I might have found the culprit and if so it's not our mods. In the character selection screen when laoding a game I found 3 seprate instances of Zigfried my character and they appear to be at difrent stages. It may happen when doing a named console save or other hard save. I've never been one to turst autosaves so in all Bethesda games i've always made named saves using the console. Unfortunately Skyrim saves are numbered not named anyone know how to tell what save goes to what character? I believe it's the first set of numbers hmm...

I'll post what I remember I was just kind of goofing aroound with SE at that point mostly seeign if it was worthit ot make the move form oldrim. On that save I broke one of the caridnal rules of modding changing mods fairly willy nilly. I don't think I cacutlaly hadthat many hours into the character I started in windhelm did some rndom quests walked to riften did a side quest or twothen drklight tower. At that point I madethe ciruit acorsstherift and up thorugh whiterun and backto windhelm then waso ff to solitude and started crashign aorundthe robber's gorge area. On the current character I have many many nore hours in and the CTD began at the throat of the world after season unending. Mods in the first run thorugh that I remember: Those are the ones I remember all done with mostly Bethesda net. Ugh sorry for the typos it's 3am and I cna't sleep but not that awake either :(

I am having the same issue In fact this is the second time with SSE that it has started happening. In fact last time I completley rippedo ut SSE and redid my load order from scratch. The first time was only with a couple dozen mods not the 107 I have on this profile

Nevermind I apparently fixed the problem and didn't realize it weird.

I've spent the better part of the last day and a half trying to resolve thisp roblem and I have run out of ideas and am hoping someone can help me. I have been running with Audio overhaul for Skyrim and Climates of Tamriel for some time now and they worked fine without any ocmpatability patches or anything. Recently i added severla new mods getting ready for a new playthrough. When I started that playthrough I suddenly realized I was hearing the vanilla summoning sound and soon after realized I also wasn't hearing the climates of tamriel sounds either. So I went hunting for compatability patches that didn't fix it. I then went on to spend an inordinate amount of time going through my load order one mod at a time. Running boss and picking through the logs for any red flags, still I coudlnt' get the sounds back. I can't figure out what it could be load order shouldn't be much of a deal for AoS. the only thing I can think of isthat yesterday morning I installed and ran Wrye Bash for Oblivion (not skyrim) and somehow i messed something up when i was instlaling oblivion mods? is that possible?

Forgive me, I don't get it what's the affinity sword? It just looks like you are running through a dark cave hacking and slashing.

number 1 mod, Ugh I have so many now i don't know that I could choose a number one. At the Moment the Shivering Isles :) race, Hmm Have to be Altmer I like having loads of Magicka no matter the "class" all my characters use 1-3 schools of magic. weapon, At the moment Duskfang/Dawnfang type of weapon, Bows tied with one handed blades type of armor Light (but really depends on the character) magic spell Summon Haskil! oh and Kneel (damage/drain fatigue over time) Dischord, (Area Frenzy, Invisibility equal time) hang out spot Castle Almgard, Anvil food Cyrodilic Brandy daedrea Deadroth

Hello there, my first post on these forums! I highly recommend Castle Almgard. I'm at work or i'd have a link handy to give you, but it should be easy enough to find. I'ts a very nice very large castle complete with a small army of guards and servants, secret passages, companion quarters an empty room for manequins and so much more! There's no quest to get it unless you count rasing 100,000 septims to purchase it. The smith sels some nice armor and weapon sets.
