  1. Been working on a castle / player home for a while now, much of the interior is done and I'm now working on the exterior. Looking through the amount of exterior ''castle pieces'' available in the Creation KIt; its very limited. I was wondering if anyone know about a good resource mod that adds good, exterior castle walls?
  2. Just wanted to report back: your tip on editing landscape / adding objects at the cell borders did the trick. Thanks to you I now know B can showcase this. Thank you very much, friend!
  3. Thank you very much for the reply. Sorry for responding so late. I'll try these tips and see if it solves anything :)
  4. Working on a small worldspace. I set default landheight to 5000.0000 and water 4500.0000, check the box small worldspace and begin terrain editing and adding objects. Everything seems fine and functioning as intended in the Creation Kit. But when I go in game, to view the worldspace I am greeted with squares of land floating at different heights, which leaves the terrain with open gaps in between. In the Creation Kit this issue isn't visible, only in game. I have absolutely no clue what is causing this issue and have so far created a total of 4 worldspaces to try and troubleshoot the issue, attempted googling similar cases but I've found no answer. I've added an image to show what it looks like.
  5. So I have beeb expanding on a mod I have created and would like to follow up on it by editing the textures of existing armor and clothing. However I face the problem there... I got the latest version of gimp alongside its dds. plugin, but when I attempt to open the files after extracted through BSA I get the following: "dds plugin couldn't open file" or something like that. I even tried paint.net but it too struggles... any solutuons for this?
  6. In response to post #24859404. #24859729, #24859924, #24860149, #24860289, #24860359, #24860679 are all replies on the same post. Oblivion is the game that introduced me to TES. I find that Skyrim has the best mods, however I believe that the modding community for the TES games has become capable of making this possible thanks to the years of expanding the concept that initiated with Morrowind.
  7. In response to post #24859404. #24859729, #24859924, #24860149 are all replies on the same post. I am fully aware of that. But the money Zenimax spend on making ESO is the same money used for Bethesda's games. When they made ESO they used money that could have been used instead on furthering advancing Skyrim (just my opinion).
  8. You know what? If Bethesda decided to continue creating DLCs for Skyrim I would gladly pay for them. But the concept of letting mod authors charge for their mods would be a downfall for the modding community. However, Skyrim is a game with immense potential, imagine the extreme profits they could make by focusing a small team on creating DLCs for the game again. Personally, I have always thought that they should have just dropped ESO and instead focused on expanding Skyrim even more. TES V is a game that could live forever. Like really, I have dedicated well over 700 hours to the game and I still play it...
  9. Well I am not going to use the Steam Workshop for mods, that is for sure. I don't really think I do have any active mods that are from there anyways. But this just makes it even more less tempting to use it...
  10. I don't think I ever would have the courage to perform something like that... Very awesome videos, I found some videos from my service in the HMKG. This was 1 year service as a royal guard and someone in the platoon put together a video from different videos that was taken during that year, the video contains footage of my platoon and our field exercises: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8VV7R3uphI

  12. Most people on this community got a sort of interest in modding, in the sense of using and creating. Many here are very talented mod authors, some may have this has their primary profession and for other this is just an activity they do on the side or to kill some time. I am interested in knowing if this is your primary interest, or do you have other activities that interest you more? Perhaps multiple hobbies and what is your profession? Seeing what type of combinations of interest people got and what brought you to modding and this community? I myself believe I got a weird range of interests, example: I am currently a 2nd year Emergency Medical Service apprentice. I also recently volunteered for service in the national guard, ''effort'' - force / rapid reaction force (directly translated), infantry reconnaissance, previous service; royal guard. Interests: emergency medical response, military, mountain trips, physical activity, playing games and modding (to the best of my abilities). Playing games like TES and Fallout brought me to this community, it started as a huge thing to play Oblivion and Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360; then I realized that there were more content available for the PC - versions of these games and that eventually led me here. Due to the nexus I kinda converted slowly from console to PC. And quite the amount of time have been dedicated to this over the years.
  13. Never played ESO (can't see myself doing so anytime soon), but is there not a strict regulation regarding modding an online based game? Like, some mods can make gameplay easier for the user and thus be considered something like cheating? So I imagine the UI can't really be altered and within that, the map can't be altered?
  14. Something that has been troubling me for a while now is the lack of illumination within the manors. I would love to give more color to the interior, but as I have been attempting several times; the changes I make through the Creation Kit is a lost cause, they do not apply. I'm looking for a solution to this... as it is something I really would like to include in a mod I am working on.
  15. I'd fall asleep in the process of killing them in endless rows. Do it nude then, it will surly make it more interesting, and less boring. Wat? You know, no armor or skin spells they hit a little hard. I forget this not monster hunter, in it no armor means naked. lol. Okay :P
