  1. Ohhh I agree. Thanks to everyone who spends time and effort into making all the mods. Because of Mods, it made me play my copy of Oblivion for almost 3 extra years lol.
  2. That's pretty neat. Pretty fun to listen to. Seems there's some pretty good Skyrim based music being made lol.
  3. Pretty cool if you can get it made. Although I don't know about selling one unless you bought them from your smith friend.
  4. I once had 4 dragons spawn near me for some odd reason. Was near a small farm, and had 3 ancients and a frost dragon on me. Was so crazy, let me tell you. Had to hide in the mill to heal and I lagged so bad =O. Hasn't happened yet, but sometimes I still get 2 spawning on me
  5. Who says they aren't a new type of class of creature? As weird as that sounds.
  6. My biggest problem with Markarth is that at the end of the city quest line it doesn't feel like anything has changed with the city atmosphere.
  7. Im hopin that if they do release DLC for Skyrim in the future that they'll add a bit more depth to the game other than new dungeons and enemies. New quests would be interesting that utilized the players thinking laterally. Like the "whodunnit" quest in Windhelm, or maybe even an entire dungeon devoted to puzzles, with the deeper you go the better the prize you get.
  8. I like the idea of hand gestures. Would definetly be an improvement in how you utilized followers when you can give them commands and do things like set up ambushes, or just have them stick in the back and wait sometimes. Plus, I like the idea of having more than one follower at a time. Imagine clearing out dungeons with a small army ;). And then sending them to your home to drop all the loot off to sell. Personally what I'd like to see is the chance to have your followers learn different abilities. Like some could learn healing abilities, some can learn magic, some with better archery, ect. Or, have 5 followers learn conjuration and keep summoning flame atronachs. My poor framerate =P
  9. I don't know why, but this reminds me of the time I was dinking around with Wabbajack and turned a guard into a giant in the middle of whiterun. Ohhhh, that was a fun day seeing how many people can be sent to the moon.
  10. Whew. Makes me glad I took my internet service off for my Xbox then since I don't have gold membership. Im still playing it without patches.
  11. I like how I'm not allowed to have an opinion on my own fun. Just because a lot of hard work went into it doesn't mean it's the greatest thing ever. But all of that aside I liked it, even though a lot of things felt a little off. While I have no doubt modders will be able to fix a lot of the problems or even improve on things, the point is it's not too much of a drastic leap forward compared to Oblivion. They streamlined some things, made a better engine, and such but it doesn't feel like it'll set an industry standard. Still I put in close to 100 hours on the game so it's fun and that's all that really matters. Also thank god it's not online. I couldn't imagine Skyrim as an MMO, specially since I just weaned myself off of one recently.
  12. Not a bad idea really. I had done some modding and light scripting in Oblivion to get an idea of how it's done, and thought about going hardcore modding for Skyrim. One of the idea's I had was an idea to "conquer" the various different holds since your character is the Dragonborn like Tiber Septim was, which would enable you to get some pretty neat features. Have to see what I can play around with and see once the CK comes out.
  13. I don't really share in the pessimism in that it's going to be a cash grab for Modders hard work or anything of that sort. I have a feeling Skyrim will continue on with how Bethesda deals with mods and the modding community like it did with Oblivion previously. Especially considering that it seems that the only reason Oblivion was as popular for as long as it was was because of mods such as Nehrim, Lost Towers, Deadly Reflexes and other big named mods (and to an extent to, the adult mods as well). Why risk alienating a large part of your customer base when you can keep them interested in the game for years because of the potential of free addons made from other players? As far as the original post is concerned, I have no idea what they could possibly be releasing alongside the creation kit. Could possibly be a DLC with a new faction, or a few quests, or just more information about the CK itself.
  14. I completly agree. Cause it gets a bit tiring going out and doing all of these quests and such that prove how tough and durable (not to mention macho) that my character is, but don't get one bit of respect. Is really maddening that you can walk around in glowing deadric armor with the blood of your enemies still fresh on you, and even kids sneer at you and make condescending remarks.
  15. Really now? Any links to something like that? I figured the animations in this game would be much harder to produce and alter. Didn't think it would be that quickly. Back to on topic though. I'd imagine that being able to s**g your wife will be one of the first mods that'll be out. I give it a week, or two weeks at the most.
  16. I kinda gotta agree with ya. It really doesn't feel all that different other than an upgraded Oblivion. Considering I been playing Oblivion for years still, and even intend to go back to it to finish some mods I didn't get a chance to play, that's not a bad thing. But it doesn't feel like a vast improvement. Skyrim's done a lot of things a lot better, but some things I'm sad they didn't improve on as much.
