Hi Nexus team, I completely agree with SydneyB. I am especially looking forward to the new NMM version :-)

Thanks for informing the community immediately. Unfortunately this kind of malware can block the entire system, even when trying to remove it in save mode. I experienced similiar scam here. Malwarebytes, btw., with essential features is freeware and worth to run and update it regularly.

In case, that a current version does not properly work on my system, I try a previous one (that run fine before) temporarily/until a new version is provided. Previous versions of NMM can be found in the forum here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/896029-nexus-mod-manager-release-notes/ On DuskDweller`s contribution go to buttom "prevous builds" and click on "show" button.

The latest version runs fine for me. The new features are brilliant.
