  1. In their current situation, obviously. Topic is about creating a force, not salvaging a force :whistling:
  2. Ashur's been in the pitt for on and about 20 years as well :P The outcasts split off more recently, though I don't remember exactly how much or even if it's told. They're able to hold their own with ease against mostly anything the CW throws at them anyway, though I haven't seen them fight an enclave squad yet, nor would I sit back on that one :P
  3. Her moustache has a mind of its own, and though it's obviously able to manifest itself every here and there I believe the real Moira retains enough control over her facial hair to refrain it from committing any acts of evil. That is, of course, coming at the price of her own sanity, and of those surrounding her :teehee:
  4. Yet Ashur and the Outcasts share their feelings concerned the BoS as Lyons made it to be, the Outcast mentality concerning the wasteland scum is not so much different from how Ashur ends up (If you're running FOOK2, listen to the Gary holotape in the OA base) and while Ashur's futuristic tech capabilities aren't exactly something to write home over, he does run a functioning ammo press (something the real brotherhood and thus the Outcasts should care about, as evident in the scarce dialogue that is written) and an endless supply of light infantry. They can both help each other out. I always felt there should be some way of at least informing Ashur or any brotherhood faction of recent events concerning each other, and possibly reconciling the both. And no matter what way you turn it, the Outcasts would by far provide the best match.
  5. I don't know! :teehee: But on my best attempt: if the game still gives the error after deselecting all mods you're running, then I would assume the save to be corrupted where PL is concerned. And in that scenario, I really don't know what the best course of action would be :$
  6. Project beaty certainly doesn't interfere with bobbleheads as far as I know. I don't run FWE myself but I remember at least having a setting concerning bobbleheads, not sure if it's from FOOK2 or another mod but if as you said FWE is set to give you points, then perhaps FOOK2 is to blame. Tried working with that readme of inaccuracy or the options menu yet?
  7. Somehow the Outcasts remind me of the Telvanni, and if any half decent effort was made at making factions react at all apart from the most obvious events (and even that is pushing it) a LW with the right style should be able to at the very least create a pretty good relationship with the Outcasts.
  8. I agree, those two things could improve fallout a whole lot :teehee:
  9. I find the outcasts actually much more relaxing to hang around with, if I could they'd be the faction I'd support. Every time I can take out an enclave soldier that's a new set of superior power armor for them to use, and more weaponry to use. Unlike the BoS, I doubt the outcasts would have trouble in leaping over to more advanced tech when it's available (BoS only takes a vertibird or two, strategics are apparently not their thing), and they'd have access to CSS's and Gauss rifles in addition to being quick to salvage the technical specializations of the other factions. I also have a feeling Ashur, having similar feelings towards Lyons BoS, would be more eager to coƶperate with the Outcasts, being able to supply a manufacturing industry as well as a healthy supply of suicide troops in exchange for the scientific and medicinal aid the Outcasts can offer to combat the Trog Syndrome. Together, they should prove to be a pretty powerful faction in the Capital Wasteland, much more than so alone.
  10. Never owned both :teehee: but the hunting rifle is my favourite unit anyway, had to make a game forbidding the use of any small gun to break away from using it.
  11. How many times would optimus have to hit himself with his weapons to deplete his health?
  12. I encountered the polygon once too, on AAF, on a game where the only installed mod was the MMM package (not counting DLC's). Are you running that one too?
  13. Sure, go ahead and share, or donate it to underground hideout
  14. It stands for Fallout Overhaul Kit, by the way :P It's pretty fun to play with, but expect repairing to be messed up en masse.
  15. Googled Optimus Prime to see what I was comparing stuff with and found this: http://blogs.sfweekly.com/shookdown/optimus-prime-masturbation.thumbnail.jpg Edit: Image tagged it as apparently it's not evading censors :teehee:
  16. Are you sure you're installing mods to the Fallout3/Data directory?
  17. Came across that yesterday too, you were not the only one getting 'it' :whistling: Think it's Fook2 though :teehee:
  18. Tried cross once, within minutes of leaving the citadel she suicided into an enclave camp with a deathclaw. Had it quicksaved a moment before that happened, so I could play the scenario for six more times until I said *ban me* it and took her armor for myself. Now I'm three games further and decided I'd make one with a permanent companion, chose Lucy West from the FOOK2 package because unlimited ammo on that laser rifle of hers is pretty nice, but the further I'm getting the more of a hassle it is to keep her alive. Pretty fun, actually, though they really could've done a better job on combat dialogue.
  19. Try a different set of overhaul mods? Doing one with FOOK2 now and it's much different from the other ones I've played, though a strict energy+bigs only and 40% xp rate might have helped in shaping the early game more than I realize :/
  20. I'm afraid I can't help, but I just wanted to post that your title reminded me of a song by Tenacious D
  21. Will do next week, will let ya know if it works :P
  22. Tried that of course, but doesn't really help. It's not just a single metro station either
  23. I don't have the Geck, unfortunately :/ Will download it the next time I'll have access to my little brothers pc, until then I don't think he will be able to do that for me
  24. They did it with Morrowind, which had about 3000 unique NPC's, all of them being named and even the generic dialogue was unique to the person being talked to. The unique and quest dialogues, well, any random quest puts the fallout quests to shame where dialogue is concerned, in my opinion. The only thing that could even be considered a tiny excuse as for why fallout does not have at least a fraction of that is the hard space the voice files occupy, but I believe there was plenty of space left to fill. It's not like it should be hard to set up a small studio somewhere in a city and offer people 15 bucks to spend 10 minutes voicing a character either, that too would've helped alot.
