  1. Someone didn't read "The Real Barenziah" b4 the censorship :P I thought it was a great way to offer it. You know anime/games/movies that have different species besides humans. It's fun to think of "giving it to" an alien xD And yes, It is very weird lol
  2. [sOLVED] See posts #9 & #10. Hello Morrowind Community. I had missing textures in my Telvanni Council House. Where all the Mouths are. While running Rise of House Telvanni and/or the added plugin by a different mod'r 2.x.x Pix of problem which shows missing floors and outer walls: https://ibb.co/3vskg0B https://ibb.co/ZVSBFSFhttps://ibb.co/dKsnTJyhttps://ibb.co/8jZWpsW I Fixed it by opening up, in Construction Set, the added plugin ROHT.2.0.8.esp and marking the Meshes as "References Persist" in the Hall. Before I tried Pointing the meshes directly to where they are located in folder. =didn't need to do that  My question is Why did I have to mark "ref. persist"? Why wasn't it working? It's fine now tho Wrye Mash is yelling about a Bad Ref on one of the Beam textures but w/e. Before: the problem persist with all ROHT mods. My thinking was another plugin was overwriting it but I had ROHT.2.0.8.esp as 3rd last. Even moved a platform in that esp to say that it Modded that interior. Which didn't work ofc. Anyways if y'all know what's going on here I'd greatly appreciate it :smile:Thank you for your time.-AR
  3. Ah then Your MGE XE settings are different then most. Would you mind posting your MGE.ini for us? Preferably under Spoiler tags. =I don't know if that's the issue, but if they fix themselves when you get close tells me it's a Distant Land problem. Location: \Morrowind\Mge3\Mge.ini A great starting point for suggested settings
  4. Go to Windows Default Programs and change the default for ".mp3" to VLC player or something. =is the short of that google search. Never ran into this problem but they say Morrowind doesn't recognize .mp3 when defaulted to a weird player.
  5. Sounds like you didn't add the Meshes/Textures to your \DataFiles. What's the link you used, Gangweedman?
  6. A few years back I had a problem with distant land gen. Come to find out that it was the "Mesh Detail=Full". When I tried to lower it to "half" or other than full, it would crash/hang. I realize this ain't the problem your describing, but it wouldn't hurt to see if you have it at "full" mesh detail. mge.ini > DLWizard Settings> Mesh detail=Full
  7. It's part of the MCP. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/19510 One of the patches enables Detect Creature to include Humanoids.
  8. Speak with the Mouths in Sadrith Mora. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:House_Telvanni
  9. Just search for "Xbox" in the Morrowind Nexus Mods. You have a few options you can go with. But I don't think just enabling the "gamepad" in menus and in morrowind.ini will replace the UI. Plus you will still be using the mouse for Mod Menus. Tho take my advice with a grain of salt for I don't use my gamepad w/ ES3. From googling it sounds like it won't replace the UI buttons and you'll be using a emulator program. If it were me I'd use Steam's version of the Pad Emulator and change some things in morrowind.ini
  10. MO is made for Nexus Mods yes, but one will just have to install them manually. Just choose a Main Downloads folder and Point MO to it and it will always look in there for new mods. With Nexus Metadata or not.
  11. Here's a Guide on Wrye Mash. Just UnZip the StandAlone into its own folder under /Morrowind. If your going MO2 then You'll have to setup and point MO2 at Wrye Mash's exe location and run it inside MO. You are still thinking Wrye Mash is a Mod Manager. It is BUT it does so much more. If u want another Mod Manager to do the "managing" then just do that and ignore the "installers" tab in Wrye Mash. It won't hurt and you will want it's features. Especially the "Repair All" on Save Games. Personally I'd go Mod Organizer, but I'm fluent in it to the point I'm comfortable. It's a different beast. But there are many guides on how to set up. It IS worth it in the end. On vortex(Nexus Manager), I believe it has Virtual Folders also, but don't quote me on that
  12. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Morrowind_graphics_guide I just recommend this guide on another thread. Since your post screams your new to modding ES3, I'd recommend checking out the many guides ppl have wrote over the years. Mlox is something you need to put those Mods in the Right Order and Hopefully cure those errors of yours. But don't count on it, its just a Load Sorter. Wrye Mash will be the Next app you want, but I'm getting ahead of myself. "Model load error" could be you're missing files or the plugin that calls for it ain't "active". Or something else. I don't know. My advice would to check out that guide above. Run Mlox and try again. I'm not familiar with Vortex so I can't help you there.
  13. Mash=Morrowind Bash=Oblivion and 4get what the Fallout games Wrye's called. Yes. You can have multiple instances. Mod Organizer 2 I hear is now compatible with Morrowind so that's another option for you on Mod Managers. You'll be using Wrye to do certain "clean-up" steps on Save Games n other things, so even if you use a Different Mod Manager... One would still want Wrye for its "repair-ability" of Save Files and other stuff w/ the Mod Files(like Updating Mods). Install your Games Outside of the \Program Files\ folder on account of UAC errors. I got 4 Wrye's on my PC right now for dif. Bethesda titles. No communication problems at all. They run as they should when I want them too. IOW No probs. Here's a Guide that use to be a STEP guide on Morrowind, here on Nexus. I'm not going to tell you step by step of what to do. If you're new? Get reading :P Although having exp. w/ other titles will help :) If it were me? I'd do the guide then the mods you want. If you don't use a Mod Manager, your \Morrowind folder will be a mess and if you have any errors, from any mods, having a Manager manage those problems would be best :)
  14. v2.4 is the Official version found here. After you DL and extract that to \Morrowind then you can add the Skunk Works version to /Morrowind you have downloaded. IOW the version you have is just the patch themselves. You don't have the executable. So do that :)
  15. Some will tell you to go Morrowind Rebirth. I'd recommend this guide: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Morrowind_graphics_guide With Rebirth... You're going to run into compatibility problems down the line, But it's a All In One package. I'd go with the Nexus Guide :)
  16. Here is the Configuration menu EasyMCM BUT that is now Included in the Alpha. Are you sure you have the most up to date Version of MWSE? IOW easyMCM is included w/ the most up-to-date MWSE.
  17. You need a Texture to go along with that Nif. Or vice versa. Plenty of mods to do that. You could also try backup the nif & delete and live with the vanilla nif/texture. Your "Warnings.txt" in Root \Morrowind should have the exact name/location of the file in question.
  18. I have 2 "bats" that I run. One is the Multipatch that I run every time I add a mod or do something that I have to go thru the routine steps of: Mlox > Wrye Mash Repair All > Multipatch > MGExe Distant Land Gen Here's the Bat that I use for Drag & Drop Clean Mods with Tes3cmd I believe that BAT came from here =Morrowind Mod Wiki. And here is my Multipatch BAT that combines Level Lists and other things: You must of not setup your BAT right. Didn't add the right backup options or something. Hopefully that wiki link will help in the future. It did me. More info than what you asked but just trying to help :)
  19. Here is the Nexus's official guide. Use to be the STEP guide but they moved it over here. Check it out for it contains all of the Apps that Modder's Need. Including Mlox = Load order like L00T is for Skyrim. Wrye Mash = Wrye Bash's and other's Dad :P Tes3cmd which will fix GMST and Level Lists (loot chests & whatnot). MGExe for Distant Land and Other Graphical Options. MWSE =Script Extender. These apps + more is what I was talking about. Instead of a screenshot, I'd rather have your Morrowind.ini in Spoilers BUT OnLY the Bottom part that contains the "GameFiles=". That will let me know what you have, but you don't have too. If you think its a mod that's doing the screwup, You need to find that ESP and Disable it. Then run the game & see how it goes.
  20. Did you follow a Guide? If so, list it please. If you are using all of the apps like MGExe, MWSE, Tes3edit... etc. Do you have all of the requirements for them. MGE needs Dx9.0c June 2010. =link on Nexus MGE and Assimilation Lab point to a general dxweb update and Not the June 2010. MWSE needs a Redistribute to run. A couple of weeks ago I embarrassedly posted bug reports on Mod Pages and Here I was missing requirements stated above. Happened when I clean Installed Win 8.1. So... Did you follow a Guide? Do you have the Specific Requirements needed by certain Applications? The errors you list made me think of my recent experiences.
  21. After googling and finding a couple of threads, it seems your bip01 errors maybe caused by the Morrowind Code Patch's "improved animation support". Thread 1. Thread 2. When I googled one of your errors (bip01) without quotes and add Morrowind to the front of the error, that's what I came up with. Since you can open esp's I'll assume you are running all the tools most of us use including MCP, I would "uncheck" the box for the "Improved Animation Support" in MCP. and re-run MCP. Unless you need it that specific patch for another mod. Nice Pic btw :)
  22. I would guess you have a mod that's screwing up your npc interaction. Please list your load order in Spoiler Tags from either morrowind.ini or %USER%\AppData\Local\Morrowind\plugins.txt I had a House Mod that did this very thing a couple of years ago.
  23. Hello SingleStone. Did you throw the \Textures folder INTO the \Textures folder OR the \Data Files folder. There's a difference. From what I read of your post you went one to many folders. IOW you went \Data Files\Textures\Textures. Throw that Texture folder into the \Data Files folder and overwrite all. It won't replace the whole folder. It will only Add files/folders and Overwrite old files of said folder(s).
  24. Hello Soyeong. You only need one AV running at any one time and I'd like to quote a Level 1 Techie "You probably don’t want an antivirus except for Malwarebytes. As John McAffee puts it, at the time an AV detected or didn’t detect something, it’s already too late. So invest in OPNSense/PFSense and Suricata, and behavioral changes AI protection systems." Anyways, add an exception / ignore rule to the list of rules of your AV. I'd say the whole folder or at the very least applications you trust in said folders.
  25. Hello Akonis. You'll be wanting 3 apps for starters. Code Patch > exeOpt > 4GB patch. Ran in that order. But My advice for you would be to follow a Guide or Another. It's tedious but then your getting step by step. If you go with one of the big All In One package "mods"... you will end up patching a lot of things / finding fixes for. Which will be a real hassle. So stick with a guide and the time you put into it will be a rewarding experience for you and your game :)
