  1. Norgold sighed as Caladus left, but was welcomed again when he returned so quickly. However, the question that he asked caught Norgold off guard. He's never have to deal with such situations before. "Uhh..." Norgold stated, nervously unsure how to approach the subject. He cleared his throat and began to speak again, "Look, Caladus... I..." Again, Norgold paused. He knew what to say, but the awkwardness that came over him when trying to say it overwhelmed his voice. He sighed and calmed down. "Just approach her calmly, and say that you like her, don't open your heart to her just yet. It's better to know if she likes you back before you do anything serious." He said calmly.
  2. Norgold frowned, "It's not just that this place feels... diffrent. It's the fact that how the Cult of the Dragon got so powerfull, and how far they have reached." He started, but fully realized what Caladus said, and he raised an eyebrow. "You like the Avariel? She seems so nervous around us. I'm surprised she hasn't left by now." He continued, but again went back on topic. "We need to get to the temple when everyone is up and awake." Norgold finished.
  3. "No, I'm not Caladus. I just can't sleep that's all." He replied again quietly. "There's just something that has been bugging me." Norgold said, as he sat down on one of the chairs near the front of the lair.
  4. Norgold expected someone woke up, and wasn't surprised that Caladus woke up. "Yeah..." Norgold replied quietly, as he continued to look at the decorations and furniture of the lair.
  5. Norgold awoke some time later, he didn't feel like he slept long, but he wouldn't know. Time doesn't care about the Underdark. He sat upward and looked around the darkened room. He didn't know why he was so cautious. However, he got up and slowly and quietly walked toward the door. He tried to open the door quietly, but he failed miserably. The door creaked incredibly loud. Norgold quickly looked down each direction, to make sure no-one awoke from the noise. Luckily, he didn't hear anyone. Norgold stepped out into the hallway and began to take careful and slow steps, looking around the decorations in the lair. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the temple of the Cult of the Dragon.... Olvia opened her eyes slowly. She sadly remembered where she was, her hands tied above her head, hopelessly starring at the jail bars in her cell. She hasn't eaten in days, and she was soaked from the water that the cruel man throws on her. Olivia was shivering and her teeth were chattering from the cold of the water. She supported her head on her arm, barley awake and functioning. Then, she heard the noise she was dreading, the cell door opening. The man had another bucket of water. Like he always did, before she was ready, Olivia felt the extreme cold of the water splash on her body. She was able to get a gulp of water, and she quickly swallowed it. The man laughed at Olivia's desperation, "Well, well, well. It seems Miss Beautiful isn't so tough now isn't she?" The man joked. Olivia looked at him, disgusted. "Oh screw you." Olivia said harshly. The man smiled creepily, and reached his hand and lightly rubbed Olivia's side, "Now, we don't need to be harsh no-" He said, before another person called him. "Trenis! Hurry it up!" The man called from down the hall it seemed. The man called Trenis turned around, to answer him. This was Olivia's chance... "Just a minute!" He yelled back, however Olivia reached up with her legs, and wrapped them around his neck, choking him. It was quite fast as he fell to the floor, passed out from the lack of Oxygen. Now for the hard part, grabbing the key's from Trenis's belt. Olivia reached with her toes and grasped the keys. She somehow managed to get them off but they were off, that's all that mattered. She tossed the keys from her toes up in the air, and she grabbed them with the tip of her fingers. She smiled as she unlocked her cuffs. As she rubbed her wrists, she needed to figure out where her armor and her Katana was. She looked out the cell. No-one was there surprisingly, and she went to her left. Hopefully she would get lucky and find them soon.
  6. Norgold smiled, he felt relived that she didn't hold a grudge over it. He turned toward the door, but after hearing Rhaine's words, he turned to face her again. "Yes... thanks again for understanding, and the same for you, Rhaine, my friend." He said, and smiled. Once again, he turned and opened her door, and stepped into the hall way, and closed the door behind him. He slowly returned to his quarters. As he opened the door, something inside of him felt... off. He didn't know what, but he decided to ignore it. He decided not to lock his door, just encase someone needed him. Norgold crawled into bed, covered himself with the blanket, and closed his eyes. Falling asleep quickly.
  7. Norgold was quite surprised that she hugged him, he's never seen her with this much emotion before. However, he didn't care. Norgold also wrapped his arms around her. He replayed her words in his head as he hugged her. "I'm glad you understand... It was still cruel, and I needed to apologize." He added.
  8. Norgold sighed as he opened the door and stepped inside, and lightly closed the door behind him. He turned again to see Rhaine hasn't bathed yet. "I would like to say sorry for earlier... about calling you a 'witch'," He began, for some reason, he found it hard to talk to Rhaine. "It was cruel and unnecessary, and I hope I didn't hurt you to much because of it." He said sensitively.
  9. Norgold looked at the bathroom door connection to his room, he slowly got up and knocked on the door gently. As he didn't hear the water running, and no-one answered, he opened the door a little, and peered inside. As he thought, no-one was in the bathroom. He opened the door and stepped inside. The room itself was nice, but it had an eerie glow to it. He began to run the water, it seemed to be nice warm and pure water. Which was odd because of how far they were into the Underdark. However, he didn't mind. As the tub finally finished filling, he took off his undergarments and stepped into the water. The warmness of the water made his skin tingle, it felt extremely nice. However, he quickly washed himself and got dressed again in clean tunic and trousers. Norgold peeked out his door again, and looked down both hallways. It seemed everyone was settled in, he stepped out and looked down the hallway. He needed to apologize to Rhaine for what he said, he felt horrible about it. It was cruel and unnecessary. He figured that Rhaine was took the last room down the hall. He slowly walked down until he reached her room, and light knocked on her door.
  10. Norgold rubbed his beard nervously. If they had hideouts in each and every location on the map, and they are very active in those locations, could mean much trouble for the whole world... however, he would love a warm bath, especially after his whole ordeal through this place. "Thanks," He said to Xallistine, then Norgold went to the first door on his right, and creaked it open, and stuck his head inside. The room was well lit, and it seemed to be cleaned regularly. Plus the bed looked clean and comfortable. He opened the door fully and took a few steps inside, and closed the door, and locked it. He breathed in heavily as he slowly took off his heavy armor. He set the armor neatly in the corner of the room, and placed his shield and hammer next to the pile also. Norgold sighed as he sat on the bed. It was quite comfortable, he was expecting worse for some odd reason. He wanted to just lay down and fall asleep, but he could really use a bath. He figured someone already went into the bathroom next to his room already, and waited his turn.
  11. Thanks for the comments guys, I'm guessing whenever we get to the temple.
  12. Norgold was actually fascinated by the amount of books that were on the shelf's. He smiled, but he knew that they needed to find what they came for, and leave. He pulled out multiple books and stacked them on his left arm. He grabbed the first book from the stack that he had, and gently blew the dust off. He opened the book to reveal an Elfish language, which he couldn't read. He put the book back in it's original spot and opened another. This time, he finally opened to a draconic book, he knew a little bit of the language, but not much. He could read a few sentences, but he wasn't entirely sure. Norgold heard Nawen, he put down his books and walked over. He saw the symbol in the middle of the page. "Is this the same symbol from the amulet?" Norgold asked, haven't seen the amulet up close.
  13. I really hope you guys like her, it took me awhile to put everything together... :ohdear: Name: Olivia May, (Known in the nation of Wa: Emi (Which means beautiful blessing) Saga). Race: Human Age: 32 Class: Samurai Alignment: Lawful Neutral Deity: Torm Place of Origin: Waterdeep, but moved to Wa for training. Appearance: Olivia has light blonde hair which was kept in a lose ponytail, very light blue eyes. She wears light make-up for when she is in public, and also because of her training she has an athletic build, but still strong. Armor/Clothing:Wearing the traditional Samurai armor, the Ō-yoroi set, with a kusazuri armored skirt and leather boots to match the armor set. She wears simple underclothes for somewhat further protection against the cold and the heat. Weapon: A personally made Katana, simply named Loyalty, has been her weapon of choice since she became a full Samurai. Personality: Olivia is well polite, especially to strangers. She is also loyal and honorable if someone is in need of help, or needs assistance of some sort. She also has a good sense of humor, with all the seriousness. History: Olivia was originally born in a poor family that lived in Waterdeep. Her father was a failed farmer while her mother worked at the local Inn as a waitress. They could barley afford the cottage they stayed in, much less Olivia's schooling. However, she was able to teach herself how to read, and so she went to the library as soon as she could. The librarian was really nice to Olivia, knowing her hardship of her life. He would regularly pick out books for Olivia to read when she came in every afternoon. She would often spend hours reading, she loved adventure books. Especially ones about the knight who rescued the princess. However, one night when Olivia didn't go to the library that day, to help her mother at the Inn, the library was burned down. The librarian was never seen nor heard of again. After Olivia had turned 17, having her father died 2 years ago from a mysterious disease that even the local priest couldn't even understand, she was going to her new job at the new library. It was built better and it was filled with much more books then it was 7 years ago. The local classes and children all came to see Olivia and get new books. She was happy, her mother was happy, life went on. That all changed when two thugs entered the library, demanding money. Olivia didn't have access to the money. There was a man who came in, collected the day's profit, and left. He came about an hour ago. Olivia told them this, but didn't believe her. One was about to strike her, before they were both cut down swiftly and quickly. Olivia was lucky the old Samurai came in at the time that he did. She would have probably been savagely beaten, and probably would have died. The Samurai introduced himself as Master Relamas. He was impressed that Olivia had stood her ground against the two thugs. Also he noticed that she had taken an interest in his Katana. Soon after, she began her training. The physical part of the training was difficult, but the mental part was almost near impossible for Olivia. However, she managed to get through the training, but Relamas was heading back to the nation of Wa soon, and he wanted her to come with him. To continue for advanced training. Of course, that would mean abandoning her mother. She went to talk with her mother about it, she looked happy, but she knew better. But, she just couldn't past up a chance like this, and promptly left with Relamas. During her training, she trained with a class of boys. Who made fun of her for even trying, but she knew better then to let stupid fools like them interrupt her training. She continued through the class with ease, even the incredibly tough Agility course that most of the men couldn't make it through. She actually finished the class early, going through it with flying colors. Even the most famous of Samurai were impressed by her skills. They soon started to call her Emi, since of her appearance and her remarkable skill. After her training was complete, she was assigned a mission to find another Samurai, who was sent to the Underdark to investigate the ancient artifacts that were laid to rest there. He hasn't returned in over two months. So after Olivia traveled back to Faerun, she met her mother again. Who happened to marry another man while she was gone. He was nice, and he could pay the rent so Olivia didn't have any grudges. She soon arrived at the Underdark, but soon figured out that they seemed to be waiting for her. Whoever they were, and now was held prisoner by who captured her.
  14. Norgold looked at Caladus, he had forgotten about his injuries, but he hasn't felt any pain at all since he woke up. He breathed in deeply, he couldn't feel any pain whatsoever. Norgold brought his hand to his head, and felt for the gash that he received in his fall. He couldn't even feel a scar. However, he didn't know if Xallistine had healed him, or the woman did. "I don't feel any pain Caladus, but thank you though." Norgold replied quietly. Norgold jumped when he heard Xallistine's outburst. He wasn't expecting that at all. He did have a point though, it would be better if they learned much more about it then to take random guesses. Norgold slowly got off the table and entered the Library.
  15. Norgold outstretched his arm, and opened his palm to reveal the scroll given to him by the woman in his dreams. "The woman in my dream gave me this... It's suppose to stop any hallucinations and from any nightmares from happening." He replied quietly, his throat sore from the yelling that he did earlier. He looked at Rhaine curiously, the way she rubbed her temple with her fingers... "Headache?" He asked, concerned. Norgold was the same way before he fell asleep. A headache...

  17. Norgold smiled, "Yes, I'm alright my friends," He paused, as he remembered what the women said to him in his dream, and his smile quickly vanished. He was trying to put his words together carefully. "But... I have much more disturbing news," He began, again trying to put his words together carefully. "The Cult of the Dragon has captured an Angel... they somehow managed to mix a Demon with him. This made the Angel much more powerful, but it also made him corrupted. He's been messing with my mind, trying to make me..." Again, he paused. "Kill you." He said quietly.
  18. Norgold body was shaking heavily, the fear and the nightmare still lingered in his mind while he slept. The nightmare was different each and every time. Sometimes, it would be in the Underdark, sometimes it would be in the Dungeon from the first time, and even there were times he couldn't even tell it was the same nightmare. He was trapped in an endless loop of torture that constantly played with his sanity. The dreams continued into the night... but then a contradiction happened. He awoke in a large, flourishing grass field. He slowly sat up, the gentle breeze blew against his face. The aroma from the near by flowers smelled wonderful. He had no idea why he was there, but he didn't care. As long as he didn't have to go back to that nightmare. He continued to look around his surroundings, he got to his feet to figure out where he was, or try to anyway. There was quite a large hill to his left, and just open field to his right. Suddenly, he heard a voice call for him. "Norgold, climb the hill, come talk to me," The mysterious voice said, in a quite sweet and soft voice. He had second thoughts at first, but something felt like it was pulling him up the hill. Before he even thought about what he was doing, he was already on top of the hill. Norgold looked around. It seemed that this was the only hill in the field, and it was quite odd. He walked forward to reveal a woman, with long flowing black hair, painting the field. She turned to look at him, and smiled. The woman was quite beautiful... stunning really. Her features seemed almost perfect in every way. Plus her smile even stunned him. "Please, sit," She said, nodding toward the tree stump next to her. He hesitated at first, he figured this was some kind of trick of some sort, but again, something felt like something was pulling him. Without saying a word, he slowly approached the woman, and sat down on the stump next to her. "The dreams you were having... they were the work of a corrupted Angel, who has sided himself with the Cult of the Dragon." She said, sadly. He turned toward the mysterious woman, a corrupted Angel? He knew they were powerful, but he had no idea that they could literally destroy minds... "I knew Angels are powerful, but how did he manage to corrupted my mind like that, even when I was awake?" He asked inquisitively. The woman shifted her weight uneasily, "Well... he's different then most Angels, he's much more powerful. The Cult did something to him, it seemed that they... fused an Angel and a Demon together somehow." She replied, disquieted. Norgold held his breath. "An Angel and a Demon, together? How can that even be possible?" He said, dauntingly She simply shook her head. "Your friends are waiting for you, you need to go back to them. I shall give you a scroll, you should read it when you first wake up. It will block the hallucinations," She said, smiling. As she finished her sentence, a large glowing light appeared from her body, and Norgold awoke. He looked around to see the group still doing their business, he smiled as he brought his hand to his face. The scroll was in his hand and opened it. He muttered the words carefully, and slowly sat up, and shifted his legs off the table.
  19. Otto helplessly watched the children being brought in, his heart sank as he heard the cries of each and everyone of the children, being slaughtered. He couldn't focus, his legs trembled, his breathing became shallow and heavy, his stomach wrenched, and the depression and sadness came over him, but more importantly, anger. He tightly gripped the handle of the saber, he looked around the room, the force that once surrounded the children, have gone. Otto took a few steps back, away from Traya. He never knew someone was capable of such evil.
  20. Otto was quick enough to block the lightning with his lightsaber, but the force push caught him off guard. He was thrown against the stair, but he quickly recovered. He used Force speed to quickly rush back over, he leaped over Traya and quickly slashed at her two guards. Again, he leapt over her and returned to a standing position, his lightsaber at the ready. He saw the two guards fall over on the ground. He hated taking a life, but it was the only way to stall her even more.
  21. Otto grinned, "Oh? and how are you different from the rest of the Dark Jedi?" Otto had to keep stalling, he looked out the window without turning his head to see the first of the ships leaving, good. However, if she was indeed special in some type of way, this fight will much more tougher then he had anticipated.
  22. OOC: I would like to point out that Miraluka's, are literally, born without eyes. That's why he covers his eyes, for social reasons so people don't get grossed out. Otto ignored the words, he knew better that she was trying to convert him. He tightened his grip around the handle of the Lightsaber, he didn't want to fight, he had to stall them long enough to let everyone get out. "You talk as if the Dark side can be triumph with childish riddles and questions. I know of your games, and if you think that I have not dealt with the kinds like you, then you are foolish." Otto said calmly.
  23. Norgold struggled frantically, trying to escape the grasp of whoever grabbed him. However, he was still too weak from his injuries. As Rhaine knelt in front of him, he could see Rhaine had that same evil grin as he had in his dream, he heard her talk, but it was altered. "Still alive are we? I can fix that!" Norgold heard Rhaine said, in a dark and crackly voice. He saw her hand reaching for his head, and it looked like the knife was in her hand. He swatted Rhaines hand away and pushed her away from him. "Go away you witch!" Norgold yelled, but Xalistine's servants pinned him down. Norgold was hyperventilating at this point, the fear had clouded his mind. He passed out.
