  1. bruh i need help with this it looks like an eyesore(I now also realize the screeenshot resolution and size sucks, thanks steam)
  2. im currently working on planning out map markers for a project(so i know what building space i have) that i plan on in the future when i get better at creation kit. strange stuff happens in-game though, but when i walk over the glitched line it loads just fine, with a hiccup . (exhibit A)the world at the western border of the pip-boy map around the same area but closer to the border(slightly moved away to get a better view of exhibit A) i was wondering if there was a fix for this, i do have the unofficial f4 patch installed but i dont think it solves this
  3. edit: Launching a game with F4SE mods dosent fully function from the normal launcher by clicking the F4 desktop icon or the steam play button, but strangely enough entering local files and launcing with the f4se loader works perfectly. Not sure why, but just to be safe I'll stay with that.
  4. the west coast enclave has been gone for a while and is pretty much on the verge of collapse unless someone in the leadership turns the tide on the east coast.
  5. is it possible to have different vortex profiles and not have this problem?
  6. Following this 2 part series by some dude named neeher on youtube. Tutorial is going smoothly, but he's talking about this XMarker Heading that I can see upon pressing M to see all the function stuff. I plan on making a test mod at Ranger Cabin. He's doing the Atom Cats Garage. There is an XMarker in front of the property but it dosent seem to have a location reference. He seems to place them in a square with all of them facing the settlment location, and his is consisting of multiple cells. Ranger Cabin only needs one. need help
  7. hah pfft, "arid", talk about rain, which is something you dont see in the capital wasteland mind you
  8. It would barely take any time for scrapping things. Metal could be scrappable and recyclable if you found the right equipment and tools, and could even be done on a local scale if you got a steel mill back to functioning. This is an issue I believe is well stuck in the Forged raiders. Missed opportunity. Scrap papers and posters would've been excellent as fire fuel, so most old papers and files shouldve been gone a long time ago. Realistically it would be a pain, but cleaning up and reusing materials from trash and rubble piles would be possible. Unfortunately, it would take a recycling plant and then a fully functioning cement/asphalt plant just to have suitable materials for reconstruction of buildings, and then you have an entire major city on the east coast. Yeah, I find the intact buildings a major flaw in F4. Probably because its just for the sake of gameplay and exploration, which i dont find bad at all, but if most of the skyscrapers are still standing after a blast wave, then the pre-war architects in boston must have been descendants of the gods.
  9. By the events of Fallout: New Vegas the NCR has taken Northern California and small chunks of Oregon and Nevada. Most of them are probably doing okay, although it probably gets worse up north because it would still be under heavy reconstruction, and the looming threat of raiders and instability within NCR territory. From the Fallout show trailers, which show Los Angeles as a still destroyed area by 2296, this has to be a stupid retcon in the lore, because with the NCR approaching a million or already has, and rebuilding California has already gone well underway, it would make sense that people would have began to clean up, rebuild, and repopulate LA. If your looking to make a Mojave-based mod, Project: Mojave would be a great place to start if you want lore. Things have quieted down and some of the NCR's enemies seemed to have backed down somewhat, but it still has that feeling much of the area is abandoned and unprotected. I'm honestly not so sure how there's been a six-year stalemate though TBH.
  10. Okay so an update on this, I decided to just say "screw the enclave playthrough" and deleted all saves of it. I was hoping to start a playthrough dedicated to rebuilding the commonwealth object by object with many settlement mods as inspired by a youtube series for f4, but im also looking VERY forward to fallout: london. Fallout London is a different case because it involves a complete rework of the game, even the main menu, but I want a different playthrough too just for those mods. I dont think it is possible to have both playthroughs at all without conflicts, but hopefully I can work something out.
  11. man this reminds of that "fallout 4 vr: full playthrough" video I saw on YT. It gets stupid but it's funnier as it goes on.
  12. Project Massachusetts might be something you're looking for. It's still in beta though, but a massive update just came out in January. It has the goal of expanding Fallout 4's worldspace beyond the borders and fill in the full-sized satellite map that comes with the satellite map mod well-known among nexus mods. There's a lot to be done to it, but Essex county has been filled in and you can explore towns as far as Newburyport, which is near the New Hampshire border. Just make sure you have that satellite map installed, so you can see the map markers past Salem.
  13. Not even unofficial fallout 4 patch dosent have this fixed? those guys do wonders making fallout 4 a much more seamless experience. If you dont use it, perhaps try having it downloaded for a test.
