NMM 0.47.2 bugfix update released

Ever since 47.1, I have not been able to log in. Checked firewall to. It doesn't auto-log me in, and when I press the button it says I'm logged in, and a download bar appears, which says 0/1024 kb.

Nothing happens with that bar though and it's stuck, preventing me from downloading mods.

Try restarting NMM, connecting and re-synching.

The first day after the update, I had almost nothing in the "latest version" column.

Yesterday, I tried it and everything is FINE!

Not sure why, but it fixed itself. Someone suggested it might just have been a bad synch issue.

So is there a reason I can no longer log in? I'm already waitin on BOSS to update so it stops CTDing my Skyrim and now I can't even organize my mods because I don't want to use the offline version of NMM or else I can't update anything, including NMM itself.

NMM doesnt work anymore... I cant download mods with it nor update old ones. It just keeps saying: This version of NMM is no longer supported. Please update.

It is already updated

Nvm, i fixed it. If anyone is having the same problem: uninstall, reinstall, If not working agin, do the same action: uninstall, reinstall. At some point it will work.

I don't know what happened to my prior comment but something new that I discovered.

If you add a mod with NMM open the game and then log out and remove the mod in NMM the next time you encounter use where that mod would operate you will get a CTD everytime. Example: I installed a basement mod in the Breezehome but couldn't get my characters down the stairs so I deleted the mod in NMM. The next time I went to the Breezehome and opened the door I got a CTD.

I will try to sync the mod and game so hope for the best.

NMM has been updated to 0.47.3, and I'm on 0.47.1. For some reason, NMM will not update to the new version. I've tried closing it down and reopening it, but it's not updating.

Go to any of the game files pages and click the "0.47.3" link at the top.

Download and install the new version OVER the previous one.

First of all, I'd like to say that I love NMM as someone who had to do everything manually for years before it came out. I would also like to point out that, yes, I am aware that it is open beta and open source. And yes, I am aware that being a moderator really isn't the most fun thing ever.

However, saying "guys beta = beta" is not a free pass to get out of all issues. Saying "oh download the source and edit it yourself" seems like a veiled way of saying "we don't care about your suggestions."

"We also want to hear any suggestions on what we can do to make it better. Just don't expect every one of your suggestions to be instantly made a part of the program. Some are already being worked on, some are on a back burner to be worked on later, and some are impractical or possibly conflict with other features." -bben46

Great! But some of these replies to posts that have been clearly just suggestions, not demands mind you, have been of the tone "Don't like it? Do it yourself!" Seems pretty contradictory. I don't mean to be snarky or whiny, but frankly you guys are acting kinda rude. Not that commentors don't or don't deserve it sometimes but still. I feel as though I'm reasonable in pointing this out, just the concerns of a long-time nexus user.

With that little rant out of the way: For anyone still having log in issues, I updated to the newest version and I can log-in, which is weird since I couldn't on my older version even though in the past no matter how long I waited to update NMM I could always log in. So if you haven't updated yet, do that. If you're afraid of losing your mods or whatever, installing over your current version won't break your mod list or your load order. Just go to the NMM download page and download it like you would normally and you should be fine. If this doesn't work for you, either wait it out until a future update can fix it or fiddle with your firewall or possibly port forwarding.
