  1. I'm very good at writing in-character scholarly type books and/or journals, so if anyone does decide to make this mod go ahead and contact me. I can work within any parameters you give me, or if you aren't really a story person I can create explanations for why the mod works the way it does in-game.
  2. Both those images were already in another magazine. They are not new.

Edit: For the gay marriages part if I remember according to the lore, it is illegal in Tamriel for gay marriages. I might be wrong though.

I don't think they ever talk about marriage in the Elder Scrolls except for that couple in Bruma in Oblivion who talk about how they don't want a chapel marriage.

  3. Maybe yes GenocideLolita but then again why dont make something more out of that then the typical *ahh evil dragon...bash bash...i got povah ...yeah!*

It does not have to be companion like i said but why dont make more out of it...surely these dragons are dangerous but i hope there will be more depth to them then just cutting and slashing in the typical human behaviour.

Except Harry Potter dragons aren't sentient.

Also, I think different colors of dragons would be nice, so long as they aren't a rainbow or anything. :P

  4. Actually, no, I'd report them for the TOS violations that the troll options in the negative endorsements are already allowing them to get away with.

1 little thumbs down really bugs you that much huh? What do you do when you walk down the street and someone gives you a dirty look?

Tackle them and repeatedly bludgeon them in the face with whatever object I happen to be holding.

  5. Male Imperial or High Elf.

The only time I've ever played a female was in a brief stint as a banshee living in a cave. Periodically she would exit and harass the town people by stealing their things and paralyzing them. I'm not sure the undead in Oblivion even count as having a gender. :P

  7. I am optimistic about it, simply because western culture is infectious. People love freedom to do whatever the damn well please, regardless of if it is good for them or not. You have to totally shield your people from western culture like North Korea does to keep them from wanting freedom of choice and all the other "Enlightenment ideas" out there.
  8. I agree, Lehcar. It should be acceptable for both sexes to go topless in the same sort of places--like the beach, one's own garden, and so on.

I agree with the BlackBaron about agreeing with Lehcar. There are places where it should be acceptable for everyone to be topless, and there are places where it should be unacceptable for anyone to be topless.

  9. My personal hypothesis is that at some point China will tell the US to pay up or else they'll attack, and the US will agree to pay their debt for the sake of public image. The US govt. jacks up all the taxes, places massive tariffs on imports, and just generally angers the populace. The US finally has enough to pay China, so they hand the cash over. However, now the US is filled with poverty caused by China so no one wants to buy the cheap and useless merchandise flowing out of Chinese sweat shops. China is okay for a little while because of the money the US gave them, but eventually their economy crashes too. Now both of the former economic superpowers in the world have almost no economic power and are entirely focused on keeping themselves afloat, so they stop exporting. This causes a ripple effect and economies around the world follow suit. North Korea notices their neighbor South Korea is totally ruined, so they move in. The Koreas are now united, and they want some of China, as does Taiwan. At this point, everyone's attention is drawn to the Middle East because of extremist governments that want to take over eachother during this time of weakness. Everyone realizes that the Middle East is full of fossil fuels just ripe for the harvesting, so they move in on the Middle East. The Middle Eastern area makes a valiant effort to protect itself with stockpiles of dirty bombs, but this does nothing but worsen the situation. By now, Korea and Taiwan have moved into China with no reason except for claiming its land, but the UN can't do anything because all the countries are too absorbed in their own economic troubles and the war in the Middle East. Now everyone is fighting over the oil reserves in the Middle East, but no one is strong enough to actually get to them.
  10. Well, if you're a Dragonborn, why should it stop there? You're the one living person in Tamriel who can light the Dragonfires and become Emperor, so it would seem to follow that that's what you eventually do. You'll probably be getting more than you're wishing for.

Looks like your "ultimate" wish is just getting topped. :)

Now I have a burning desire to reclaim the lost provinces of the Empire as the second Tiber Septim. Black Marsh will suffer! One can not simply "secede" from the Empire!

  11. I haven't played any male characters in Oblivion for a long time. But just as in Oblivion, I'm sure Skyrim will end up with lots of female armor and clothing mods, too. Sex sells. There's no arguing with that.

I'm not saying sex doesn't sell, but does it have to be sex with a female? There are other markets out there besides the ones who want to see armor that barely covers female character's breasts up, despite the fact that it should be protecting her entire body.

  12. >OOC There was no need to go off on such a tirade. The reason I said the seeing stone was unharmed was because you were able to barge into my house and destroy things before I could react, and then when I attempted to, you were suddenly able to destroy the skeletal minion I worked on for several posts on end without me having so much as a chance to tell it to attack.
  13. OOC: How did you know that was a proxy? It was a flaming skeleton, and there is no history of anyone ever making anything like it in this game's history.

    N'Kvaka:

N'Kvaka makes a sideways glance at the skeleton's crushed skull, and sees the blackened seeing stone amongst the ashes. It seems uharmed, though the skeleton is broken behind retrieval. Muttering under his breath, he casts a force spell through the seeing throne. It propels the assassin into a wall, stunning him for long enough for the Sload to lift his massive bulk out of the Kriak's reach. He looks down at the assassin, and speaks.

"How were you aware that was a proxy? And what reason do you have for simply barging on to my property, and threatening me with death? I haven't even attempted to harm you, despite your destruction of my home and my experiment. I merely attempted to eject you from my home as peacefully as possible, in this case by trying to scare you with that invaluable creature on the floor. I have nothing to do with your plot or the King's. I am a scientist with no involvement in any of this."

  14. N'Kvaka: Gathering up all of his showmanship, N'Kvaka summoned a spark at the bottom of the robe of the skeletal proxy, lighting the dry velvet on fire. The skeleton was now wreathed in flames and smoke, its skull blackened. The voluminous sleeves of the robe fed the flames like tinder, creating the appearance of a flaming skeletal monster. N'Kvaka's deep throaty voice boomed throughout the house, calling the assassins to the front room to figure out what the hell was going on. N'Kvaka glanced sideways at a black and purple vase the searchers had knocked from a table. Gesturing towards it, and then back to the flaming skeleton, he concocted a lie, relying on his sorcerous appearance and the skeleton's terrifying figure to give it the appearance of truth.

"Fools! That vase was a relic that contained the spirit of a banished demon! I must put it back in its container, or it will destroy the whole island! Flee now, flee as fast and as far as you can!"

To add to the illusion, N'Kvaka quietly caused a simple force spell to emit from the false demon's mouth, knocking down a wall and sending furniture flying around the room.

  15. N'Kvaka: The Sload gazes out his window, watching the carnage. As the flames from one house threaten to light one of the wooden ornaments adorning the window in his attic, he shoots a small stream of water towards it, dousing both his window and the fire. Outside, two women cower in a baker's shop, covering the eyes of their children. The older of the two women locks the door, and scoots the children below the counter. N'Kvaka watches intently as the flames come closer to the baker's shop, turning the small wooden building into a prison.

Behind him, the skeletal proxy stands emotionless, awaiting further command.

  16. N'Kvaka: It takes much energy to keep track of every bone in the body, and N'Kvaka is quickly tired out. He leaves the proxy in his study, and levitates through the streets of the city. In a park, there is a small theater set up, in which marionettes are acting out a play for the younger children of the city. The Sload watches intently, and notices that the women controlling the marionettes only move what needs to be moved to simulate motion. When a marionette turns around to speak to one of its fellows, only its legs are controlled by the puppetmasters. The other limbs hang limply at its sides, only being controlled when needed. Inspired by this, N'Kvaka travels back to his study. Inside, he lights several candles and binds the limbs of the skeleton together with thick leather straps. He makes an attempt to control it.

This time, instead of individually holding onto each bone with his mind, he only controls parts that need to be controlled. The head and jaw hold up the rest of the body, dragging it along. The feet make only the motions necessary to give the appearance of moving, but in reality the head is simply dragging the rest of the body with it. When he cloaks the skeleton in the robe of thick black velvet, it seems as any other person. By skipping all the other motions, the Sload saves the energy that is necessary for him to make the hands act out finer motor skills.

Next, N'Kvaka clothes the skeletal proxy. It wears a robe of black velvet, embroidered with simple magical runes. On the hands are silken red gloves, padded to conceal the fleshless fingers. Over the face, it wears a white mask, with only the slightest hints of facial features. The skeleton cuts a believable, but very imposing figure.

The Sload practices casting spells through the skeleton, but notes that the spells will only originate from the facial area. He supposes this is because the orb of seeing is located inside the skull. However, his spellcasting skills are undiminished through the proxy.
