  1. Nevermind, I found that choosing the resolution in Nvidia Experience (2560x1440 in my case), and using full screen instead of "windowed borderless" it works without problems. Hope this helps someone in the future.
  2. I want to test this on fallout 4, I have done it with this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33458, it works, but I just want to know if this is the only way, only because with this fix when I do alt-tab the desktop or all the screen turns green, it only returns normal when closing the game. I have already googled it, but did not find anything. Thanks for any help!
  3. Thanks, Master! (Arthmoor gave me an advice!) <3
  4. CAN YOU UPDATE AN ESL FLAGGED PLUGIN? Can you do the next process? 1-You see a light plugin that can be flagged as an esl. (By using the SSEEDIT script) 2-You flag the plugin as an esl. 3-You see a new update of the mod, and you install it. 4-The plugin is not esl flagged, so you flag it. Can you do this? Or it will mess your save game? Thanks for any help!
  5. Thank you for your time! Both answers are valid! Thanks!
  6. I mean, is there any automatic way to know how many .esp plugins are active and using one of the 250+ slots?} I have checked by vortex, wrye bash and loot, but it seems they count every mod, including .esl, .esps flagged as .esls, and even mods without plugins. I just want to know how many mod slots I have available.
  7. Thanks for this great tool, also I have come to its defense. I have been using this even since the alpha state. With NMM had several problems, crashes, and the tool suddenly stopped managing some files, making a mess of files. Just had a little of problems in the firsts states, but noting serious, I solved the conflicts just by installing last, the mods with higher priority. Now the beta does the work, is powerful and with a great future!
  8. In response to post #64509266. Bullshit, I have been using this even since the alpha state. With NMM had several problems, crashes, and the tool suddenly stopped managing some files, making a mess of files. Go trow your garbage elsewhere!
  9. If you love this game, you should start learning basics of modding, because as modding is beautiful and addictive, it is risky as well... Read things like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11140
  10. C Well if your game does't crash on loadscreen anymore you succeeded sir!!! xD xD! I'm no joking! because CTDs may have many causes, a ctd during a gameplay has a lot of reasons, and maybe one of the most difficult to repair! Post here your load order and faithfully I may help you! if the divines want of course! Some causes: -Wrong load order. -incompatible mods (you have to read every mod description you use). -Corrupted meshes (most of them fixed by the mod authors) -Using some oldrym mods. -Mods with dirty edits or errors. You can check errors using sse edit, just search in youtube for "tes5edit fixing errors".
  11. See this video, is extensive but one of the best. You may find videos typing "xedit cleaning masters" (you can change xedit for tes5edit, or SSEDIT, the tool is has various names depending on some things, but is the same topic). Cleaning is very easy, don't be afraid. ---- see from minute 14:43, first use loot and press the "sort plugins" button, it will show you that your master files are dirty (after every skyrim update), next open SSeedit and load each plugin at a time, and follow the video I gave you. The video explains a lot, but this is the only thing you need to know. Don't clean other files from other mods, just the originals from the game (excluding skyrim.esm), because some mods has dirty edits intentionally, about those you need to read it's nexus web page to see if the mod autor refers about it, or click the forum tap inside the same site as well. Sorry about my English, is not my native language.
  12. SUCCESS: I updated every mod or tool with SKSE 64 as requirement without any success, so I rolled back to skse 2.0.7. Surprisingly I found the same problem, CTD during the save's loadscreen. Then I finally found the source of the problem, I forgot that on every update, the master ESMs get dirty ITM records and references, so I cleaned them up whit SSEEDIT, and my skyrim is running again. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
  13. same problem here, rolling back to skse64 2.0.7, I could not find anywhere the source of the problem...
  14. JUST TELLING YOU, this tip is a little underrated and was my cause of CTDs on a totally new game-play, and I think this should be on important web pages about crashes and stability. Recently I started to have crashes, but I couldn't understand what was happening, I installed a new gameplay, and carefully choose my mods before starting to play, to evade messing my savegame again. I havent made any change - uninstalled or installed mods so what was the problem??? A f&%#ing windows 10 update re-enabled the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service (I disabled it previously), it is true this service cause crashes, as soon as I disabled it my game is solid and stable. Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service causes CRASHES CTD on skyrim special edition on WINDOWS 10. (To everyone searching at google). This sh¡t causes random crashes with apparently no reason. To disable it justo follow this guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/259900/how-to-permanently-disable-the-touch-keyboard-in-windows-8-and-10/
  15. After many hours of this thing (modding skyrim until it crashes), I found the source of this problem and many others was using Vortex Mod Manager on its currently alpha state, but of course is my fault, it's just an alpha. On this state, you have to install your mods one by one carefully, because sometimes the mod manager doesn't overwrite nor apply correctly the changes and the mod priorities. The best practice I found currently, is letting the tool finish a task before starting another one, and installing the mods with highest priority last. I was having crashes in combat, and it seems that Vortex was interrupting the archive updates done by the FNIS tool, it seems that is better to use FNIS, LOOT, and wrye bash with vortex closed.
  16. Anyway, I know i will find a solution to this problem, and I will post it here for every person looking for the answer in the future, that why I use this forum.
  17. jummm im not an engineer, but I dont like to optimize something that is not required to. I have already optimized every mod I used from oldrym, and I am meticulous about it. The only landscape mod I use from oldrym is 4k parallax tree-bark (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61875) but it is not the source of the problem. Update: helgen reborn is not the source of the problem
  18. Please help me, I have just finished installing my new game-play with vortex mod manager, and this happens with the camera, even with the "toggle fly camera" command. Im suspicious about helgen reborn because the problem only happens in riverwood and places near Helgen, I started the game using a save-file called "RICK" that is in the mod files of special edition (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2311). Screenshots of the problem here: https://imgur.com/a/sqemQ
  19. I understand, yesterday I tried like this, but it didn't work, the only solution was to reinstall de mod, like in old nexus MM, so this way the mod is overwriting the older installed mods.
  20. Hello, is it just me? or there is a problem with the conflict resolution. For example: -I'm using noble skyrim, that includes road textures, but I don't want those road textures. -Also im using Skyrim 2017- road textures by pfuscher, those are the textures I prefer (SO THEY CONFLICT) -I set that Skyrims 2017 textures have to be loaded AFTER Noble skyrim textures, but inside the game, it keeps loading the "Noble" textures. Im I doing something wrong? or this is a bug? thanks for any help.
  21. f*#@, I really need this, NMM has been a pain in the ass for me, many times ended with a messed up data folder because it stops managing the files and shows the mods as disabled. PD: I will not use Mod organizer, as its creator is working in Vortex, i want the best of both worlds, simplicity of NMM and the power of MO.
  22. Some people say they got it working with SKSE64, I bet they only done some basic conversion procedures to achieve that, like converting the meshes, animations and the plugin with creation CLUB.
  23. could you please confirm if deadly mutilation is working on skse64? I just wanna know before start testing
  24. So deadly mutilation is working on SKSE64?? that mod is one of the "must-have" for this game! <3
  25. This mod was causing me CTDs after the last update: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11542/? it isn't even an .esp, or a plugin, is just an "interface file" It seems some files like these could crash the game running on the last update, hope this helps someone else.
