  1. Logan, still in the same pose as before. "It will never work." Logan said, again vaguely.
  2. Artyom walked through the forest, trying to find the beach. Then finally, he strolled upon on the end of the island. 4 survivors from what he could see, the pilot, and some passengers. He had no idea if anyone else had survived. "Anyone hurt?" Artyom asked the small group.
  3. Logan shook his head, even though there was some points that were correct, she didn't know about the older days, when the Illuminati were more for the benefit of the help more then power and greed. Somehow, he had to explain that to her... For some reason, he didn't just shoot her right then and there, he waited patiently for the phone call.
  4. Artyom, who was sitting in front of one of the exits, could see the island that they were about to jump onto. He took a deep breath, and jumped. This isn't the first time he had jumped out of a plane, he likes to skydive from time to time. His suit rippled through the strong force of air as he fell, Artyom had no worries, besides fall out of the plane that is, for some reason. As he fell farther, he opened his parachute. As he slowly descended downward, the situation at hand finally grasped him. He looked down and immediately his gut wrenched, he forgot about the heights. However, as he looked down again, he was going to land near the beach of the island. He felt relieved and he touched down, somehow the parachute didn't catch on one of the trees. He unhooked his pack, and looked around. He didn't know what to do now...
  5. Logan shut the door to the Challenger, and leaned up against it, and crossed his arms across his chest. "You can say that." Logan said blankly, he knew that reporter had probably written down whatever Victoria had said in the apartment. He hoped.
  6. Artyom opened his eyes as he felt the plane shake, and the oxygen mask flew downward. The cries and shrieks of panic as he sat upright again, and after he heard what Gisele said, he quickly unbuckled his seat belt and headed toward the front, and grabbed a life jacket and a parachute. Even though everyone else seemed to start panicking, Artyom was actually calm.
  7. The Challenger engine was still idle, Logan shut off the car. He needed to think of something, and fast. After what seemed like minutes, he couldn't think of anything. He slowly opened the car door and steeped out. "Hello, Victoria." Logan said, in a deeper tone.
  8. While Artyom was driving, he activated his transmitter again, he had hoped the transmitter will pick up Dante's, so if they were separated in the blizzard, they could find each other. Or if they needed to talk to each other over the howling blizzard. He heard a few clicks and he spoke: "This is Artyom, just encase if he can't hear each other over the blizzard or we get separated, we can use our transmitters." He said, and clicked his off.
  9. "s***!" Logan said out loud, as he turned the corner. He almost lost control of the car but was able to gain control again, with the lost of the lead. However, he could see the highway was up ahead, and he could see equipment and multiple construction signs. The road ahead wasn't finished. Logan slowed way down, this was the end of this daring race. It was now or never. He came to a complete stop at the end of the road, and waited.
  10. Artyom gestured Dante to follow him, even though he couldn't see 3 feet in front of his face, he knew exactly where he was going. He needed to get back to that hill side where Dante and him first met,so he could have the even slightest chance that Isaak had left some tracks that aren't already filled in by the snow. The snowmobile started up, and Artyom drove forward.
  11. "Rather have a anti-material rifle eh?" Artyom joked. He walked over to the larger steel door, he pushed one of the buttons and the door began to raise. The weather outside was even worse then before, he figured if Isaak was somehow still alive, there would be no way he would make it to the base. However, he had to be sure of it. Artyom walked over and opened a locker, and grabbed the two front snowmobiles keys, and tossed on to Dante. "The snowmobiles were designed to move around silently, so stick close." Artyom said, as he got on his snowmobile and started it up, and slowly the vehicle made it's way out into the blinding snow. Artyom put on a face mask as he left the warm base, it was obvious that this weather isn't leaving any time soon.
  12. Artyom turned around and started walking at a fast pace down the hallway, he needed to get whatever he needed, and leave. The sooner they left the better chance they would have to find Isaak again. As Artyom lead Dante through the twists and turns of the Base, they finally arrived at bigger, steel door. The guard stood at the ready as Artyom walked over and handed him the card, the soldier nodded and opened the vault. Artyom walked inside and flipped on the lights, all you could see was giant black steel shelf's, filed with all sorts of weaponry. Artyom collected a couple flash bangs, and some smoke grenades also. He figured he might as well collect a Dragunov SVU, just encase long range was needed. He walked to the end of the army, to find the 4 snowmobiles, specially designed to be silent. Artyom waited for Dante at the other end.
  13. Logan drifted around the corner, quickly behind Victoria's car. Obviously the Challenger had some pressure, as he saw the heat buildup the gauge. He pulled back a little bit for the air to cool down the engine, he looked around on the dashboard, for anything that can be used to help him. The four switches didn't have tags to mark what they were for, but Logan had an idea. He flipped the switch to hear the engine roar ever so loudly, and his speedometer quickly climbed as he sped past Victoria. The vision in front of the car became blurry, as the car slowed down. Now he needed to stay ahead, and hopefully she will stay behind him.
  14. Norgold looked at the drink Caladus gave him, he wasn't surprised that he knew, but hopefully the pain would fully go away after this. The smell of the drink was actually very sweet, but as Norgold took a sip of the drink, the taste was bitter. However, he quickly arched his head back and drank the whole bottle in one go. The aftertaste was even worse. Norgold went into the stable and put Destiny in the stall next to Angel, "You be good now eh?" Norgold said softly, and patted the horses head. Destiny licked his hand and immediately went to the new bale of hay in the corner. Norgold laughed and joined Rhaine.
  15. "Yip!" Norgold said, as he kicked Destiny's flanks, and he quickly took off after Angel. As he saw the Inn in sight, and Byron, Caladus, and Nawen sitting around it seemed. Norgold laughed, it was quite odd that a Drow would actually drink, especially the seeker. "Hold up!" Norgold said to Destiny, he rode next to Rhaine and also dismounted. The reins were caught on something at first, but he finally got them loose and followed Rhaine.
  16. Artyom told the Colonel to read the papers. The Colonel grabbed the papers and began to read them one by one, with each and every minute the anger and betrayal became over his face. As he read the last bit of paper, he handed them to Artyom. Who also went through the papers. "Everyone of these soldiers are dead or MIA-... Wait a minute." Artyom said, as he looked at the last bit of paper. The name that he figured was going to be on there. Isaak. "He was just with me not even an hour ago..." Artyom said quietly, as he placed the papers back on the desk. Artyom rubbed his face with his hands. It was bad enough he had no idea where Isaak is, but now he probably knew everything about the base now. Artyom told the Colonel the main mission for Dante, the Colonel sighed and opened a drawer from the desk, he brought a paper and a stamper up. He sighed the paper and stamped it, and handed it to Artyom. "An Armory pass? What for?" Artyom asked in Russian. The Colonel explained to use what ever is necessary to find Isaak. As he finished, Artyom nodded and got up from his seat, walked over to the door and knocked on it two times. The guard outside opened the door and Artyom turned around to face Dante, "We have access to the best equipment that the Communist Union has to offer, and we need to find Isaak, and soon before he can return to the safety of the British." Artyom said.
  17. Artyom looked at the Colonel, and translated what Dante said into Russian, after he finished, the Colonel nodded his head. It seemed as he was thinking, after about a minute of an awkward silence, he spoke again. Artyom raised his eyebrow, but he just nodded and looked at Dante. "He said there is much more then that, American. The British here are working in top secret, developing weapons. The main reason were here is to make sure that whatever new tech is invented, is destroyed," Artyom said, with a wondering tone.
  18. Artyom noticed that Dante had his hand on his pistol. He wasn't surprised. If he was in his shoes he would have done the same. Artyom looked at the Colonel and nodded. As he started to speak, Artyom listened, and then turned to Dante. "His main concern is why an American recon team is this deep into Asia, and he wants to know of anything that might be of use that you have collect while you were here," Artyom said calmly.
  19. As Artyom continued through the base, the Polkovnik (Colonel) came out from his office, and walked side by side next to Artyom. They both were talking in Russian, and the Colonel looked at Dante a few times. As the small group reached the Medical Bay, there was already a group of doctors and nurses, ready for Fayth. Artyom gently set Fayth on the bed, and the doctors closed the curtain around her. Artyom turned to Dante: "The Colonel wants a few words with you in his office, I'll be translating." Artyom said, as the Colonel led both of them into his office. The office itself was quite nice, and more warm then the rest of the base. Artyom sat on one of the two chairs in-front of the Colonel's desk.
  20. Logan cursed under his breath, she was good, surprisingly good. He figured that he had to step up his game. Logan shifted again, and used the burst of speed, to get only a few feet behind Victoria's car. He used to the draft to slingshot his way past her again. However, that was short lived as a corner came up front, and Logan had to pull back again. A small bit of crowds here and there were watching them race, they actually thought we were Street Racing. "Alright Logan, time to play dirty." He said to himself.
  21. As Artyom approached the huge gate, he noticed that the doors didn't open right away. He waited patiently... and waited... and waited. As almost 3 minutes had past, Artyom was angrily annoyed now, and he forcefully kicked the door, obviously wasn't going to budge. "Open up!" Artyom yelled, and finally, the gate creaked open as the two guards opened it. However, the two guards drew there pistols as they saw Dante. "He's a friend, stand down." Artyom ordered. The two guards looked at each-other and nodded. They holstered the pistols again and Artyom turned around, facing Dante. "Follow me, don't look at anyone or talk to anyone." Artyom said seriously, as he turned around and walked through the gate, into the warm base.
  22. Artyom kneeled over and picked up Fayth again, "We need to hurry, there is probably more of them, and it would be best not to fight them right now." Artyom said urgently, as he again back in his jogging pace, going down the road. About another 2 minutes had passed, and Artyom could see the spot lights, he reached for his transmitter again. If he couldn't contact the base, they would be shot on sight. " Leytenant Artyom to Base, we have a wounded out here that needs immediate medical attention." Artyom said, breathing heavily from the running. With a little bit of static, Artyoms felt relieved to hear the Rotmistr's voice, "Leytenant, proceed to the gate with caution."
  23. Logan quickly shifted, and turned around the corner, as he turned, he drifted a little, giving a bit of a boost of speed and time. Logan was now side by side next to Victoria, he smiled as he shifted again, and drove in-front of Victoria.
  24. Logan grinned as he shifted into gear, and accelerated after Victoria. However, the Dodge Challenger had no problems catching up with Victoria, it was the issue of the heating. Hopefully, Blythe had installed a liquid coolant into the engine, or he'd be in trouble. Fast.
  25. Logan quickly driving through the streets, but when he turned a corner, he saw a red light. He slowed down as he approached it, with another car already at the light. He pulled up next to the car to see that familiar hair style, and face. It was Victoria. Finally a bit of luck hit him finally. Even though his windows were tinted black, she probably couldn't see who it was. Logan revved on the engine, challenging Victoria. OOC: Just so you know, that is not a W.
