I hear the Mediterranean is lovely this time of year!

I don't like OOO because it takes a lot of the leveled lists, which are one of the game aspects that makes it so cool in my opinion, and makes them static. But I love MMM & Fran's together and highly recommend them because they add enough content to the game to make even an experienced player want to start a new game and play it through.

My Must-haves: CM Partners Mart's Monster Mod Midas Magic Spells of Aurum Francesco's Optional Leveled Creatures and Items Armamentarium for Fran's any female and male body replacers Apachii Goddess Store Apachii Heroes Store Slof's Oblivion Goth Shop. These are the main mods that made me realize I can never again play vanilla Oblivion. A lot of people swear by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, but it makes a lot of things static and one of my favorite things about Oblivion is that it's leveled so I don't use OOO. A lot of the cool stuff in OOO can be found in other mods that don't screw with the leveled lists.

Being a creative person myself, more so with quill and ink than with a CPU, I do know that feeling as well. I suppose that's really why I started this topic: because I'm torn between two worlds. The story of my life...

I'm in no way trying to speak for my friend, but if I had to guess I'd say Dezdimona would tell you to write what you feel if you believe it needs to be written. Am I right, Big Sister?

I'm thankful that we have the Construction Sets for both Morrowind and Oblivion; I believe it's mods that keep these great games alive for most of us. But I can't help but feel that these tools totally shatter the illusion of game immersion for us. Being able to see everywhere and to see things I shouldn't know exist (like reference markers, for example), being able to manipulate everything in the world like a deity and seeing just how autonomous the AI setup is after having been so impressed by it -- things like this took much of the wonderment out of the game experience for me. I'm not trying to say that I wish the CS never existed because I love mods and modding, I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same way I do. Does using things like TES4Gecko, Wrye Bash and the Construction Set spoil the immersion for you?

There's no real tutorial that I know of. To make your own sig you have to take the images you want to use (like my little fairy) and upload them to another site like MySpace, Photobucket or DeviantArt. Then you go to your profile page to the section that says 'Edit your signature' and type in the full url of the image using the BB code.
