  1. well thats odd, i knew that knock enemy down with shotguns and already take stay back perk is for player only....not vice versa..perhaps you can listed your mods so anyone here can figure which mod can do these player knock down..
  2. happen with the cigarette carton only ? using any cigarette texture replacer ? to be sure, you need to find out if that cigarette cartoon are comes from DC Interior mod (included) or is it comes from vanilla.. the easiest method for me is locate the cigarette cartoon mesh (nif) and fix the texture path correctly with nifskope..
  3. install them again, and try to install it manually, SKSE first than SKY UI and launch the game with SKSE loader, or set your NMM/mod manager to launch with SKSE.
  4. my suggestion.. My top 9 -Darnified UI -FWE -Marts Mutant Mods -Weapon Mod Kits -RH_Ironsight -Pipboy readius -Anthony Lings Coiffure - Hair Eyes Lashes -Fallout 3 Re-animated -Energy Visual Enhanced Misc -Body Replacer (Dimon99 Type 3, And Breeze Body) -New Save Hotkey (good for avoiding corrupted quick save) -Sprint Mod -iGrenade -DK_BulletTime -Fellout -Fallout Street Light Building/Home -Underground Hideout -Expanded Megaton house + My Megaton House For fun -Umpa animation -The Groovatron -Some Poses Companion -Sydney Companion -Brisa Almodovar Textures -NMC Texture Pack Sound -wasteland ambient 2 those are my list...whats your ?
  5. Guess you need to tweak the armor mesh (the nif file) regarding for naming the left arm correctly, where there is a pipboyoff and pipboyon, forgot how it work though (when i still love using vanilla pipboy back then) if you know how to use nifskope just try to open vanilla power armor to give you better information.. my best suggestion, use AlexScorpion Pipboy Readius for replacing Pipboy.
  6. it maybe not really related about the topic at all, but for all of you guys and gals that already using the HD texture add on, just want to know about.. is it worth it, you know, to get these HD texture add on ? already using many texture replacer tho, really want to know your opinion about it
  7. it can work just fine, of course assuming that your friend has good proccesor and ram as well. Even if you have the fastest gpu in the world but using ancient processor and 1 gig of memory than yes you will have beatifull graphics but will suffer huge lags... list all the hardware, so anyone here can give you better answer..
  8. Thats why i'm not using NMM, maybe you want check here for better explanation about how to install Darn UI, it using FOMOD script tho which is use with FOMM i dont know if it can work with NMM as well..
  9. aha yes, same thing happen with me, objects/items/armors/weapons that has more than 1024X1024 will mostly goes corrupt in game like turning into purple or black and white gradient in my second computer running WIN XP SP2, mostly happen with male face (Geonox HD male face), Glass armor (A highres 2048x Glass armor and weapons), my custom armor (curently using 2048 res too) and some objects....and yes, after that happen a minute or more, my skyrim goes poof aka ctd. Pretty odd compared to FNV which i'm using several high res for stuffs but still run with no problem. Already tried to lower them my self into 1024, helped a bit but still sometimes it occured again.. Dont know for sure, but is it need some kind of archiveinvalidation just like FO3/FNV but for skyrim ? coz they are basicly same engine..
  10. make sure you have ArchiveInvalidation set on and set auto detect game path in nifskope. sometimes in geck you still see the old texture (even if you already replacing it) than i guess you need to update it which is to locate the file again.
  11. Fore was right, skyrim bow is completely different with oblivion bow. Already tried several times to bring my custom bow mesh into skyrim and somehow always failed to make it work with skyrim bow animation, thought it just matter of skinning my bow mesh from vanilla ironbow.nif as reference and finalizing it in nifskope, but still did'nt worked. the thing is, when i was working on custom bow mesh i can easily imported vanilla skyrim bow (ironbow.nif) for reference with just simply deleted some of (which i forgot) the parts in nif file so blender can import the mesh with proper weights and bones, but as for now, somehow i keep failing to import skyrim bows, always get phyton error...totally forgot what settings i use back then...
  12. the mesh are the same, so you only need the texture (i guess ?) curently i'm using Millenia WRP texture, and it works great (the gun only, no scope).
  13. big exclamation mark can also cause by the game cant locate the mesh file, so make sure you installed the mod corectly.
  14. ini file are located in my document/mygames, try to search there where you should find fallout.ini and falloutpref.ini. And from the screenshot yes that is most likely cause the fallout cant find the replacer texture which can be avoid by ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated or you did'nt placed the textures file corectly in textures folder... if you start to use many mod and increasing it better to order them with mod manager, i advised you to get NMM or FOMM (integrated with ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated i'f i remember corectly)
  15. well, it worked for me ever since F03/FNV as long you already placed your own mesh (replacer or standalone) before you start skyrim, i.e you replacing vanilla hide helmet with your own helmet mesh, but yes sometime the game cant recognized the changes so all i do is rename the mesh with just typing random number/alphabet at front than back to the game, unequip and re-equip the helmet, it should give you the popular <!> sign (cant find the mesh) than just rename the mesh back at it was and ingame you should see the changes. pretty stupid i know, but it worked tho. about sizes, yup i do have the same thing no matter what changes i do in blender it always end up to big or way to small, but wth because i was modding for myself, right now i just modify the _0 one, and replace _1 with it.....was hoping someone can inform a better/easier way to work this skinny to large morpher thing or maybe better a new version of Conformulator tool by scanti that can work with skyrim and not just for helmet will be awesome.
  16. i'd say trial and error, thats what i do tho. kept blender, nifskope open and run skyrim to see the result in game, when i was trying to shape imperial helmet into those troy/spartan helmet look alike couple weeks ago, so if its to big or to small than just head back in blender to tweak it again, simply replace the mesh than back to skyrim again to see the changes. guess i'm a really an alt tab guy. Or you can just importing the _0 and _1 vanilla helmet as reference.
  17. desperately to find portable workbench mod that compatible for modifying weapons from Weapon mod kits from antistar and of course vanilla weapon creating system.. thanks..
  18. afaik you can only set that with CK or skyedit for choosing body slot that were use, armors/clothings/gears are usually was set as standalone but some are bipe into another gears like hood, glove or maybe boots (i.e thalmor robe with hood).
  19. Everytime i install FO3/FNV, DarN UI always the first mod that install, gotta say i'm big fan of his/her work but somehow i dont hear any news or info about DarN UI was develope for Skyrim. Yeah i know theres already plenty of UI mods like SkyUI, IpHud etc, dont get me wrong they are great mods especially SkyUI. Lets say that DarN UI style really fit with my taste.. guess DarN has left building ? hope not...oh DarN where art thou ?
  20. i really need tutorial for reworking bow or bring new bow with working animation into skyrim please. thanks
  21. have you tried apply transformation after you do the transform ? and if the mesh you transform are skinned you should get a warning that transforming on skinned/animated mesh won't work properly as you expected ....and that is the reason why transforming skinned/animated mesh in nifskope is not always a good idea, well you can tho, but afaik you can only move them slightly. my best suggestion is try to learn using blender or 3Dmax, i choose blender coz its free and theres plenty of blender tutorials you can find.
  22. my best suggestion, of course saving money for new Proccesor.. for advice, setting down nvidia panel for performance and lower down your view distance, settings that really hit your proccesor when you explore open world (skyrim launcher setting)..just give it half bar and give it a try. lower the shadow, radial blur and decal, off the reflect things, use approriate AA that suits you...for texture mod, try to use vanilla resolution avoid the 2048+ texture replacer, installed skyrim in my nephew comp with spec X2 245, 2GB gig, GTX 260, Win XP SP2 and so far it work just fine (no mods tho). you can add tesval or skyboost, and you might need this AntiFreeze as well.
  23. unweighted vertices, for me i will manually weight paint the vertices that was highlighted for appropriate bones, change your view with weight painting so you can exactly see the weight colour for that vertices after that just head down to vertex group dropbox and choose BP_(part names) and paint that part according to its surrounded colour or you can just hit assign button in vertex group section.
  24. sometimes it can hit your GPU card (happen to me once when i was tweaking enb mods), have you try to bench it with furmark or something like that ? if its get to hot very quick or you get some artefak on screen, it would be better to replace it, or try to reinstall the driver..
  25. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3790 works great for me...
