  1. thanks i actually looked at the second link but from what ir ead it seemed the craetor only added a couple of NPC's. But you say the creator added many more? If i couple that mod with Warzones, i think i'll have the NPC's i need, but any more suggestions are welcome.
  2. could someone point me in the direction of a mod (or create a mod for me :) ) that adds lots (and i mean lots) of new NPCs (both civilian and military)? They dont have to be important NPC's just generic NPC's to flesh out the depopulated towns. Also, are there any mods (or mods that could be made) that add lots of new buildings to the cities and, to a lesser extent, towns and villages? they just seem way too small..... thanks in advance.
  3. what about latin america? Africa wouldnt be effected..... Australia and the oceanic countries? India? The USSR? I really hope the next game has information on the rest of the world....like would it be that hard to add into the story that the NCR decided to send envoys out to Canada, accross the pacific and down into latin america (especially this as california shares a border with mexico....)? And i dont think Europe was wiped out by the resource wars, i think the alliance they had fell apart and they started smaller conventional wars....I dont think they were hit by many nukes as they werent involved with the war with China

Though I'm fairly sure that it's hinted in-game that the NCR force in the Mojave is relatively small and poorly supplied, with the best troops and equipment remaining in California to protect NCR territory. Been poorly supplied is a good excuse, as if the NCR has all the best stuff then they'd always win.... But no mention is made ingame about better equipt troops...quite odd if you ask me. I hope that if they do a DLC based in the Core Region, the NCR has high tech stuff...
  5. Shady sands has more than 3000 people living there. It would be in the high tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands by the 2280's (which is the time period of New Vegas). And i'd probably expect that the city would have its fair share of 20+ floor buildings. Although, it sounds good, but wouldnt it be too much for the current engine to handle?
  6. I thought nukes were still only used by the biggest states? Like the USSR, China, the USA and only one or two others? I thought it was only Nuclear Fusion, with a bit of Fission tacked on, which every other nation used?
  7. Better everything, if the next fallout uses a better engine. My only request is that if the next game revisits the Mojave/California, make it so only NCR/BoS/Shi related civilians and military personnal are the ones who have an abundance of firearms/energy weapons (or advanced tech in any form). And also include on that list wasteland adventurers, garrisons of settlements and people who work for the big caravan companies.
  8. Says in the Fallout Wiki called the 'Vault' that the Shi were more than happy to trade tech and arms with the NCR in return for protection by the NCR's much larger military. It also says that the real power of the Shi is their research potential and industrial might (much like modern China) so trading high tech weapons/armour and advanced tech like nuclear technology to rebuild California's infrastructure and utilities, like the NCR seems to want to do, would make sense. EDIT: Maybe Obsidian made the NCR the way they are because giving them all power armour and energy weapons would mean the Legion would have no way in hell of defeating them.
  9. Anyone remember the Shi? And how they were way more advanced than even the Brotherhood, were at the forefront of technology (by the time of New Vegas's timeline, they would ahve rediscovered nuclear fusion power), shared their technology and research with the NCR, aided the NCR and even supplies the NCR with extremely high tech energy weapons (gatling lasers, plasma casters, multiplas rifles and tri beam lasers) and even rebuild (and even new) sets of T-51b and T-51c power armour. Now, New Vegas happened many years after Fallout 2, and yet the NCR still uses very little in the way of energy weapons and power armour, when, if the trade with the Shi continued, or grew, as Fallout Lore suggests, then shouldnt the NCR be using power armour and energy weapons that outclass even the BoS? Because, didnt Falout 2 take place in 2241, and in new Vegas we're in the 2280's, so thats more than enough time for the NCR to make use of the technology of the Shi.... And why isnt there any mention of the Shi in New Vegas?
  10. its fine now, as if i start a new game i can go in and out the novac room so fast there isnt even a loading screen (i suppose my 8 GB of ram helps tho). I spent 5 minutes just going in and out of the novac room, checking for bugs with that identical load list and it was fine, a bit of stutter outside tho with the repopulated wasteland mod running but that is to be expected. EDIT: Just to let the FOOK/WME/AWOP guys know, there are quite a few conflicts between these three mods related to weapons and weapon mods, however its just names and values (as in, shop values). I suspect that the name changes done by FOOK interfere with the weapon mods for Dead Money and Honest Heart weapons, as mods for those guns are the only ones i cant get working (except the Holorifle one). The downside is that now i will have to replay Dead Money at some time or another, and i hated that because its creepy as hell.

  13. I cant enter my Novac hotel room as it crashes when loading. To be exact, the game stops responding but the pipboy radio is still playing and the roulette table loading icon is spinning. If i wait, the roulette table icon disappears and the radio disappears and is replaced by what seems to me like the background sound effects of an undergound area. When it does this the game wont respond and the screen is totally black. I have the Ojo Beuno tecture workshop plugins and a few body replacers. The thing that really annoys me is the Motel room was working fine until just before the recent patch.... I cant remember what caused the room to bug out, but i havent got any mods, as far as i know, which modified the Novac motel room. I can also go into every other motel room with the loading screen only taking less than 1 second.....and they are nearly all identical to mine.
