods.espDSHg - UpdateDB.espDSHg - UpdateDG.espYOT - Your Own Thoughts.espModern Brawl Bug Fix.espForgotten DungeonsSSE.espMan Those Borders!.espSkyrim Better Roads - The Rift.espBetterDocks-MP-DLC-Compatible.espaMidianBorn_ContentAddon.espGrandPaladinSE.espskyBirds_SSE.espHorse Texture Replacer.espHarvestOverhaul_Redone.espHarvestOverhaul_Redone_Creatures.espHOR_Creatures_SkyBirdsPatch.espHOR_SkyBirdsPatch.espSkyrimIsWindy-HarvestOverhaul-Patch.espHothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.espPoint The Way.espCultofAgnar.espSimplyBiggerTreesSE.espTheChoiceIsYours.espSkyrim Flora Overhaul.espVerdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin SSE Version.espJKs Whiterun.espJK's Riverwood.espRun For Your Lives.espTCIY_BCS Patch.espInigo.espImmersive Patrols II.espImmersive Wenches.espBosmerArmorMATY743.espSkyrim Better Roads - Solitude.espImmersive Followers.espDr_Bandolier.espelvenwood.espQuit Complaining, Lydia.espSkyrim Better Roads - Whiterun.espKarthwasten.espRecorder Follower Base.espPopulated Skyrim Civil War.espnotice board.espBlacksmith Forge Water Fix SE USSEP.espEasierRidersDungeonPackSSE.espJKs Whiterun exterior.espThe Paarthurnax Dilemma.espHoldBorderBanners.espSkyrim Better Roads - Ivarstead.espBlowing in the Wind - JK's Riverwood Patch SSE.espRitual Armor of Boethiah.espBlowing in the Wind - Helgen Reborn Patch SSE.espBlowing in the Wind - JK's Whiterun Patch SSE.espBlowing in the Wind - SMIM Merged All Patch SSE.espImmersive Wenches -Apachii hairs- Patch.espwyldtats.espSkyrim Sizes.espFrida.espkatnerdNPCs.espAMB Glass Variants Lore.espDifferently Ebony.espaMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.espgreatswords1.espHothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.espimperiallightarmorvariant.espStormLord.espUrsine Armour - Non HDT.espUnique Uniques.espLrsamwaysExpandedSkyrimWeaponry.espAKHHAlternateRoute.espknightfollower.espGildergreen Regrown.espSkyrim Better Bridges - Whiterun.espHearthfire Warehouse.espDaevaFollower.espMani Follower.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espEfficientPerkOverhaul.espImmersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.espmore idle markers.espImmersive Wenches -Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul Patch-.espRealisticWaterTwo.espRealisticWaterTwo+-+Verdant+Patch.espAlternate Start - Live Another Life.espRelationship Dialogue Overhaul.espRDO - CRF + USSEP Patch.espBashed Patch, 0.esp
  18. No idea, from what I have seen on the internet I am hopefully it will be move to SSE, but no news on when I just keep my eye on the latest releases on Nexus to see if it is released.
  19. Immersive Weapons hasn't been released fro SSE yet.
  20. Haven't has any problems with corruption, but I have a simple strategy for saves to hope ease the issue of having corrupt saves. When ever I go through a door, start a new quest... I create a new Save, the rest of the time I use F5 to do quick saves at regular intervals after a few hours I do tend to end up with a large amount of saves though.
  21. Fairly easy 1. Download Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) 2. Download Immersive Weapons/Armor form Nexus (I prefer manual download as it is quicker) 3. Click plus in NMM and select the files you have downloaded 4. Double click on Mod in NMM and it will turn green after installing, depending on the mod you might get a installer asking you some questions 5. If you are going to install a lot of additional Mods then it iwll be worth downloading and running LOOT (look on youtube for guides on how to use) 6. Play Skyrim
  22. Thanks for the help, I did try an ENB (SkyrimSE Re-Engaged) and even on the best performance config the FPS was too low for my system (i7 6700k, GTX 1060, 32GB Ram), so have gone for a Re-Shader (ClearView) which while not as good as an ENB is much better than Vanilla and FPS has stayed around 60+ while with ENB it was dropping as low as 20!
  23. Hi, Can anyone help explain to me what the differences are between ENB's and ReShaders and what advantages one has over the other, I am currently using ClearView and find it works fairly well. I have tried ENB's with Original Skyrim in the past and had issues (bottom half the screen was black while the other half was fine) so before I try again I would like to understand what benefits they would give me (if any). Also does anyone know if there is a mod for SE that can add more lights inside buildings as I have found with ReShaders some buildings are a bit too dark and I would imagine I would have the same issue with ENB's (from my limited understanding) Thanks,
  24. Hi, Some of my favorites are WICO Redesigned Females Total Character Overhaul True Brows True Eyes These will help to Overhaul your characters and then you have the body models CBBE (cant tell you much about it as never used it) and UNP, I have always gone UNP as I can find more Lore friendly armor for it. You can find all these here on Nexus
  25. As far as I know you will still need to clean your Master Files, I did see a comment on the Forums about a TES5Edit for SE being released, but haven't seen a download for it yet myself so you might need to google it.
