  1. LOL Esteris, still on your mods bugging  Just an important info, I don't know if you know that but Oblivion doesn't support more than 250 active mods (don't count bash patched). And the simple fact of HAVING more then 250 esp files in your Oblivion folder leads to CTDs and bugs. So an advise would be to put your unactive esps in a another folder. This has made my game for more stable. Don't remove the Bash Patched ESP though !
  2. Can you list your mod order please. There is a reknown bug if you use both 300_Lore_Dialogue and Liberation of the Cybiades : the dialogues disapear.

Male, Female, no difference ? Gamers ? Now this is where modernity and me just part from one another. I don't have any moral or philosophical arguments or judgement against this statement. I only have an aesthetic point of vue. And your point of vue is the path to general boredom and dullness. Come on ! What I love in a women is not what we have in common, but the difference between us, and the fact that I urge for that difference as to complete me. The more she is a contradiction to my personality and way of being, the more I will desire her. I like differences, well to a certain point. Girls gamers on the forum pop out of the anonymous mass of male forumers. That is just a fact. And weather they like it or not, that makes them a bit unique, and they often recieve a more galant and attentioned treatment. Their presence here is vivid and refreshing, and one is always keen to know their opinion, way of thinking, interests. Of course, if there is no difference between a boy gamer and a girl gamer, then I am all wrong. Oh my god, I just figured out I might be a Fascist by stating such a thing ! I have the nack to not explain myself very well x'D I guess I can say that I have a point of view simillar to yours, in what relates to gaming, and perhaps many other things. What I meant by what I said was that we all want to play games, so why does it matter if we are boy or girl, all we want is to have fun  Then we fully agree !

This is funny. Can you believe that no further then a week ago, as I have moved in my own flat, with a laundry machine :whistling: , I phoned my sister so she could explain me how to use it ? " The phone rings : - Hello ? - High sis, it's me ! - Oh ! Hello grand brother ! (not a cherokee family just to keep names anonymous  ) - Erh... I called because I need you to explain me how to use a laundry machain. I mean explain everything from A to Z. - (...) " A easy real 5 minutes of laughing at me on the phone and a pleasant humiliation as I pretty much looked like that guy on the add as she guided me, except that had a phone in the right hand and was younger and less fit though  .

  9. You should follow dezdimona advice, and also consider using either Olivion Mod Manager or Wrye Bash, to make clean install and merge conflicting mods. Here is a beginners link : http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index...livion_Mods_FAQ You must go through this, no choice. and OBMM OBMM If you need further info, pm me or ask here, I will try to help.
  10. I have had problems with BP too. Consider using COBL cosmetic pack, way more compatible. And if there is pink this means you have made a bad install. You better use OBMM and OMOD the file (its the installer format of Oblivion Mod Manager) . My opinion. Here is the link to OBMM. OBMM PM if you need more info I will try to help as much as I can.
  11. Agreed. Single player games is there speciality. Resist to the MMO mania, please. However, making there future game more interactive as so don't feel the only living player that moves and live in the world. And, at thought, a nice simple multiplayer game such as diablo had, would still be cool. :whistling:

Well actually, I approve this picture, ha ! Why ? Because its based on clichees... and I love clichees. Clichees turn my on. Life would be so boring and complicated if one had a perfect and instant vision of the being your are facing. It so nice to have premade ideas on him/her and having to little by little discover how much he/her is unique and original although he is part, as we all are, of : definitions, categories, concepts, etc. See, on my right, there's Herculine, a girl gamer that knows much more than I on games, computers, etc, and on my left, my dear sisters, who is the perfect cute no to clever girl, that can barely handle the mouse. Does this make my sister an old-fashioned phallocratic female supporter ? Does this make Herculine the cutting edge of modern women and the representant of women future ? Nope. So about this picture : its neither true or wrong, its a clichee : full of truth, and full of lies. And I love clichees. http://www.curiousromain.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/lg_gd4.jpg Translated : "Man understand - dirty clothes - machine"
  13. You welcome Aquafortis, hope I helped  . And thank you for the quote. I must admit I adore Nietzsche. @dezdimona You are right, but I think what Aquafortis is trying to do here hasn't been done before. OOO is a huge mod, but not a huge alteration of Oblivion. It changes what existed and makes it better. In the case of Aquafortis, in a way, its like creating a new game with the Oblivion engine, rather then modding current Oblivion.
  14. Very interesting info bben ! Some I have learned just here and know.
  15. You know you aren't forced to keep Farwil alive to achieve the quest right ?
  16. There is actually a mod that adds children to the city. And i think it is MoDems City Life. With that you can see kids running and playing in the town, which is cool. Of course, out of town, no children.

  18. Hello Aquafortis, First, you will have to get through this in any case : Construction set wiki Here is what I can anwser : Multidimensionality : You can have buildings floating in the air. I know some Home mods have added floating moutains. Others have added a village in huge trees way up in the air. Now, I don't know if you can forbid a certain player to not see it. Oblivion works with worldspaces (see wiki link). Attributes : This is possible, to a certain extent. Check COBL (birthsigns and such section) and Race Balancing Project for inspiration. Google it. Dungeons : yes, some mods already do this, don't remember which. Spells : I do not know for this specific use, as I think no mods have ever did something like this. Check out Midas Magic Spells, and LAME for inspiration and to see if they do such things. LAME i am sure not as I use it. But Midas seems to add tons of features and magic contents. Astrological signs : should be possible. Spirits : interesting idea but I do not know if it is possible. Class : now removing totaly the class system seems difficult. It is likely that you will have to adjust your system to the existing one. The main reason being compatibility issues and stability. Remarks : this seems and interesting project, and quite ambitious. It will take you, I guess, a lot of time and work. The problem is, this mod being very original, you won't be able to benefit from experienced modders. Therefore you will be discovering alone unknow ressources in the modding of Oblivion. Therefore, that will take a lot of time, testing, etc. But I'm not experienced enough to state for sure.
  19. Hmm aren't the DLC included in the GOTY edition ?
  20. Good to know you are getting threw it  . As an alternative, I would suggest to Beautiful People I use COBL which includes a cosmetic pack, along with TNR, Tamriel NPC Revamp, which is amazing as it will use the ressources in the cosmetic pack (so NPCs and not only the player will have new eyes, new hairs etc), and along with IFT, Improved Facial Texture which completes the previous by revamping the face itself. The result is most satasfactory. Use OMODs and Bashed Patch though if you install them. They work together fine then.
