  1. I've been following this mod for ages. Looks epic! :)
  2. For the Dark Brother hood quest that involves the ship, the NPC is inside, so yeah, go ahead and kill them.
  3. Oh god! Most frustrating moment; Plugging my iPod into charge, whilst in Oblivion. And around two minutes after plugging it in, Oblivion Minimizing, and a message about updating the iPod software, <,<
  4. That has got to be the best description of anything to do with Oblivion I have ever seen. (That'll be a new quote in my sig. (: ) But, to be honest, Lucien does annoy me. He's just so, intruderish. :L
  5. I currently only have 10 saves, but I did used to have a couple of hundred. I was forced to clean my harddrives though, because my PC started to run so slowly. Am not sure how much space it currently takes up though.
  6. My Oblivion looked nothing like that? :L Mind you that is because I had every setting up full as soon as I installed it, even before I started a new game, the settings were right up. The same with all game's I get. Now, I use load's of different graphic mod's, and I especially like OBGE (Oblivion Graphics Extender), however I did un-install that a while back.
  7. In many ways I do roleplay, but in many ways i don't. I travel on horse, sleep in taverns, buy un-neccesary clutter. On an average day I'd ride from, let's say Bruma to Bravil, stopping in at places along the way, and using portable tent mod's to sleep. I'd pop into the Imperial City, and buy a load of bowls, plate's and cups, and set them up in my tent, to make it look more homely. I did develop my own tent mod along the way, which is inspired by the Harry Potter tent, when they went to the Quidich World Cup. The tent that looked tiny from the outside, but was bigger than a house inside? Well my tent was like that, and it started of empty, and I furnished it with AMajor7's Imperial Furniture Store, which allows you to buy and move furniture like a normal object. Then when I reached Bravil, I'd turn on Side's Sailing Ship's and sail across the water to Blackmarsh, where I'd go into the CS and add in some special feature's for me to discover. I have hundred's of my own pointless mod's, that I've created for my sole use, and most of the time I've only used them once. Most of them only have, let's say a single small dungeon, a NPC, a creature, or a small abandoned house. The mod's would have little funtionality, and I just roleplayed, visiting them etc. Oblivion is a brilliant game for roleplaying, I'd say :)
  8. Normally, no. But I'm currently working on a City Mod, Horror Mod, and like 4 others, so it'll take a couple of weeks.
  9. Should be brilliant Zaldiir, just like all your other mods.
  10. Well, i have always wanted to make something like this for weye, i've just never got round to it. : / I think i'll have a go at it, but i won't make the castle, i'll just make tents for the soldiers, and also, there'll be mercenaries and/or guards from the other cities. I'll work it around AFK_Weye also, because personally, I love that mod. (: Just to let you know, I might take a while because I'm working on a good few mod's already. :) So, it won't be exactly to your request but, it should be fun for you? :)
  11. Smart, would be quite a unique choice. (: I don't think I'll do this one. ;) Maybe starting as a prisoner in one of those cages?
  12. Thanks for the idea's guys. Am gonna leave it for a while yet before I do anything more on the mod. :)
  13. The website is now up and running. (pages may take a while to load) LINK also, if you notice any bugs, then please send me a PM

Why he was sent to jail: Was arrested injustly. Full Story of Arrest: Alenor walked through the dense undergrowth towards Kvatch. His majesty, the count had called him from his farm not 20 miles from the city. As the city came into sight, he noticed commotion at the gate. The guards seemed to be strugling with a small group of Dark Elves. As he grew nearer, Alenor realised he recognized the main Dark Elf, it was his fathers friend, Couna. The soldiers of Kvatch, began to draw their swords as they realised the struggle was about to get out of hand. But before they could, Couna raised his hand high and a flash of light blue magic flew towards them. The soldiers, froze as an icy layer of frost, crawled across them. "Cut them up my friends" Couna said, as he sliced into the soldier commander. A shout came from inside the city, as a guard saw what had happened and moments later a huge troop of soldiers came charging down the street. They stopped about ten feet away from the elves. Commander Martius stepped forward, sword drawn. "You have assaulted some of my men gentlemen. You slaughtered them, and now you must pay. But, as a loyal supporter of the Emperor I have no choice but to offer you the chance to surreneder, as his new law commands. So. how many of you will surrender. You know if you do not my men will cut you down without thought". I stood behind the Elves the whole time, listening to and watching what was happening. Couna turned to his companions. "You have done well with me. We have attempted to cut out the filth of the Septim Reign, but failed. So, now I give you one choice. You can surrender to these fools and be tried for treason. You will leave us as friends, and we will honour your choice. Or you can, stay here with me and fight to the death against these scum. Around half of the Elves dropped their weapons and stood beside those who were armed. "All who are surrendering, walk to the back of the line beside that farmer." They walked and stood beside me. The soldiers commander gave the order to advance, and the Kvatch troops advanced onto them carving them up as quickly as they could. Then, marched towards those who surrendered. One of the soldiers grabbed Alenor and threw him to his knees. "Wait...! Im not one of them! Im a simple farmer!" "Silence you scum!" The soldier shouted in Alenor's face, spittle flying everywhere. He drew back his foot, and struck Alenor right in the temple, knocking him un-consious. The next thing Alenor saw, was the inside of a small cell. With nothing in it but a bed-roll, a stool and a table with a bowl and pitcher on it. Chains hung from the room, and a small barred window was behind him. He walked up the two stairs towards the cell door, and inspected it. There was no way he could break the lock, it was too strong, and the metal bars were too thick to bend. He heard a scuffle from across the hall, and saw a dark elf come to the cell door at the other side of the corridor. "Oh look what we have here! An Imperial in the Imperial Prison..." The dark elves voice droned out of his head as he heard a door opening at the top of the corridor. "Do you hear that? They're coming for you! You!" The Elves cackle was drowned out as three heavily armed soldiers, and a richly dressed man came into his cell. It was then he realised the old man was the Emperor Uriel Septim. He was easily recognized by the huge diamond-shaped amulet hung around his throat. And that's where the story began for Alenor. ;)
  15. Sounds interesting, I might actually use the blade idea. :)
  16. I think I'm gonna wait a while, so we get more votes, and see what I'm going to do. ;)
  17. btw, I just want to point out, I'm not asking for mods, which give alternate starts. I'm looking for idea's to make some. ;)
  18. Hey guys, I'm about to start working on a new-start mod as a side project, and because you guys are obviously the audience I'm making it for, I would appreciate it if you filled in the quick poll I've got set up above. But, before you start I just want to say a few quick things. For the first question, if you want, you can pick more than one answer.I will most likely make a few different locations, and they will be set up as a series, meaning they'll be released as separate mods. Please, leave a comment, f you have any other suggestions. Thanks, and I hope to get working soon. :) Daniel,
  19. please note location change. the city is now located in the Topal Sea.
  20. imagine... a place... a place, of nature... a place, of life... a place, like... Saltehold Official Website Saltehold, one of the most beautiful cities in Cyrodill. Sitting at the top of the Topal Sea, on an island just south of Leyawiin, the city has some of the best views that anyone could ever see. Located not far from Leyawiin, but in the middle of the Topal Sea, the area is spectacular. A city, with it's own architecture, which looks even more beautiful when the sun shies down. It's inhabitants being a mixture of every race, the city accepts almost any race. It's huge wooden palisade wall's, make the city look spectacular from the outside. But, it gets even better when the gate's open, and you walk into the spectacularly designed city, you will be engulfed by the kindness of the people, the embellishments that the city is covered in, and when you reach the Castle, you will be truly amazed. Saltehold is the richest, and the second most powerfulest city in Cyrodill. It is even more richer than the Imperial City, due to it's amazing views, and the strength of the industries located there. As with any city, not the whole settlement is the same. The slum's of Saltehold are disgusting. Sick and human droppings lie around the streets. House's are packed tightly, and most house's are old, abandoned and boarded up. The alley's are filled with homeless, and the streets are filled with criminals, and other outcasts. The slum's, are lightly guarded, but, there is a number of traders working on market stands in the area. At night's these stands are often robbed, so, the owner's have taken to hiring guards or moving the stall away at nights. Most people, live in the slum's, due to the extortionate price's of the house's in the nicer area's of the city. One of the most defended area's of the city is the prison. Most of Cyrodill's criminals are brought here, and the prison is huge. It is one of the only areas in the city, with the huge stone wall's you see around cities like Skingrad, and Bruma. The prison take's up a huge area, and because each prisoner must have his own cell (according to prison regulations), the prison has been extended underground, creating over three-hundred new cells. These underground cell's are the worst in the prison, because, they are just little cave's where the prisoner's are thrown in, and locked up. The hardiest prisoners are kept at the bottom, meaning they will have a harder escape, and the least dangerous are kept in the nicer cell's, which are built outside, in seperate blocks. Cyrodill's biggest bank is also located in Saltehold. This bank hold's the Royal Treasury, and is also the location where all of the Elder Council's money is kept. Many institutions, choose to store their riches here, but so do many regular people. Whole room vaults can be rented, and are heavily guarded. The Elder Council has posted a large force of it's soldiers to defend the Council Vaults, and the Emperor even posted a small group of Blade's to guard his personal vault. The regular cell's, and vaults owned by smaller insitutions are guarded by the bank's own guards. The Market and Industrial District's are built together. This means goods, can go straight from the factories, to the stands and shops. A large caravan loading area sit's beside the exterior gate, so that trading caravan's can go straight into the city, load up, and leave. No house's sit inside this district, (except from the shop owner's apartments), and the back alleys, are filled with factories. The main streets look beautiful, and are incredibbly colourful, but when you turn off of them, you see the state of the factory streets. Graffiti is all over every building, and human waste lies in the streets. Fire's in this area can be incredibbly hard to put out, because of the tightness of the alleys. Then you see the residential district, this is the area where the rich people live. House price's here are un-believably high. Not very many house's actually are sittuated here, and not a single poor (or middle class) person is let in. The guard's are very strict about who is allowed into this area, and you require a permit to actually get through the gate's. Every house here has a large garden, and some have outer buildings. There is about four estate's actually inside this area of the city. These estate's have huge gardens, and numerous outer buildings. The center of this area is a large fountain-like statue, at which the "finer-folks" of the city gather, and communicate. "The Keep" is a magnificent structure, rising high above the city, meaning that it's walls can be seen from anywhere in the city. The Keep is where all the Empire's Office's are. House, Land, Tax, Military buildings are all located in the Outer Area of The Keep. The Inner area is where the count and his family live. A huge tower rise's high above the skyline, and the building looks amazing from wherever you stand. On the very, very top of the tower, sit's a large orb. This is where the Empire's Magician's watch Cyrodill's Borders, and make sure that they are safe. Outside the city wall's lies a small number of buildings. A large stable area takes up most of this space, and the rest is cluttered by Travel Agents. These Travel Agent's offer you a ride in their cart's for a fee. Sometime's the fee's can be quite dear, but at other agents, they can be very, very cheap. _______ Anyway, out of the "in-mod" mode, and onto my normal self. :P Saltehold is the mod that I've always wanted to make. And, it's gonna require a lot of work! Because of the fact there's gonna be a lot of interiors, the mod's gonna be released in a few different stages. Stage's (Including Website, Forum Threads, and Actual Mod Releases); Ϫ1 - Mod announcement via Nexus Forums ~ Done Ϫ2 - Mod Website Release ~ Ϫ3 - No-Interior Version Release ~ Ϫ4 - Some Interior Version Release ~ Ϫ5 - Full-Beta version Release ~ Ϫ6 - Actual Mod Release ~ As soon as I have them, screenshots will be uploaded. :) Keep an eye on this thread! (: Update - 7 / 03 / 11 City has been moved onto an island in the Topal Sea. The Website is under construction. & The mod will require Borderless Cyrodill, or an edited Options.ini file (which will be provided in a separate download)
  21. Woah! great news! And i thought it was abonadoned for a second there! Well it's not up to me on what happens. It's nwnicwilli 's job. :P I'm just here as a experienced hand. :L
  22. Hey guys, isak100 just got in touch with me, and he'd been banned. He wants the mod to keep on being worked so he wants nwnicwilli to lead the mod, but he wants to still be credited as project leader. Just wanted to tell you guys, cause he asked me to. Thanks, Daniel
  23. Thats how it's eligable for the competetion. It needed to have something to do with the community, and it does. Btw, check your inbox, half of my original list of people haven't answered, so I'm sending out new messages. ;)
  24. There we go, fully updated. Althought, some sections are still not written, so placeholders are there instead. :)
