It was giving me problems so i just removed it anyway. may be an issue for other mods, but i still don't know how to list out my load order all slick like. is that something I have to do by hand?

Yes i've replaced NVSR with NVTF and disabled autosaves.

Trying to fire up FNV first time in years. Last time I played it in Win 10 it has it's usual problems but generally ran well. Now it is almost completely unstable. I've applied every fix I could find, such as the latest 4gig patch, NVSE, disabling autosaves and replacing them with CASM, NVSR which I replaced with NVTF, NVAC (does this have comparability issues like NVSR/TF?), YUP, Zan Auto Purge, deleted old saves, started new games, ini tweaks, verified game cache integrity and even turned it on and off again. This has stabilized some things but crashing still frequently occurs when changing cells.
I'll gladly post my load order, but, I don't know how people do that in such a nice listed formatFalloutNV.esm

So I can go to a dwemer cup and edit the model of my choosing, or perhaps decide on an armor mesh, and that is well and good. But I swear up and down that in 3/NV I could do this for the PC/NPC in their actor settings. I used to do this all the time; my scout follower would have a slim body, my melee follower would have a jacked body, etc. Is there the equivalent to this for Skyrim SE? Am i missing something obvious or has this been made needlessly complicated?

There is the script or two that I've seen that actively are checking against the global value of game day. I'm not entirely sure what you are asking because it's easy enough to set the game day with console commands, and by extension to write a script to change it

I'm trying to extend the time Halloween and Christmas decorations are up because even the most miserly Festivitarian keeps their pole in place for more than a day. I keep missing out on the unique dialogue too. So I've found the enabler but I don't know what activates it or how it connects to the game calendar. Any help?

Sorry for any confusion. I was just having it open if you wanted to do it. I'll probably end up doing it myself anyway, as I got some instructions. Yes, they are all from Exeter, for whom I give all credit to. I'm not familiar with those programs much, (it was only really just tinkering with blender that I "discovered" my idea) but I have some idea on how to do things in another thread I posted in the fallout modders section. When this is done I will give you credit also!

My mod, No Sleeves No Shirts NV could use updating for BNB. I do not know anything about the body or skeleton it uses, or if the type 3 pieces can fit. For now I would like an advisor on whether this can even be done. I would like to learn a bit more on modeling and texturing in the process. If it can go through, I would like somebody to create a conversion (or I can assist them or they can assist me). Anybody at all who helps will receive credit in the mod and kudos, of course.

The White Glove script is similiar to the other faction scripts and looks like it should work. Swap out the references to White Glove armor with your facemask, add any additional factions you want to be neutral to (i.e. save the current reputation in a variable and clear it when equipping the armor, and set it back when unequipping)... seems like that would be about it.
SEEMS like, but wouldn't. I'll get a rough copy of what I had before, up sometime.

I will, when looking at the GECK doesnt make me cry any more (I lost the script). But if anybody has some custom faction scripting I can go off of...?

I need help with faction disguises scripts. The Idea is a facemask that will hide all faction status when worn, much like the bandana in Red Dead Redemption. NV Geck is a real butt when youve done something wrong, so my scripts will not behave properly. I used the White glove script as a base. What do I need to change to make it work? This is supposed to be a faction neutral item. If I was smart I would have had it stored on my clipboard...

I bought Fallout 3 GOTY for $5 on Steam because of the Summer Sale, knowing that the mod community was huge and that it would be fun to play around with some of the popular mods out there.
I didn't know that it was completely impossible for me to get them though.
"To get this mod working, you need this. Oh, and this. Here's a vague description of how to properly install them. Also change the coding of this non-existent file so it works better."
I am so frustrated at this point I'm about to burst into tears. Even the guides I read on how to in stall them just contradict what other guides I've read!
I seriously need help. I got the Mod Manager working, but the directions of how to download the Script Extender don't tell me what to do, and downloading the Wander's Edition mod makes no sense (like bringing it to the mod manager as a package).
Could anyone assist a mod noob with this?
It is real easy, one you know how. It literally is a drag and drop system.
I'm assuming you are using windows.
My computer/C drive (or wherever steam is located)/program files (or program files x86 if you have a 64 bit OS)/Steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/Data
Open your zip/rar files, and open the data folder in the zipped, and drop the contents into the data file.
The modmanager is just a way to organize everything, because the vanilla way is to start up the game, and selecting 'data files'. that method is haphazard, so the community made it better.

Ok, for the Herp and Derp, like myself... make sure that New Vegas and the GECK have all thier shots. I mean, patches. Sorry, folks.

Keep in mind there are a lot of unused fo3 materials unused in fnv, so dig around the GECK a bit. There is a category at the fallout wiki that covers legacy content.
I do not want to use the "literally unplayable" cliche, please help
