  1. Hi, I have some improvement, I don't like to touch My skyrim.ini values but I had to. I changed previous values from the iNumHWThreads= section, because I think I had maybe some values tweaked for the AMD fx8350. So I read in this post someguy recomending this tweaks for an intel Core i7, and seems now the FPS are Higher. This is the post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/1yj1v7/do_the_ini_tweaks_for_multicore_cpus_actually_work/ And those are the values I changed; some people say you don't should touch anything, but anyway... you can give it a try. [General] iNumHWThreads=8 iHWThread6=7 iHWThread5=6 iHWThread4=5 iHWThread3=4 iHWThread2=1 iHWThread1=0 iAIThread2HWThread=3 iAIThread1HWThread=2 iRenderingThread2HWThread=1 iRenderingThread1HWThread=0
  2. I have overclocked a little my CPU to 4.5Ghz and still none improvement, dammm skyrim you dammm... DRAWCALLS: 2800 DRAWTRIANGLESCOUNT: 1.700.000 I'll try that about the hyper-threading... thanks.
  3. HI, first to nothing... thank you, I think my PC is a Beast, so It's like I cannot accept a 40FPS performance. MY specs... core i7 6600k nvidia GTX 970 4GB VRAM 16GB of DDR4 RAM 2400Mhz It's very weird because my FPS seems to be locked at 43, only looking to the sky or on interiors can reach 60FPS, but i don't have any limiter, only Vsync forced by nvidia control panel, but turning it off doesn't help too. Previously I played with higher performance on Windows 10, with my old AMD FX 8350, but when I upgraded to the 6700K, I had to reinstall windows again and now I cant reach the same performance level, it was like 50 FPS average, with a less powerful CPU. 4. with ENB turned OFF I can reach more than 100 FPS, what the hell? a 60 FPS Drop by ENB???? The F#cK!!!
  5. I have the same problem, I have days of searching and a Bug or problem with the ENB seems to be the only reason. If you have any solution please post it here.
  6. Hi I have tested everything you said, and everything I could, like turning on-off the Vsync, disabling Ambient occlusion of ENB, everything, downing the quality of ENB grafics, the only thing works is turning off the ENB, what is weird, is that is the same settings I used on my old AMD fx8350, and when the ENB is turned off seems like the FPS are locked to 43 frames, I only get more FPS indors or by looking to the sky, but its weird it is almost always 43 FPS, its a strange pattern, but there is no FPS limit activated, I have checked that many times. Also I reinstalled My ENB, and updated it. Thank you for your help, if you have any suggestion please let me know.
  7. Thank you I'm going to install those programs, I had them before, but this is a new windows installation, so it's a start from scratch. I will let you know both, if I figure out how to fix it.
  8. What ENB are you using and where are you setting your AA and AF values? Hi, thanks, anything could help, I am using Realvision ENB, my Anti-alias is set to application controlled, the anisotropic filtering is set to application controlled, and ambient occlusion is set to Disabled. Also i have disabled Vsync from skyrim and from the ENB, but I am forcing it by the nvidia control panel, disabling it by complete doesn't help my performance.
  9. I upgraded my PC from an amd fx8350 to a skylake intel i7 6700k, maybe the best processor for gaming. I was expecting to have the best experience with skyrim but nope, I have a better consistent performance, stability and less drops, but have less FPS compared to de AMD Fx8350. My Video Card is an Nvidia GTX 970. The FPS doesnt go up more than 43. and keeps on an average of 35-37FPS. With my FX8350 I reached +50 FPS in some conditions on exteriors. Also I had reinstalled windows 10, configured my Nvidia Control panel, and all the other configurations like the skyrim.ini files and skyrimprefs.ini are the same, my game is pretty heavy modded more than 250 plugins, but I was playing nice with the FX8350. Also I found that turning off the ENB the FPS goes up to 60FPS and keeps stable so I think the problem maybe is the ENB and my nvidia control panel settings. I have tried anything, including turn off Vsync totally, tweaking my .ini files, and tested a lot step by step, looking for improves, like lowing my Anisotropic Filtering, but it doesn't improve my FPS. Please help
  10. UPDATE 20-09-2015: Recently, following this guide I reached a +10 FPS boost, but it depends of your system, and your skyrim configuration, MODs installed, ETC, anyway you can try making this tweaks but first you should backup your .ini files (always backup before making changes). GUIDE: Real Ugrids To Load Solution and More http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48387/?. Off course use this tweaks with Stable Ugridstoload - Cell stabilizer And use this FPS BACKGROUND BOOSTER, I mean it, this gives me +10FPS, but off course it depends of a lot of variants, like I said before. If you don't do safe modding practices nothing will help you. At least, for me worked, and I'm very happy about.
  11. Hello, seems this happens when you have a lot of save games and those are big files, like 15MB each one (mine were 20MB+), maybe because of a heavily modded game, so the solution is just keep the most important or resent saves and the other move it to another folder where skyrim can't read it. In my case i have like 500 saves and each one very heavy, also i moved all my saves to the same drive were skyrim is installed (Solid state drive SSD). Another think you can do is clean your save games with a savecleaner tool, JUST IN CASE
  12. I FIXED MY PROBLEM, PLEASE ADMINS DON'T DELETE THIS POST, MAYBE SOMEONE NEED THIS IN THE FUTURE, I WILL DESCRIBE AS BEST I CAN. FIRST TO NOTHING SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH, I AM DOING MY BEST. -The problems: changed the skirim.ini location and the performance gone to sh&t changed the skyrim's save files and the performance gone to sh$t -Then a new problem appears: lag only in menus, called like mouse pointer LAG or something. In my case my storage configuration is: -STORAGE 1: 128GB SSD where is windows 10 (the operative system (os)) -STORAGE 2: 250GB SSD Where is skyrim and where I want to move my .ini and save files. -STORAGE 3: 1TB Hard Drive Where is all the Junk and other games, here were my first attempt to move my files, but had bad results, so I decided to move it to the same SSD where skyrim is. The solution: STEP 1: If you want to change the .ini files and saves location-directory, you should do an MKLINK, following this tutorial https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753194%28WS.10%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 , with this you create a special direct acces or link (call it what you want) to the place you moved your files. Here is another better explanation of what is a MKLINK: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/278262-mklink-create-use-links-windows.html What I have done is moved the saves and .ini files to the STORAGE 2 (where is skyrim), and created KMLINKs on the STORAGE 1 and 3, inside the document Folders of those Drives. NOTE: also changed mydocuments default folder to storage 3 following this guide: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/310147 STEP 2: I decided to clean my save files with the savecleaner mod, just in case i have corrupted saves. I used these both: -http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? -http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31724/? STEP 3: If you are experiencing bad performance for no reason, and also (but not always) lag in menus, maybe it is because you have too many save files, and maybe too big save files (like mine 20MB+ wow!), so what you should do is take the vast majority of those files and move them to a new folder where skyrim can't read it (can be a new folder inside the saves folder), in my case i left just 50 saves, and the others gone to the new folder. ....AAANDD THE PROBLEM IS GONE. If you have questions you can text me and I will Update this post.
  13. Seems its the same, gave the same configurations and is "read only" configured, i just don't understand. I had googled and there is no results with this issue.
  14. I achieved a pretty good performance with 200+ mods, but a few days ago I changed skyrims.ini directory and the performance gone to sh.... :( I just followed this guide to change my default documents directory, i think is the source of the problem, but i reversed and the game still have bad performance... https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/310147 Please help me.... :(
  15. Hello, this is a close description of what i have done to remove stutter, i just want to help because I tested a lot of time. -install the one tweak mod. -turn off the game's vsync. -turn off ENB vsync. -USE the drivers Vsync on Nvidia's control panel or AMD contro panel (catalyst control center). -Distant object detail, turn it to high or medium, do not use ultra. if you want, you can read this guide to improve your game (i don't optimize textures cause i don't like it) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/? NOTE: english for my bad sorry.
  16. i have a very f***&%g heavily modded skyrim, and im impressed, after lot of testing and different configurations my game finally runs sooo smooth, this is my configuration: -install the one tweak mod.
  17. THANK YOU BRO! THIS SOLVED MY PROBLEM!! :D
  18. I had the same problem, the problem was the meshes, but you have to replace both the _0 and _1 meshes, i just downloaded "i love cleavage mods", got only the meshes i need, and replaced them, there was no need of install all the mod, just the meshes i needed. "I love cleavage" mod meshes have a very good look.
  19. I had some similar problems, it happened when I was using bodyslide (didnt even know I was doing xD, just testing), and because of a rookie mistake, I modified the meshes of the data folder (character seems, fortunately, had a backup of all the "data folder" files of the game, so, copied the files from "Skyrim \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character folder" (on my backup of course) and overwrote that were damaged. Better when you habe an extensive modded game is to make a backup at the time were your game is working perfectly because in modding you will be always messing things up.
