  1. I tried to do this yesterday but I couldn't figure out which of the thousands of textures I extracted were the blood ones.
  2. I noticed that after applying the white handle, it would look strange depending on the direction of the light. Sometimes half of it would look white while the other would look very dull and dark. It seemed to be a problem with the normal map. Some of the 3D Relief will still be lost depending on the angle since it's not actually there and it's just tricking the lighting. Anyway, this is how I made it look:

  5. If things disappear after you save them, it's possible that the save configuration that you chose wasn't compatible and caused corruption. I just tried saving the TM file as a DXT5 and it ended up corrupting the image. Anyway, when I first edited NM of the Dark Buckler, because the color wasn't the same used in the rest of the NM files, it didn't work and caused the item to look very bland and dark in-game. It doesn't matter the angle I chose, half of the shield would look pitch black and the other would look very dark, almost flat. i thought it was the CMM so I tried tweaking it without success, but once I restored the original NM file, it recovered its color. After adjusting the color of my custom NM file to match the rest of the NM files, it worked.

  7. For RePacking the Arc with the edited textures, you have to do it in the reverse order of the extraction: Extract Arc >> Extract Tex >> RePack Tex >> RePack Arc. Here's how I do it: - Open DDDA Image Viewer. - Choose the desired Arc and Extract Arc. - Choose the desired texture file from the newly extracted Arc folder and Extract Tex. - Open DDS and edit the textures. - Most of the diffuse maps that I've edited needed to be saved as DXT1 (Opaque/1-Bit Alpha), but only one so far needed to be saved as DXT5 (Interpolated Alpha). - RePack Tex. - Extract Tex and Open DDS. (This step is optional but it's what I do to make sure that the file was saved correctly. If you chose the wrong configuration while saving it, this step will return a corrupted image) - RePack Tex. (If the previous step returns the image as it should be) - RePack Arc.
  8. As far as I know, yes, if you want to install a mod that modifies game_main.arc using NMM, you can only use one or the other. For manual install, you would have to extract the game_main.arc of both mods, combine the files within them and repack them into a single one.
  9. Still looking for the item id for the voldoan armor ? Yes, I have no clue of where the textures and models are. I've found the Nameless Armor like 6 times and a few of the other outfits, but no clue of the Voldoan Armor.
  10. Well, we can use custom textures right now, but I don't know about custom models. I believe someone in the forum posted about successfully importing a custom male body model, I'm not sure if anyone else has managed to do it.
  11. So many files, so many of them look the same, I can't wait for a full list. Right now I'm mostly trying to check armor and weapons. I've been trying to find the damn Voldoan Armor files but no luck so far.
  12. Man, I can only do texture mods and somewhat model swaps but this is the mod that I want the most. I tried replacing some of the bld files with the sld ones, but it didn't seem to matter how many of them I changed, there was no change in game, at least not a visual change. Things started to seem more complex when I tried to use the LMT extractor. :sad:

  14. I've been trying to make model swaps work perfectly but no luck so far. The only way they've been working is by not having the item equipped when you load the save, if it's equipped then it'll crash, and it's also possible that the game will crash under other circumstances. I managed to get it to work, but I can't find the files for the Godsbane sword.

  16. I'm looking at ptential pieces and I think I've come across a good match. It's a shame there's nothing to be worn as sunglasses, but oh well, the rest I can probably do, I'll have to test some files first.
  17. The way I use to get the textures I want is to use Texmod logging mode to extract the textures I want from an item. However, Texmod won't give you the names of the files, but it'll show what it looks like and the dimensions of the file. After that, all you have to do after dumping is set the dump folder to sort files by dimensions and you'll have an easier time finding the files you need.
  18. NPCs use different models than the player, that's why they get unique hairstyles, faces and beards. Even their armor, while obtainable to the player, is separate from the one you can wear.
  19. It's not possible to add new hairstyles, all you can do is edit the current ones and you can't really do much to them anyway.
  20. The best you can do without mods is to get a Ring of Life Protection or a Ring of Soul Protection and keep it equipped all the time. When you die it breaks but you don't lose souls or go hollow, then you can go to a blacksmith and repair it. It's pretty much a no death penalty ring.

  22. Now that EW is out, does anyone know how to unlock all the armor deco?
