  1. I infinitely prefer House to the other choices. He represents a kind of stability the other factions don't have at all. Caesar is dying and brutal, NCR is a bureaucracy, and the other factions are too weak. House can live forever, has access to a peacekeeping army, and wants to let people live their lives so long as they don't threaten New Vegas. Besides, House is elusive. He never makes "public appearances", so obviously he isn't interested in fame. He is interested in keeping humanity alive and happy, and he manages to do so quite well in the New Vegas strip.

     

    As for him killing the Brotherhood of Steel, I don't particularly like that, but I see no other way to deal with them. Their pseudo-knightly nonsense is nothing more than a coverup for how they obsess over pre-war technology.

     

    As for him killing The Kings when he consolidates his power, it isn't his fault. If The Kings hadn't tried to keep their hold on Freeside, he would have allowed them to live, and they probably would have prospered.

  2. I try to be very tolerant of people, so I rarely flip out at people over their beliefs, racist or otherwise, unless they actually take action with them. You can think whatever you want, but when you deny people rights simply because of your opinions, that's when I get angry.

    And use the zoom function on the interactive to try and look for us. If you STILL can't, just type thenexusforums.com into the little "find icon" bar over the interactive map, and it will automatically find that one and zoom in. Then, slowly zoom out and compare us to the others, to see how big we really are! Pretty large compared to some of the others, in my opinion. ;)

  4. I'm afraid I don't understand. Does it matter if we are in a simulation? We couldn't escape from it, because we are part of the simulation. We could only prove we were in a simulation if the simulation allowed us to. Even if we were "predestined" to do things because we were "programmed" to, it wouldn't matter because we would always feel like we were making the choices that lead us to that destiny. Even doing something completely out of character for your personality would still be within the bounds of your "programming", because it would mean that your personality is one of those that would do something strange just to prove they could escape their destiny.

    Appearance: Has no "hair" on his head, it is covered with the same color fur as the rest of him, he has scars on his wrists and a missing claw on his left ring finger. His facial structure is very average Khajiit, he has very light tan fur, making him a more distinct individual.

    Skills: is good with delicate work, very nimble hands, he can pick locks very well. He fights with his hands only, more specifically his claws. He wears no armor and fights in a very agile fashion, However his strength is almost matching that of an orc due to the hardships of his life. He can sneak very well, standard for a Khajiit. He is somewhat skilled in the art of destruction, and knows some minor restoration, mostly to compensate for his lack of weapons

    Personality: he is a tragic figure, he has a skooma addiction, and is an alcoholic. He is in a war with these traits, and will often resort to them when in times of trouble and sorrow. He is usually quite friendly when sober, he can be violent and hateful when not.

    Bio: Was captured by bandits in his homeland of Elsewyr, he was then taken to morrowind where he was sold into slavery with his mate and only surviving daughter, after a few months he was sold to a plantation owner, and his family to a Telvanii wizard. Upon arriving he broke free and bludgeoned the plantation workers and owners to death with his shackles, leaving the scars on his wrists. He went out in search of his family, he found them, they had been killed and used in experiments of necromancy, he then tore the wizard apart and used the necromancer's own staff to trap him inside of a soul gem, he now carries this gem with him everywhere as his vengeance.

    Inventory: some cheap clothing, several lockpicks, about 75 gold pieces, a filled black soul gem, a skooma pipe, and some skooma and beer.

  6. If any of you have ever played KOTOR, I liked how the droids in that game had a different equipment setup than humanoids. Like, where humans had a "Head" slot, they had a "Sensor" slot. I also liked how droids acted as a more "support" partner. So, I was hoping for a race of "Wisps" which looks similar to Will'O-The-Wisps, which acted as a more support partner and had a different equipment setup. Wisps wouldn't (and couldn't) use armor like other races, they would use specially made "wisp tokens" or something of the sort that can be equipped to change their stats. So, an example of a wisp token would be

     

    Endurance Token, Head Slot

     

    Which would give +2 endurance to the wisps. You wouldn't have to code in a new armor system, just have an invisible helm that has a script which checks if the wearer is part of the wisp race. If they aren't a wisp, the token can't be equipped.

     

    In addition, they wouldn't (and couldn't) use normal weapons. They absolutely must use spells. When you talk to them, instead of the normal speech, they have some random chimey sounds (this is mostly to skip out on voice acting for a trippy glowing ball...). This is really just an idea, so present your comments/suggestions/corrections/questions on it. I would love to have this in game. :D

     

    Edit: Also, this would be a partner-only race, not a player race. :P

  7. Ok, here I go again on a very long or short saying. Yes I already know about the COH mod but thanks for the suggestion. But for Trandoshan What mod is this, I run on robert full male body v5, and I dont have textures for there, so what mod is this I would love to get it. And For more info I would like someone to make a mod to fix alot of things, I would like someone to make a simple mod for beasts, I would Like for someone to make a mod for Sheaths. If you dont know what a sheath is then.... That is what animals have....... So If you find a mod like that OR make one that someone should totally do because IT IS SO NEEDED It would be cool, and dont make it over size please. And For anyone that can find a mod to fix that missing texture, Tell me I would love to have it.

     

    I am starting to think Modders dont even read this section. (One more thing, Im not here for female mods.)

    Yes, the game supports mods and they look fantastic. If you get OBSE along with it, you can use more advanced mods that people make.

     

    The REAL game supports mods, not your evil torrent version. ;)

  9. Yeah, I guess you are right about the "villains" thing. The main issue there is that Lorkhan wants everyone and everything related to Mundus to be eliminated, so there is really no way to ally with him. Of course, if you want to try to use the political instability caused by a disaster of this magnitude to put yourself in power, then that would be another story. You are right about the whole villains thing, though. Any idea how I could fix that without fundamentally altering the plot?
