I wish someone knew the answer to this! I have tried all water mods and nothing worked! Not sure what to do.
-
Nevermind, I'm going to just use Mator Smash to do it myself.

Hi there, I'm hoping that someone will be very kind and make a patch for Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul to work with More Plants and Recipes for Hearthfire. These two wonderful mods would be great if they could work together, but as it is they conflict and I have no idea how to go about patching them. If anyone could help, that would be awesome. Mod Links are here: More Plants: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26851/? CACO: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69306/?

Loading KS Hairdo's in Creation Kit

Someone also said something about this: "In SkyrimEditor.ini (Skyrim folder) under [General] set bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1" Is this correct? -

That's pretty cool, but it's not what I'm looking for. Thanks though! -
Loading KS Hairdo's in Creation Kit

Enthusiast, can you please let me know what exactly I should write? Because I tried editing it as per the post I read on Reddit. Didn't work. Uh, no. That's not what I'm trying to do here at all. I'm too picky to really enjoy someone else's character mods- I want to make my own. -
Hello, I'm trying to edit the hair of some of the NPCs, and I want to use KS Hairdos because I think it's the best on the Nexxus. When I begin, I select the hair in CK, and I make my NPC mod the active file. From then on I'm able to select the hair and assign it to the NPCS. The problem comes later, when I open my mod up again it says it can't find the hair on the characters I just edited, and they then revert back to vanilla hair. I googled the issue and found that I have to add some information about KS hairdos to the ini in order for CK to recognize the file since it's not a master file, but which ini exactly? There is conflicting information, and nothing I have tried has worked so far. The hair keeps reverting back to vanilla. Therefore, I'd like instruction on either how to make the file a Master ESM file, or how to load it up as it is. Or if someone has another way to assign that hair to specific NPCs, would appreciate it very much. THanks!

Creation Kit NPC Facial Textures Help
redprincess79 replied to LieutenantHawk's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Taking my tint files out worked perfectly. Thank you! -
Thanks for your help! I have been told to switch to the other mod manager, and I just might do that. I have indeed been having issues with NMM- almost to the point where it's not functional. Hopefully the issue won't persist.

Yeah, it's really strange. I was using the latest versions of everything. No, I had not tried using an older version of EFF, that seems like walking backwards to me.
-
I uninstalled EVERYTHING- my entire data folder and just started again- including a new game. The problem is the last time this happened I had done the same thing, so I'm hoping that for some reason I magically won't. There are none of those files in my data folder or anywhere else. And yes, I was using the latest edition.
-
No, the MCM menu wasn't present. Yes....although I must have overlooked something......otherwise I wouldn't be having these issues, right?
-
Update: The strange thing about this is that even though I uninstalled, on my next brand new game I still got two copies of How to Be A Leader, which is the book that goes with the mod. WTF?! Something is lingering but I don't know where or how.
-
Nope, there is only EFF core, and only one. Any other suggestions? For the meantime I went ahead and took the mod out.

Hi there! Firstly, I've got all the DLCs and I'm running quite a few mods- about 112. However, my only real problem is with one mod in particular, and that's EFF (Extensible Follower Framework ) by Expired. I have posted several times in the forums there, but nobody has offered me any help. I've also done some searches on the web, but it seems nobody else is having my particular issue that I could find. My issue is that EFF will have double or sometimes triple MCM menu entries, as if it's installing itself more than once. When this has happened I get some very strange behavior from followers. Even after installing a brand new game this has continued to happen, and I'm not sure what to do to stop it. This is the only follower mod I like, so I'd really like to continue to use it. If anyone can point me in the right direction for some help with this issue, I'd appreciate it. I am getting no help in the forum of the actual modification. :/

You want Immersive Horses! It has scripts but it's more simple and has those features.

I totally understand. I can't imagine having to deal with the amount of comments some of the authors of the big mods have to deal with......crazy! And some people are so rude! But good luck anyway. :)

I wouldn't mind if they died, but I have yet to find a mod that does this without coming with a myriad of bugs! The last mod I tried had my kids grow up to be giants that towered over my character and her husband, Farkas! Freaky freaky s#*!. If someone wants to recommend a decent mod, be my guest. Because frankly, some children in the game are annoying as hell and I wouldn't mind see dying.

The ones you don't really need- that's a personal preference though, wouldn't you say? I tried looking at your mods but because it's a text document, it's a mess! Very difficult to read which would explain your lack of responses. All of the text is smooshed together and furthermore, the mods I don't know about I cannot link to. But here's some really simple, easy advice that I have followed: I ditched all my previous water and weather mods and got a mod called Purity. Why? Because the less esps I have the better, and Purity has almost everything I want/need rolled into one. It's simple, it's easy, and it's beautiful. I highly recommend it. Try linking your mods that you are unsure about into this thread and I will take a look at them, but I have to say- you are the best judge of that. I personally think Realistic Needs and Diseases is too complicated, so I use Ineed instead- but that's a matter of personal preference. Only you know what you can and cannot live without.
-
Good advice. I hope you share this mod with the community! More recipes= happy cookers! :)

Looks like ZF Primary Needs used those textures. Have used used that before? There's another retexture for soup out there that looks like it's also worth looking into. I haven't no, but thanks for getting back to me! Yes, I like those textures and I may just put them in....but the apple cabbage texture of the mod I originally linked really is pretty. I wish I knew how to make those files game ready!

In response to post #27527754. #27527929, #27528174, #27528204, #27528784, #27529469, #27530964, #27533204, #27534344, #27534504, #27536734, #27537559, #27539314, #27539889, #27539969, #27541654 are all replies on the same post. Agreed. Almost all of the gamers I know are female, and they ALL play Skyrim, but they hate the Nexus because of the sexual mods that objectify the female body constantly.

I thought for sure there were more females on here. It explains to me the amount of nudity and sexual mods on here though.....especially when you take into consideration the average age of the user! Young boys!

Thanks......can you link to some of the tutorials? Or ones you found helpful?

There is a really good article found at the Expanded Towns and Cities mod page that talks about how mods should be organized and the loading order that works well for a lot of people. Also, if you use Tes Edit than you ought to look into Wyre Bash, because apparently it's great for problems and issues with mods that conflict and rooting them out. Also, I'd begin with the basics and try to get rid of the things you really don't need or merge ESPS. 200 mods is quite a bit, and I'll bet you could achieve a more stable game by getting rid of many of those. Good luck!
