This is my latest drawing, yet it isn't finished. I started on it last night

and have been doodling with it for about 6 hours now.

For the first time in a very long time I've been using color pencil to color it. I found out that

I lack quite many colors so I can't really complete it before I've bought some new pens.

Anyhow, here's a peek. Credits to Kungfubelly, for some inspiration.

I think I'll have a lil break from trying to get the radio up and running. For the very moment I'm just getting annoyed by looking at it and that's

no good. I have a few other things to fix up apart from the radio, maybe should get going on those for a bit.

The spalsh and the puddle looks like a spalsh and a puddle, didn't connect 'em to something though. :unsure:

 

Anyhow, it's a very nice drawing, makes it tempting to pick up the 'ol pencils again. ;D

Oh yes, it is nebulas they were callded, silly me, i forgot the word so I went for "stars and such". Back to the school bench. ;D

I figured at least that life/death were theme in the picture cause of the horse and the fire. Should had figured

The fire (I hope I'm seeing right now) looks real nice, also the stars is nicely done!

Wish I could do nice stars with pencils, though I don't use that too often.

That's an good idea Skree. Haven't done any tests with vanilla songs yet.

 

Edit: Alright, same result with the vanilla songs.

I got 2 ideas now.

 

1. I re-export my .wav files with different export settings and test them,

 

2. I'll try to edit someone elses radio, replacing the songs, some re-naming and such and see

if it jumps from working to non working.

 

It might also be a possibility that my Geck requires an re-install.

So, the path is right and all, by what I can see.

And it is actually a wav and not just a renamed mp3 or something?

And you do hear other radio stations? Radio does have a separate volume control... :)

 

Yes, both are pure .wav files. Made in FL studio and exported from there as .wav

I can heard the other radios loud and clear in-game.

But I wish it would have been the volume control that would have been the "error". Then I could

at least just felt silly, laugh at it and tell myself to put the brain in next time.

Do you detect the signal and just can't hear anything?

If you go to the edit response window on one of your radio topics (radiohello) and doubleclick that "path" to your sound file, does it play?

 

Yes, I do get the signal and the station, but no sound, and it does play in the response window. :confused:

I've checked them a few times, to see if the .wav files in somehow weren't "connected" to given greeting/song.

Ok, I wrote about this last night (though the topic did dissaper) I did get some tips that I did follow, though the problem would remain.

I donno how many times I've been peeking in the tutorial to see what I might have missed. I also donno

how many times I've started over and followed the steps in the tutorial over and over. I'm missing something, I just know I do, but I

don't manage to see what I am missing. So, this time, I've been taking screens of everything, hopefully someone got

better eyes than me.

 

(The whole thing is that Users remains 0 and Start Game Enabled remains N

while it should be 2 and Y.)

It apperes as that the problem is lying on the CD itself in this case.

Ah, yes, forgot to mentioned that I do my tests with a new game, I should add that.

 

It began with version uh... well, it started the first time I ran the game for the first time and listened to the Enclave radio just outside the vault.

I've done same tests as you mentioned earlier after each re-install, also after patch 1.6 and for a few minutes ago even patch 1.7 ( figured I hadn't tested with that patch yet).

 

Yes, too many re-installs than I can remember and my soundcard should be okay as far as I know, I updated it yesterday.

 

Maybe my vanilla sound .bsa on the CD have gotten corrupted in somehow... :unsure: If that would be the case I'll need to buy a new "Lunch box".

Your idea have been tested, once again. No, it isn't the first time I do a test like that, the result were sadly as expected. A crash once again. :(

 

But still I do find it very unlikely that a mod can cause a problem that started before I even had any mods/dcl, as I mentioned.

Maybe the issue isn't caused by FO3 itself or any mods...but then what would it be... Oh well, if you get another idea, please shoot, I'm running dry myself.

Seeing that you are using 1.5, is it the offical? As I've heard all over the place the offical 1.5 is recomended to stay away from.

Try patch up to 1.6 and see if the issue solves.
